I offered that I was having pain elsewhere in my body that was compensating for the injury, info with which he agreed. I was put on a six-week program, two 45 minute sessions per week with electronic stimulation and massage to relax the muscles that were affected; light exercises if I had no pain. The physical therapy helped me not to further injury my shoulder while it healed; alternatively, I would need surgery and follow-up PT. Feel pampered when I leave There is an indoor above-ground heated pool The reason I didn't give it five stars is because it needs renovation.

It was absolutely horrible. It was like living a nightmare. My mother continued to worsen once she was there. They moved her from one room to another because of Covid. Fortunately enough, she did not get Covid while she was there. But people would ring their bells and nobody would show up. One morning she rang hers and they did not come for over three hours. when I got there, I told her to press her button. I was there every day and they even knew that I was in the room. When the button was pressed, they did not come, 45 minutes later I went out to the desk and asked what the problem was. They told me they were understaffed. i'm sorry but when somebody is in a place like this, they need care and they need good care. My mother was also in a Hoyer lift and needed to be out of bed at least twice a day. She got lifted out of bed once the two weeks that she was there. Fortunately enough, I was able to get her out of there and sent her to Davis. Which was absolutely amazing. I would not send my dog to Cottonwood postacute. if you have a loved one, please please please do not send them there. I was scared to leave her every day. I saw fear in her eyes and did not like that. The only reason she was there for two weeks is it took me a while to get her transferred to Davis. Again pleased do not send your loved one there.

Berger called the day before my first appointment to reschedule for about two weeks out because they paired me with a PT instead of a hand specialist. Less than 24 hours before my new appointment, they called to move my time forward by 20 minutes because an error was made on timing. I returned their call with a message saying I agreed to the new time. About 20 minutes later, they leave a message saying they have to reschedule me for the following week because the specialist they paired me with doesn't take my insurance. At that point, I was done...but apparently they weren't; They sent me a text and email the next morning saying I missed my appointment (the one they had canceled!). Needless to say, I'll be returning to Crux.

That was from October 2023. I have been getting epidurals in my back and I am now back to therapy with Ashley since this month for helping my back and to help with my balance I love this place, it is very comfortable to go into and everyone is very helpful. Kay at the desk is on top of everything that is going on , If you need therapy... this IS the place to go. Not like any place you have been at least in the Yuba City area. Judy Reynolds
