On the day before Thanksgiving, Conrad arrived less than one hour from me opening a home warranty claim. He quickly confirmed that my 75 gallon water heater needed to be replaced. We discussed the challenges of my installation and we agreed that the new one would not be in place until the end of day Monday. This was disappointing but understandable due to the holiday. Also, I was nervous because I was leaving town Friday morning and would not be there for any additional issues (there usually are issues). Conrad pleasantly surprised us when he called on Friday and set up to install it that day. The entire NOLA area experienced low temps in the 50's that weekend and the early install kept my wife from having to choose between bathing in cold water or travelling to impose on relatives. I returned a week later to find the new unit installed EXACTLY as we discussed. WARNING: If you have a home warranty... My only complaint is with the warranty company. I have two contracts with them - one for me and one for my disabled sister. Each home has needed a water heater this year. Regardless of their size (my sister's was a 50 gallon unit), the cost to me was over $500 for each - $75 copay plus $460 for non-covered expenses. I priced the extra parts used for my job at Home Depot and they totaled less than $30 including tax. This is a flat fee imposed by the warranty company. THIS ROBBERY IS NOT CONRAD'S FAULT. So I searched for someone with availability even taking a video of the issue to assist with diagnosing what was necessary to stop it. Julius was responsive and there's a website form to request service as well. I called and after hearing the voicemail requesting you fill out the form online, I did so and he called back in minutes. He said he'd try to get out same day if he had cancellations or the next day for sure which is the reason I didn't call around to anyone else. Then, at the end of the day, he messaged to say he'd be there the following day. I acknowledged receipt and asked him to give me a call once he was in route. After the morning passed and he hadn't contacted me, I called and he made over in 30 minutes and said it'd cost about $200-300. $200 if repaired, $300 if replaced. He was able to address the issue and accepted Venmo or CashApp. All in all a good experience.

Spilled lots of water on my wood floors with sediment in it and got black grease handprints on my walls. Drained the water into my bath tub and left a ton of sand (?) or sediment and soaked the entire bathroom floor. Then they just left my bath mats sitting there soaked and left all the sand in the tub. Did not set the hot water heater temp so I had to do that. Workers were decent and they got the job done. This was the company my home warranty insurance used. They got the job done, but I personally would not have left a job in such a mess.
