Was referred by a doctor at San Mateo Urgent Care to come here for my further medical needs. Got here to see a PA regarding a pinched nerve in my neck that affected excruciating pain from back of my shoulder blade and down my whole left arm down to the top of my thumb. Prescribed 2 medications . The meds were amazing and eliminated 75% of the throbbing pain. What i noticed, was everyone is so friendly and pleasant to talk to. They speak slow and clear and very patient and polite. There is a nice garden on the first level. I think i have to visit all the departments. Since i haven't seen a doctor after my PCP retired last year. So hard to find a doctor who will accept new patients. I definitely recommend Sutter Health in Mountain View. Swung by after work (about 7pm) because I was feeling asthmatic for a few weeks with no changes after using a couple of inhalers and I was worried I was getting another lung infection. They offered to have a nurse run some tests, which was a bit concerning enough for them to have a provider see me. When I saw them, the doctor was very concerned with my symptoms especially after they learned that I had a bad lung infection last year that sent me to the hospital. They ended up checking vitals and breathing patterns and later recommended a few antibiotics and a couple of new inhalers to help and told me that if things don't get better, to make sure to come back. The whole process from start to finish wasn't too long, but I was told the place was closed because of some weird scheduling thing? Overall, I'm happy with my visit tonight. I'm also glad my insurance was able to cover my visit as well. All the staff here were very helpful and kind and got me out the door in a small amount of time. Sutter Health Urgent Care was good. I arrived with a Blood Glucose Level of 334 mg/dL, which is way too high. Should be 150 mg/dL or less. Clinic was not crowded and I was seen by medical staff about 20 minutes after I arrived. They took my vitals, including a blood glucose level test to see how high my blood glucose levels were. The doctor who saw me had many patients in front of me to be examined. I waited in a treatment room for about 2 and a half hours when the doctor came into the examination room. My electrolytes were checked and the results were good. The doctor is going to refer me to a Nutritionist to help me plan healthy meals for diabetes. Had to wait for an additional 1 hour for urine and blood tests. After that, I was released from the Urgent Care Center, and went home. read more

The walk-in experience at urgent care is not good. All they care about is the money. Nobody is in a rush. If you are here for something super minor, I'm sure they are fine, but if there is something actually wrong with you (especially after hours or during the weekend), go to El Camino Hospital or Stanford or Valley Medical Center or anywhere else (chances are they will send you there anyway). And the time we went here with a life-threatening emergency, they told me we were better off driving to the ER ourselves rather than having them transport us. I saw Dr Jung at 8:20 so I didn't have to wait long and was out of there by 8:30 with a diagnoses and an AVS - After Visit Summary so I can read what the diagnosis was and how to care for it. Didn't really like my experience there with the doctor who treated me for my breathing difficulty. She seemed to have a different protocol for treating and diagnosing me compared to what I'm used to as a standard of care at other urgent care facilities. Somehow she just came off as the end all be all , and spacy . There was also fresh blood on the chair that patients had to sit on to get their initial check in screenings for, but that wasn't so bad to me because the nurses just didn't notice it . What was bad to me was the doctor, as I just felt overall like I had to question her judgment in my mind the entire time... and that's not good for the patient nor her . Horrible visit today , unfortunately since normally love this place ..... okay changing this from horrible to okay. The reason for the first part was came in , no masks available front desk and basically you are a criminal without one. Go to give lab work and in line 20 min , everyone taking their time and the appointment line is helped first. Okay with that but only one person check in , then cross off or walk-in never makes it Honestly , the staff being less than friendly at a hospital really impacts patients. People don't like blood draws , which I was there for and then I go in to get the needle and im already not so happy. Anyway , why to okay , although seemed mad to be working on a Sunday. This review is for the receptionist/front desk (female) working on Sunday, 1/28/2024 at 5pm. We searched online and went to this place as it's shown as "in network" online. We did not know it does not accept our insurance until today even though it's within the network online and the receptionist should have informed us upfront when we gave her the insurance card to run before giving us the service! We went back the urgent care today to ask for the receptionist's name so we can file a complaint online and the person refused to give out any name. We tried to call the corporate/billing department regarding the issue and there is nothing else they can do besides doing internal investigation without any case number PLEASE TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEE PROPERLY! I had an excellent experience at the Sutter Health Urgent Care Center. I was unable to get an appointment with my primary care doctor in a timely way, so I went to Urgent Care. Jack Zhang at the front desk was very professional, compassionate, discreet. Perhaps it was the nature of what I was there for, but they took me within minutes of my arrival. The assistant who took my vitals was also very professional and reassuring. Dr Mai-Tram Le was everything I could hope for in a doctor. She was knowledgeable, efficient, humorous, but most of all, she treated me with dignity and respect. She ordered appropriate tests, and put a rush on them. Several days later when all test results were in, I had a follow-up appointment. Jack Zhang was again a great representative for Sutter Health, and he even remembered me. Again, I was taken quickly, this time within 10 minutes of arriving. Dr Le patiently went over the results, and fortunately, I was already on the mend. What impressed me was that she had read the results before we met, and if they had been different, she was ready to move quickly to next steps, even though it was a weekend. High marks for this Urgent Care Center. read more

Pediatric urgent care has been amazing in caring for my son with pneumonia. Dr. Sang Nguyen went above and beyond in his care. He even called (on his day off) to find out how my son was healing 2 days after he'd seen him. When my son needed to return to urgent care, we asked for Dr. Nguyen specifically, and he gave excellent, compassionate, thoughtful care. We have always received the best care at Sutter pediatric urgent care, but Dr. Nguyen took it to the next level. I wish he could be my son's primary care physician, but he is well-suited to urgent/critical cases. read more

I cannot imagine how unprofessional this place is. Mom got Covid and I brought her there to seek medical treatment. She is over 70 and is qualified for antiviral medication. The answer we got after back and forth twice and one hour wait is that she is not qualified for Paxlovid because of her current medication. The PA did not mention anything about Molnupiravir (Lagevrio), which does not have interaction with any of her medications. I even asked the PA if there are any other medications available for my mom. I need to visit a different doctor to learn about this different antiviral medication two days later while my mom coughs painfully for two nights. This is ridiculous. I looked on Healthcare Bluebook and the highest range for urgent care prices in Mountain View they quote is only $306! My insurance says this is their negotiated rate, so maybe I have crappy insurance, but honestly save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere that doesn't try to bankrupt their patients. I received an email from My Health Support instructing me to visit any Sutter facility to verify identity in order to set up an My Health account for my son. When I was at Sutter Health Mountain View around 4:40pm Oct 31st 2024, I came to the pediatric office, showed the email and asked if they could help me to verify identity for My Health set up. There was a young lady at the front desk, whom I believe is named Maya, she told me her name but did not show her name, so I might misspelling her name. She told me that she did not handle identity verification, she handed me My Health Support card and told me to contact My Health instead. I asked her if she knows anybody else there can help me, she said she had no idea. She appeared impatient, unwilling to help me. She did not even ask my information, so she can look up on the system. She just read the email then went straight to tell me that she does not do ID verification. When I was about to give up and leave, I came to the family medicine office to ask as a last resort hoping that they can help me. It turn out, the lady at family medicine was willing to help me. She even asked me why I did not ask the pediatric office as it is about my son's account and she was surprised that the lady at pediatric office could not assist me. When I returned to the pediatric office to ask for the name of the lady (Maya) that was unbothered to help me. She displayed an unhelpful attitude, claiming she was unavailable and refused to provide her name. A lady sat next to her told me she can help me, then I said I want to make a feedback and I need that lady's name so I can file a complaint. That lady told me that Maya did not feel comfortable to give me her name, she told me to call Patient Relations if I want to make a complaint, then I said how can I make a complaint without knowing her name. When Maya heard my conversation with the other lady that Maya seemed unwilling to help me, she interrupted and insisted that she had done her best to help me, explaining that she did handed me My Health Support card to contact, she explained that maybe she just started here and does not have much knowledge like the lady that help me at Family Medicine office, but her explanation is unacceptable. How do I need My Health contact when I already have their email with me? Maya's attitude was far different from the helpful staff at Family Medicine. If she truly wanted to assist me but lacked knowledge, she could have sought help from someone else rather than making excuses and being dismissive. read more

I came to this urgent care last week for an embarrassing yet painful situation. So far, I have seen three different doctors at this clinic and everyone has been very caring and helpful. The wait time to see a doctor wasn't nearly as long as I was expecting. On my initial visit, I saw Dr. Jung, and he was very professional and provided a quick and accurate diagnosis. After leaving, I was already starting to feel better. I have had two follow up appointments with Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Vosti, who were both very friendly with excellent bedside manners. Yikes! With all these negative reviews, it would seem, based on my experience, those reviewers all wrote about the wrong place! But they're entitled to their opinion I guess. I've been a patient of PAMF Mountain View since 2010 after I turned 18 and aged out of the pediatric system from the good doctors over at Altos Pediatric Associates. My general doctor and every other doctor of the various specialties whom I've seen are all located in PAMF Mountain View, along with this urgent care center. My experiences with the aforementioned doctors have been excellent. Despite having lived in San Francisco and not spending too much time in the South Bay (where i grew up), I still haul my wobbly ass down here no matter what my medical needs may be (unless it's an emergency) as the doctors and the treatment have been top-notch. (Billing, OTOH, is a different story.) I figured that if, one day, I'd have to pay a visit to the urgent care center here, the doctors and treatment would be of the same caliber, if not better. This morning, that's exactly what happened. Long story short, I lost a fight with an aluminum can and sliced my right hand open, right where the pinky finger meets the hand. It was bleeding pretty good, though not profusely with blood everywhere. As I was in the South Bay at the time, I hitched a ride here as fast as I could. Upon arriving, there was no one else in the waiting room, and there were several employees at the desks up front waiting to check folks, like myself, in. I gave the lady I spoke to a short summary of what happened with my hand, handed over my insurance card to verify it matched what they already had in the system, confirmed I had no Covid symptoms (nor had I been around anyone who did) and then had a seat and waited to be called in. Once I was called in, a nurse brought me into an examination/operating room, took my vitals and verified some more of my personal information in the system. Another nurse came in and got me all prepped for the doctor who would see me shortly. A few minutes later, Dr. Vosti entered and got right down to business. She was excellent. She had a really upbeat, jovial personality and ensured that I'd be in good hands while she stitched my hand up. It took approx. five minutes to anesthetize, suture and bandage my hand. After the procedure was over, she confirmed that I would not need a tetanus shot as my last one during a physical in September 2021 would still keep me inoculated. The last thing she did was hand me a piece of paper to take to the front desk to schedule my appointment to return for the stitches to be removed in a week or so. Overall, my experience at PAMF Mountain View's urgent care was terrific. I was checked-in quickly, tended to by two great nurses and a great doctor and, most importantly, my hand is all stitched up and slowly healing. If you're nearby and already a PAMF patient, I'd highly suggest to stop by here if you need any urgent treatment. Hopefully, you'll get Dr. Vosti too! 5 stars all the way read more

My best advice is to try not to ever get sick or require medical attention because going to urgent care will lead to you sitting in cold waiting room for several hours while they tell you they can't predict when you might get seen. Today we have been "The next patient to be called back", after waiting more than two hours, for the past forty minutes. Whenever me or my family members need urgent care, we drive to this Mountain View location. Once I had severe chest cold, I was seen right away and got all my Xray done and the medication prescribed; on another occasion I had abdominal pain and dehydration, I got the IV, all the blood tests and CT scan done to identify the problem. I am feeling much better after the IV and medication. I have always had a great experience with the doctors here, and appreciate the care I have received here. read more

Receptionists are incapable of the simplest task. And they lie. And they hang up on you. This has all happened to me many, many times. The doctors are rude and incompetent and sometimes flat out refuse to do their jobs. They contradict themselves, they argue, it's a nightmare. Avoid this place like the plague. The wait times here are outrageous: the website said 30-50 minutes. When I arrived 15 minutes later, I was told 2-2.5 hours. The website now says 1 hour to 1:20. A few people came in during that time and the wait time went to 4 hours, and they told some people "you have to wait here," and others "you can come back around 1." I made an appointment with another urgent care clinic and left. They claim "staffing shortage," but they've been saying this for years. So either they don't hire people or can't keep them. I won't be coming back. My primary care doctor at this organization is also not great: not detail oriented and that's very frustrating. I actually had a great experience here, up until I walked in on Dr. Mai Tran Le very loudly talking about me to the staff. Essentially she thought I was ridiculous because I hadn't brought up to her that I might be pregnant before an x-ray. If only she had asked me like the medical assistant, Sonia, who did my patient intake, had asked me. Or perhaps the notes could be reviewed. Either way, the technician asked me and I told him the same thing I told the MA, which was maybe. He asked if I wanted to do a pregnancy test just to be safe. I said sure. Test was negative so we went forward with the X-ray. Ya know, it's not great to call your patients stupid, but if you're going to do it, maybe don't do it out in the open while they're still in the room next to you? She had just discharged me and I walked out a few seconds after her. I guess she expected me to take a lot longer. Her back was to me when she was loudly talking about me and I listened with my boyfriend for a bit before she realized I was there because the staff looked at me and got really quiet. I thanked her as we left, but she quickly walked away and wouldn't look me in the eye. If you make a mistake, own up to it. As a medical professional you have a duty to integrity and bedside manner. An immediate apology (with eye contact) would have prevented me writing this review. We're human and make mistakes. But to not even apologize to a patient you have been rude to is shameful for a medical professional. I expect that behavior from high schoolers, not my doctor. We will not be coming back. I went here to get my wound bandage changed that's all they had to do and clean it up, the doctor cleaned it up and put bandage on it but did a terrible job first of all it's on the back of my neck into my hair. So she goes all crazy on the Tape but does not cover the top of the wound so my husband had to fix it when we got home. Next day time to change bandage she did not even try to lift up any of my hair just taped the hell Out of it so it take me like 45 mins just pull my hair out of the tape.I did not want to leave a bad review but this was very painful and when I went only one other person was there. And for the staff that sit at the desk you have the mask on and we have been checked at the door so I don't think we should have to stand ten feet from the desk to yell our info to you! Ok, so i just came in to have my cough looked at, when I suddenly passed out! The staff at Urgent Care were so exemplary efficient that i knew i was in good competent hands! I came to this urgent care for ear problem on 4/3/2022. They thought I had Covid because I had a cough even I told them I have chronic cough. After a rude nurse checked my blood pressure outside she sent me to see Dr. Kavita M Reddy, MD. I told her that my ear might have infection. She didn't check my ear properly & she said I didn't have infection... I visited ENT Dr today & Dr found out I have ear infection with a hole in my eardrum. This should be evaluated per the standards of urgent care. As such, my experience was not bad: 45 minutes wait (they can call you, so no need to sit in the waiting room), easy and free parking nearby, 15 minutes more wait for a doctor in the patient room, a doctor who listened to me and resolved my issue. Sutter system in general is bloody expensive, of course, so I hereby reserve the right to lower the rating once I get the bill. read more

ZERO STARS! I was in severe pain with food poisoning. The intake person did not know how to run my health insurance card. They never picked up their phone when my insurance tried to contact them. I tried to go back in again to inform the intake person how to run my health insurance card correctly but was forcefully denied entry. Then they let me wait a long time outside in the cold weather. After I was finally seen I informed the doctor about another food poison occurrence I had 2 years ago. I showed her the diagnosis and the medication prescribed. She ignored the information. I asked for something for my pain and said to take Tylenol. I asked for some and she told me I can buy some at the drug store. I told her that I had no car here because I was on a business trip. She did not care. I was dismissed without a diagnosis, medication and treatment! read more

This was my first experience in urgent care, and I'm very pleased with the overall experience I had here! Although I'm sure it was due to the nature of my issue, I was seen pretty much immediately after checking in. My doctor was very thorough and ordered a lot of tests, which made me feel like they were covering all the bases to correctly find a diagnosis. All testing results came back very quickly so they're super efficient with their processes! I would definitely trust this place with any of my future urgent care needs. My only feedback would be that testing and imaging rooms can be a bit of a far walk for someone who is in pain or severe discomfort because the testing areas are in the main building attached to the UC. It was tolerable for me, but if someone was in a more severe situation, it would be a tough walk. read more
