We paid ~$80 for edamame and three rolls, the price could have been justified if the food was good but it wasn't even "okay" it was BAD. Service was a bit disappointing as well, not attentive in the slightest for such a small place. I got the philadelphia roll and it was splendid. Just enough serving in the roll to get a good taste of the salmon + the philadelphia cheese. My partner got the crunchy roll. He wasn't a fan of the eel sauce but he ate the whole roll so it must have not been bad. However, it did have imitation crab which wasn't on the menu in the description... Don't know if thats an error on the menu or on the chef. Appetizers I ordered an ate, super yummy as well. The fried Gyoza was so good and crispy. Some of the best I've had in a while. I came to eat with my family at this place today, and had bad service. First some of the food came late and I ordered a jalapeño roll that they never brought it out and I cancelled it, everyone was already finishing up their food. I told them to just remove it from the check since they never brought it at the end they said that the cooks were busy which I understand but they could have told me that from the start. I been going there for a few years and I have never had a bad experience everyone that works there had been so nice except this Mexican older woman. You can tell she doesn't like her job, I don't understand how they can have someone like her working there with horrible attitude. Not only her attitude was horrible and snapped at us my 7 year old was upset almost cried because she wanted to eat there and she said the Mexican woman was mean to her brother. They need to get workers that don't have a nasty attitude also they need to have working heaters we went to celebrate my daughter's birthday in October and same thing they didn't have gas, they need to step up their game and make sure their business is running well and they need to fire the rude old woman and hire people that actually want to work. Alright, here we go. Hamachi kama, over cooked. Tempura, too oily. Should be cooked with higher temp for shorter time so the oil can drain more. Rice, slightly on dry side. I think it should be cooked with slightly more water Tempura sauce and ponzu sauce could use some revamping I thought. The price range was slightly higher than sushi restaurants I am accustomed to. But admittedly, this restaurant is not targeting someone like me, so well, I shouldn't be too critical? But what bothered me the most was the restaurant was not well ventilated and I smelled like tempura after I left. That took down a notch from 4 star to 3 star. What tf did I just pay an extra $8 for? This place does not disappoint. Once upon a time, prepandemic we used to come here often. I loved everything on their menu. Recently I met up for dinner with a friend I haven't seen in almost a year, and suggested this place, I was a little scared because again, hadn't been here for a while, I didn't know if the quality was still as good or if the menu was still the same... man oh man... A+ for them. They kept it up! There was no inside seating but as soon as a table became available they brought us right in, it was starting to get chilly outside even with the outdoor heaters on, so that's as nice. Our server did his job, the only thing is that there was a language barrier. I give them props for trying though! Needless to say, my friend loved it too anyway, and she wants to come back!!! Now my only neg is I lost my CC there. This was the last place I used it at. I called the very next day, and I was informed that a card was found but the manager was not working that day and only the mgr has the key to their lost and found box. This is not at any fault of the employees, nor does it affect food quality so take it for what is worth. But if a mgr isn't there someone else should be standing in for them, this was my fault for loosing it however, since no charges were made on my card by whoever found it, I just locked it on my mobile banking app and hoped it would be there as I didn't want to go through the hassle of getting a new one. I called the following day, I never got to speak with the mgr but supposedly the box was checked and my card wasn't there. My issue with this is I waited over 24 hrs to get an answer, by then it was a Saturday. This is an easy fix so hopefuly they look into a solution to help their customers on this end. read more

I like that this place is open at 11am since most other places are open until 3pm. I tried the rainbow roll which smelled unusually fishy for a sushi and it wasn't even held up against my lips. I opened the box and smelled a pungent smell. Background for me is I eat lots of fish raw and cooked. And the color of the raw fish was a little concerning. I had a few bites of that. The jalapeño hamachi roll was good, good flavor, smelled normal and the color of the raw dish was normal for a yellowtail. The salmon dynamite was squished down so it was decent. Not much flavor. Placed an order for pickup. Asked for soy paper instead of seaweed on both of my rolls. They COMPLETELY ignored that. Asked for the dynamite roll that's supposed to have BAKED scallops. They are raw. The food quality at Unisushi has gone way downhill. I used to go here all the time and hadn't been in a while. In the past the tuna was fresh and a bright pink/red. The salmon was fresh and a nice orange. You could tell it was good quality by looking at it and it tasted delicious. Phoned in an order a couple of weeks ago, picked it up, and when I got home, the tuna and salmon were both pale, grayish, and a bit slimy. I wasn't even sure if it was actually tuna on the rolls. The rolls were not cut all the way through, they fell apart, and the fish tasted awful. Thought it might just be a bad night. Ordered the same thing a week later and it was the exact same situation. Both times I picked up were during dinner. No customers were in the restaurant either time. That says something. read more

The vegetable tempura was good and was a large portion but it didn't come with the traditional tempura dipping sauce and I'm not sure if that was a mistake on their part or if they just don't include that. The ramen broth had good flavor but the noodles and chicken were not good at all. As for the California and Crunchy roll they were okay the crab meat was a bit chewy.
