I am very disappointed in the food I received tonight. I ordered from Uber eats. I ordered a soup and come yellow curry. The way that this restaurant packaged my order was awful. They had my curry in a thin plastic take out bowl with my soup in another bowl on top. Together they were inside a very loose and thin plastic bag. All of the contents of both the soup and the curry were at the bottom of the plastic bag. Looked like getting a fish from the fair. My meal was completely inedible. Along with some sushi rolls my bill came out to 85 dollars. Called the restaurant and the lady I spoke to said I could either come and pick up a remade order or go through Uber eats and request a refund. Since I am far and the point of ordering through Uber is to not leave the house I opted for the second choice. They refunded 11 dollars out of my 85. 11 DOLLARS. This was the first time I ordered from this restaurant and it will be my last. For such expensive food you would think they would package their food better. If you are thinking about getting take out I would find someplace else! read more

This place is not the best I've seen compared to other Thai places. The food was fresh and came out fast but flavor wise meh. The service was lax and servers aloof. The water glasses had spots with what looked like a mineral crud buildup. The waitress said sorry they are all like that. Yuck! No placemats. The dragon roll sushi is made with fake crab. Terrible service . Went in tonight , there was literally NO ONE there. The staff is terribly rude . I got NO refill on my beverage because everyone was too busy talking to each other with their backs turned to hs . Pepper was our server and she actually found it hilarious that my mouth was burning while she was too busy talking in hidden view to the other waitress that was also in hidden view . Great food... Excellent quality. However I have noticed that they don't always have greatest sushi presentation.. I always order the Salmon Don and the first few years I got amazing looking plates now I get just salmon covered rice... No garnishes not even ginger and wasabi. I pay like $16 for the plate and I would expect a few garnishes at least. I went with a friend the other day and she got a simple California roll and it was amazingly presented and my Salmon Don was just plain... I will post a photo of the decline in the presentation of my plates. The service there is a hit or miss. Sometimes I think they misunderstand what customers are saying. I noticed this place when I was shopping at Publix and decided to stop in since I use to come here when it was Gekko Sushi. The good: I ordered the Pad Thai w/shrimp and was delicious. The noodles were not too mushy and the sauce was just right. The shrimp was a little overcooked but that was ok with me. The bad: The Crab Wontons were fried extremely hard and needed a lot more cream cheese inside of them. The soup that came with the lunch special was some sort of hot & sour soup because the ingredients were similar minus the hot & sour lol. The lunch special also came with spring rolls which were fried hard and served with duck sauce. I also found it strange that they served fried rice along side with the Pad Thai which in most places is not. All in all, this place is nothing special. I liked Gekko Sushi better. read more

Dude, this place is great. I live right down the street from this place and I'm in love. I haven't gotten much of their sushi, but I've ordered pad thai, yellow curry, and veggie rice and they have all been delicious. They are new, next to publix. The interior is really attractive, they have a great sushi bar and an outstanding selection. All I have had for sushi is the salmon roll, and it was good. The prices are a bit high, but the food and service is great, so I'll pay a bit more to go here. read more

I've spent years driving to Orlando for Thai when I had this right underneath my nose for so long! It was awesome! I had the coconut soup in Thia hot (OMG - get medium ) and it was delicious! I love pad se ew which wasnt on the menu and they made it for me. Delicious, fresh and such good service. It's more expensive compared to the smaller portions I get from Orlando, but with the gas and tolls I'm saving, I'd say I break even and it's just as good. This place is AMAZING ! A friend and I came there on a Friday night to try it out. The food was GREAT. We ordered some chicken Pad Thai and the Joey roll. The Pad Thai was honestly the best I've ever had. It had just the right amount of kick in the spicy and the Joey roll was ok but the seafood food topping was SOOO GOOD! Found that this restaurant had decent reviews and we were willing to experiment . The ambience was decent and nice service . I had Chicken Satay for appetizer and pad won sen for entree . I went to this place for takeout the other day and had a great experience. The staff was very nice and my food came out quickly. The pad thai itself was very good but I agree with the other review that the shrimp was a bit overcooked, I like it that way so it didn't bother me. The only thing I didn't like was the egg roll that came with the lunch portion but even that wasn't that bad. $8 for pad thai, soup and an egg roll, I cant complain. The sushi I had was great I think it was the double salmon roll (something like that). The fish was sliced perfectly and very fresh. The presentation wasn't all that impressive, it was very clean/minimalistic (maybe because it was in a to go box?). The most important new sushi restaurant test; did I get sick? I kept asking my daughter what's wrong are you okay in front of her and she was soooooo clueless what was happening as we pull it out of her throat! I've had lunch here a few times and each visit has been satisfying. Today we started our meal with Iced Green Tea (since it was about 100 Degrees outside) and a Spicy Tuna Roll (because...we love tuna?). I had about 5 glasses of tea and I just couldn't get enough, it was just so refreshing. The Spicy Tuna was good, but not great. We ordered their Volcano Chicken Lunch Special (fried chicken topped with garlic chili sauce) which also came with Egg Drop Soup, Spring Roll and white rice. Both the soup and roll were tasty, but the chicken was absolutely delicious. They were little bites of perfectly crispy chicken, and the sauce truly kicked it up a notch. I ordered the Ginger Duck Lunch Special (crispy duck topped with ginger sauce, onions, scallions and mushrooms) as well as the soup and spring roll. The duck was awesome, not as awesome as her chicken but I wasn't disappointed. The duck had a great flavor and texture, which like the chicken, was made even tastier by the sauce. Like our first visit, the service was perfect. They refilled our beverages immediately, checked up on us and we're just all around friendly. I'm not sure why, but on both occasions we have been the only customers they had; please give them a try so they are more likely to stay open. I'll definitely be back. read more

Not sure what happened tonight, we normally have a great experience, as we do take out. But my daughter took her mom out for a birthday dinner and dined in, after what was a good meal with so so service the waitress changed an 18% gratuity charge, which is for bigger parties. Waitress corrected, but had a sour attitude. A minimal tip was left and a restaurant employee followed us out complaining about the tip, saying "you never tip". Then we knew what happened, we are African American and she obviously mistook our daughter for another African American that dines there regularly. My daughter does not dine there. While visiting friends in Orlando area, I was craving something asian. Went there (I had gone to the location previously when it was a different named sushi place) at 9:30at night. I was the only customer in the shop. Ordered to go off the menu 3 items. The guys were friendly. seemed pleasant. I get back to the house, 2 of the 3 items were wrong. .... Now, how am I the only customer and you got 4 staff members, how do you get the order wrong 2 out of 3??? The manager taking the order repeated my order back to me. So I know it was put into the system correctly. By the time I got home, it was too late to call them. I called the next day but they open at noon and I'm driving back to miami the next day... I stopped by before getting on the turnpike... they exchanged my food (I brought back the terrible fried zucchini (in a thai place????) that I didn't order. They gave me back the right items. But no items to compensate for me wasting an hour for the extra trip to get something that I should have gotten the first time. I didn't ask for anything. But would have been good PR for them to offer. The food was ok.... the fried tofu was actually very good. But the pad thai leaves something to be desired. I can forgive fluctuations in food quality.
