I had the worst PT experience ever at Burger in Woodland yesterday. The timing of my appointment…read morewas scrambled for starters, plus I was ignored at the desk. The online info I completed in advance wasn't available to the office staff: "we don't have access to that portal ". When the PT finally got to me for my evaluation, she refused to look at all the paperwork, saying it was meaningless. Her manner was sanctimonious and distant. I tried very hard to ignore this. When we finally got into her proposing exercises to help me, she said she did have time to show me everything because my appointment was cutting into her lunch time and she was hungry. She printed the instructions and walked off. As she was a 'traveling' therapist, I asked the desk, who would I see next time? The response, whoever is available. No thanks!

Fabulous place to bring your child for up to date therapy through play!! The therapist are loving,…read moregentle and at all times professional. Appointments are quick to meet the needs of the clients. The office staff work with the parents to meet financial needs and to ease the stress of the parents. Not many places you would see the Executive Director sitting on the floor playing with the children, but you will see that at CTC. I have witnessed children carried through the doors and after getting Therapy at CTC, I have seen those same children WALK back out those doors! I have seen mothers cry because after sessions of Speech Therapy they heard their child the first time say "I love you mama". That's priceless and that's what CTC helps happen all the time!!

My daughter regressed during treatment & the team actually recommended cutting her treatment hours! The speech therapist decided she didn't want to work with my 2 year old anymore after we nicely requested she use a more play based approach rather than forcing our toddler to operate toys while crying, (how is that speech therapy?) These people are beyond unprofessional. When our older child received therapy here, there was some miscommunication w/ our insurance concerning coverage. They didn't realize this for months and we ended up accruing a sizable debt- which was no fault of ours. They hounded and harassed us to no end - although we were making regular payments. I would steer far away from this place. Their vision is great, but the way they are treating clients is horrible. In my experience with quite a few therapy centers this is the ONLY place we have ever been treated so badly. I makes me so sad that we wasted almost a year and half of my daughter's crucial early intervention period with this place. Never again

The doctors are so knowledgeable, patient and right on target with their first treatment. They know exactly where you need the adjusting and therapy. It was absolutely horrible. It was like living a nightmare. My mother continued to worsen once she was there. They moved her from one room to another because of Covid. Fortunately enough, she did not get Covid while she was there. But people would ring their bells and nobody would show up. One morning she rang hers and they did not come for over three hours. when I got there, I told her to press her button. I was there every day and they even knew that I was in the room. When the button was pressed, they did not come, 45 minutes later I went out to the desk and asked what the problem was. They told me they were understaffed. i'm sorry but when somebody is in a place like this, they need care and they need good care. My mother was also in a Hoyer lift and needed to be out of bed at least twice a day. She got lifted out of bed once the two weeks that she was there. Fortunately enough, I was able to get her out of there and sent her to Davis. Which was absolutely amazing. I would not send my dog to Cottonwood postacute. if you have a loved one, please please please do not send them there. I was scared to leave her every day. I saw fear in her eyes and did not like that. The only reason she was there for two weeks is it took me a while to get her transferred to Davis. Again pleased do not send your loved one there.

Continued blood infections and bedsore wounds were some of the worst his doctor at the hospital had seen, she thought he had been bed written for years they were so bad. He ended up in the VA hospital for over a year and has recovered nicely although he has permanent damage and will likely never leave the long term care facility he is in. They have high turnaround with staff leaving this clinic as well. And when I went to recover his clothing and personal belongings including his wallet, they had thrown it out without any call to family. After I threatened to report them they miraculously came up with his wallet and sack bag but confirmed everything else was thrown out. Don't send anyone you care for here!

I immediately stopped the appointments and chose a different PT office. The PT staff seems fairly competent although they also seem a bit disorganized. I'm glad I made a change. I agree with another review, they don't return phone calls. Then when you go into the office, the two front office clerks are reclining in their chairs casually talking with another staff member. They really should be on the phone returning phone calls.
