Hmm... I'm honestly a little conflicted about this place. I called ahead and ordered the pork belly ramen with extra pork belly, but when I got there I still ended up waiting about 20 minutes. After getting a little impatient, I asked if my order was ready and suddenly it was brought out right away, which felt a bit off. To be fair, they did seem pretty busy, but I had placed my order 25 minutes in advance and only ordered one item, so I was expecting a smoother pickup. Though I didn't eat there, the inside was nice with tons of seating. As for the food, I wasn't blown away. The ramen had potential, but it fell a little flat for me. There wasn't much broth, the flavor was pretty mild, and the pork belly actually tasted more like chicken. It was also grilled, which wasn't really my preference for ramen. Overall, not a terrible experience, but not one that stood out either. I might come back to give their sushi a try and see if that changes my mind. read more

The server was unhappy and kinda rude to my elderly grandmother and aunt. We said thank you a bunch of times and never said your welcome. It was also not busy in the restaurant. My grandmother was trying to make a joke about being too young to drink and he is just staring at her. Like i understand it's not the funniest joke but like come on she's an old lady trying to be kind and light hearted. He Never gave us silverware (again my grandmother is old so she can't use chopsticks), never gave us extra plates, never gave more water. I visited sushi roll yesterday with my mom and we had such a bad experience. The food was not great and the service was even worse. We saw they had a 2x1 special after 5pm Monday-Wednesday and when we arrived we got seated quickly. A waiter came to our table to take our drink orders and they were brought fairly quickly. We placed an order for edamame's which were good. We then waited at least 20 minutes for our sushi rolls order to be placed. The soda is $4 each for a can and once you finish it they charge you another $4 for another can, understandable but pricey for a canned soda. After placing our order we waited another 20 minutes for our food to come out. The waiter was just so rude, we probably interacted with him 3 times during our time here. Once during the beginning, secondly during the placement of the order and lastly for him to bring us our check. Not once did he come and check on our drinks, our food, napkins for which we had to ask someone else for, any extra sauces, nothing!! The food was mediocre at best. I love sushi and am never picky when trying new things but some of their options were not the best especially for the price. Luckily, there was a World Cup soccer match on their TVs which we were able to enjoy while we waited so long to place an order, for our food, for napkins, for another drink, for the check. The ambiance was okay, not too loud. I'm only happy I got to try this place because I know never to go back. They had some unique rolls on the menu like the Bora Bora which had a coconut tempura crust. He was very attentive and took notice that we really liked spiciness so he brought out this little bowl of sliced chilies, which he called Chiles toreados. Most of the sushi rolls have imitation crab instead of the normal shredded prepared crab; I only saw one roll with tuna on it besides their lower grade sashimi on the menu. The presentation looked nice, but the taste wasn't there at all. The Spiciness of anything on the menu that indicates spicy was hot. It tasted much like if they were using real peppers that resulted in sweat coming from your forehead. The Atmosphere was louder than what is expected, they had a UFC fight broadcasting on their large TVs. It does has the Mexican Fusion type environment but the food was disappointing. And for the price, its was expensive for their sushi, most rolls averaged $18 and up. With 3 rolls, a bowl of chicken rice and an order of edamame along with the 18% min tip on their machine, I was already at $100 with 2 waters. The service was just mediocre, I wouldn't recommend this place not go back to it. Other places you can get all you eat sushi for less than what I paid and with better quality. read more

The food is consistently delicious -- fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. However, I've had a frustrating experience with the same server three times now when it comes to tipping. I always tip -- I respect and appreciate good service -- but this particular guy tries to push his own tip amount instead of letting me decide what to give. He doesn't say it directly, but he gets very pushy with the payment tablet and makes it super uncomfortable. It honestly feels like he's trying to guilt or pressure you into tipping more than you're comfortable with. It's disappointing because everything else about this place is great. My advice? I want to start off saying that the service here was absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was very friendly and fast, which was exactly what we needed. However, the food was a huge miss, outside of the miso soup. The miso soup was hot and decently portioned but the sushi rolls (shrimp tempura and Philly) were dry and it was clear very low quality ingredients were used. The "spicy mayo" is actually a chipotle sauce that does not go well with sushi at all.
