The people are super nice and attentive. They remembered us the second time we went. We went to lunch twice. Usually, if I can find a couple of good items at a buffet, I'm happy. There were over 10 items here I loved. Our favorite was the tonkatsu ramen, although the ramen eggs were too hard. The egg drop soup was great. Several chicken dishes were great also. We started out with an appetizers of edamame and steamed goyoza. The edamame was as expected lightly salted, & fresh. She stated the salmon was a nice deep red, which we would expect for a quality sushi grade, and the avocado was aged perfect, not hard, nice and soft and creamy. Her volcano roll she mentioned it was tasty and fresh, the volcano roll her was presented a bit different then other sushi places as it wasn't deep fried with spicy sea leg on top. It showed as a circular plating with crushed panko and the Kani salad on top. We both felt this was much healthier then a deep fried version and she felt it was tasteful and better. Welp... second time here in the last 2 months and its time for a review. This is the best quality…read moresushi and sashimi I have had in YEARS! The service was super friendly and courteous... I am not sure if they have Japanese roots but everyone took the time to make our experience and food phenominal, which is a part of the Japanese culture. The actual fish quality and care in preparation with the little additions of yuzu and other spices on the individual pieces were amazing! It was like every piece was served as omakaze. Also, the chef served the highest quality and cuts of fish. This was a second visit for us. I usually do a review after two visits to judge a location and this place exceeded our first visit... I thought the first visit was a fluke because of how good it was. Now I believe they are actually this good.. The locals that live around here have a plethora of places to go to for sushi (we know because we have been to em all), but this place is the Gold Standard in our opinion. We live about 40 minutes away and made the trip here because of what I remember from our last visit. The ambience is cool with tons of pictures of private parties and fun times people have here. I deff want to have them cater a sushi party for us soon! We went here the first to try some place new by searching Yelp.... However, I saw them pop up on either my Instagram or Youtube feed a couple weeks ago.
