I came here two days ago to get my eyebrows threaded, was not very happy with the outcome of my eyebrows but knew that in order for them to be fixed the lady would need to thin my brows out so I just left it alone. Fast forward to two days later and I have a serious infection from the lack of sanitation. I'm in soo much pain and so embarrassed by the way I look. I keep telling Amy that I'm letting my eyebrows grow out, and she insist on removing the hairs that I was trying to make my new outline with. Then I tell her that the last 3 times, she's been leaving me blotter bald spots at the beginning of my eyebrow shape. Today I tell her not to touch that section, and when I get home and take a close look in the mirror, guess what, a little bald spot is there! I've been coming here since I was in high school. I came here because the place I normally go to moved and it's been seriously so hard to bring myself to drive there in order to get threading on my eyebrows. So, you can imagine how FREAKING happy I was to finally find a place open near my house! Thanks Yelp! At first, I was tempted to give this place 4 or even 3 stars because... well... it's $8! I never pay more than $5 or 6 for my normal threading. The last time I paid $8 or more for threading was that damned Ziba Beauty place that jacked up my eyebrows. Or in Riverside where... there's literally only one threading salon. But honestly, I felt it was well-worth the $8. Unlike my normal threading place (which charges $6), this place is a LOT cleaner and nicer. In addition, besides the super friendly staff, I LOVED how the... threadist? (what do you call them?), asked me how I wanted my brows - if I wanted them thinner, or thicker, and etc. I loved that because everytime I go get my eyebrows threaded at other places it's always a hit or miss. They'll definitley clean up all the fur around my eyes, but they don't spend as much time shaping it or even bothering to ask me how I'd like it. I can definitely feel like the person who did my eyebrows put a lot of effort into it - ie. trimming afterwards, and re-threading to fix some loose hairs. The results were very clean and well-shaped eyebrows that I haven't had in a long time from the other places I go to. The only downside I could think of is that there was quite a line when I went. There were only 2 ladies doing threading, and there were at least 4 or 5 people ahead of me. Fortunately, the girl at the counter was sweet enough to let me go shopping for a bit and then come back with my place in line. So, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this place if you like threading as much as I do. read more

The lady at the front desk just blantantly lied to me about me being able to use my free eyebrow code. Every 9 visits you get a free eyebrow threading, I saw on their iPad screen behind their desk that it said my code expires in 5 months but they tried to tell me it expired 3 months ago. It sounds corny but I was actually in disbelief. Only reason why I came to this salon today was because I knew I had the free eyebrow code or else I would have went to my original salon. I wasn't going to ruin my day and theirs by arguing with them so I just paid and got the hell out of there. I barely got the notification about me being able to use the code around maybe a month or so ago? This place was always my 2nd choice anyways. Only time I'd go here is when my eyebrow threading salon was closed, but I guess I'm going to have to find a new back up salon hahah. read more

Holy-freakin-cow!!! This place is beyond amazing!!! As a girl who would only go to the Benefit Brow Bars located in Ulta or department stores - this place is beyond my expectations and may I say, even better! The Benefit Brow Bars cost a ripping $20 only for the eyebrows + it is not including tip! This place is only $8!! Can you say steal?!?!? After having a horrific experience at a recent Ulta location, I ran to the nearest highest rated yelp eyebrow salon. Boy were the yelpers right on point! My lady's name was SABI. All the yelpers recommended a lady named Niru but she wasn't available. But after my experience with Sabi....Niru who?? Lol anyway, she didn't speak very much but omg was she thorough, polite, and swift. No wait, clean store, and incredible prices! This is definitely my new go-to place! I am one of those people that usually goes to the overpriced Ziba, simply because there are so many of them, the service is VERY consistent in my experience, and to be honest, habit more than anything else. So on Memorial day, when Ziba was closed I tried out this little joint. 2 ladies working and 2 ladies waiting. About 10 minutes later, I was sitting in the chair breathing nervously, waiting to see if I made a big mistake going out of my comfort zone. 5 minutes later, with virtually no pain . . . I took a look in the mirror and VOILA! The eyebrows were done great and I make my way over to pay to find out it cost only 8 dollars! Weeeeeeeeee! This might just be my new eyebrow place. I am not usually the person that requests a certain artist, so I guess only time will tell if service is consistent! Will update! read more

Before my trip to Sutra, I had never had my eyebrows or my upper lip threaded. Because of an upcoming family wedding I needed to do something FAST! I was so impressed with Sutra's clean and tidy salon. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. And Punam (I think that was her name) was amazing...and so patient. I highly recommend this threading salon! I'm so sad that I won't be able to come back a regular basis for upkeep. I have gotten my eye brows threaded from few ladies, and they all do a very nice job. There is especially this one lady.. she's very good at shaping. I totally forgot her name, but this is the place to go for eyebrow threading. PRICE: It is $8, pretty much like everywhere else. My favorite part is when they put on lotion for you. First time getting an eyebrow thread ($8) and had a great experience! I went there right when they opened at 11 AM on Sunday and there was no wait at all. Their check-in procedure was very quick and efficient. Sophie did the threading for me and she was so quick and precise. I have been a loyal fan of Zeba. However, I can't always get to the mall when my brows need some tending to. I needed somewhere close to work I can go to during my lunch or after work... I've been a loyal customer for years after many bad threading experiences. In fact, after going away for college I still make sure to grow my eyebrows out to get them done at Sutra as soon as I came home. Yesterday I had a fantastic threading job done (probably the best ever) from a younger employee....I'm usually hesitant to have a younger employee thread for me (just based on experience), but she did a wonderful job. I've never left Sutra disappointed. If you have anything you'd like them to tweak, they'll do it, and I always leave satisfied. read more

Took my sisters here on a Sunday afternoon to get some brow work, the estimated wait time was about 6 minutes, we only waited about two. Service was speedy but efficient, and this place gives you the massage after threading! Definitely will be returning. read more

This place is quickly falling into the used to be decent but now they suck" category. The customer service is horrible - the last two times I've been there I was treated like I owed them something - what I wanted was glossed over by what stylist thought I should have - i asked her to fix a uneven brow and was given attitude because it was so close to closing time. Register slammed, pen tapped and receipt slapped on the counter when I didn't leave a tip - sorry lady -the only tip you deserve is to provide better customer service. So this was my first time but this is needs a review already. I have had waxing an threading here. Be very aware and make sure the person washes there hands before they touch you and don't get the wax. I am broken out everywhere she touched me. I'm not even sensitive. My upper lip threaded and I was broken out. I even got the back of my neck waxed and it's the worse. I've never had backne or even a pimple ever on my back and yet this completly covers my neck none on my back just on my neck which is totally gross. I've never had before so I'm completely grossed/freaked out. Considering I don't break out the only conclusion is who else touched me on these areas....Here! Great eyebrow threading by four different women I've been done by over there. But don't lose your stamp card! (you get a free service after you get to 10 or something). I had two because I lost it one time. I asked Sandy if she could just put all the stamps on one card and throw the other away. But nooooo. I may sound like I'm overreacting but, it's a pretty simple thing to do for a customer and I thought it was very stingy and annoying they couldn't just do that. It's enough to irk me and take my business elsewhere. Ziba's is just as good or better and there's plenty of those nearby. read more

It's clean and the ladies are very friendly, but the woman who did my brows had a rough technique. She put so much force into the thread that it snapped several times upon each movement. Needless to say, it was very painful, and this isn't my first time getting my brows threaded.The skin around my eyebrows still hurt and I got them done 9 hours ago. Worst of all, my brows came out way too thin. The shape isn't bad, but I'm devastated how they look. They don't match my face AT ALL. I think you can get good brows here, but make sure to pick the right lady. I also learned my lesson the hard way: ALWAYS, whether you're at Sutra or another salon, remind the person doing your eyebrows in advance not to do your eyebrows too thinly (unless you're into that, of course). Don't cry and moan until it's too late, where you have to wait a month for your brows to grow back. read more

I was a devoted customer here for over two years. It was convenient because I live so close to here I could walk!! Anyways, everytime I came here which was at least twice a month I felt like the ladies were annoyed with me. They were very short , cold, and unwelcoming. My eyebrows always were too thin after many times of just telling them only to clean it up! So I got irritated about 3 months ago I quit going and now I go to OC threading in Buena Park! Ugh. I miss this place. I live in Eastvale and it's hard to find decent eyebrow threading. I used to go to a place in Mira Loma called Pura and it was horrible. I stopped going there for good. Then when I used to be in La Habra I discovered this place and loved it. Wonderful customer service and I haven't had a problem yet. Definitely worth checking out. They have a stamp card program which I love and they even give you a nice message after they thread your eyebrows. read more
