I usually lift or do yoga and had tried pilates twice before and had been unimpressed. That was before I had a one-on-one session with Linda at Urban. She is a fantastic coach. She clearly has a deep understanding of the discipline and is an excellent motivator. The session was perfectly tailored to my goals -- strenuous and focused on core strength and mobility. Now I get why people swear by pilates. Highly recommend trying this place out.

The location can be a bit confusing to find if you are unfamiliar with the area, as its located in the back of the Tannery Row building (but the GPS brings you to the front). Thankfully, when texting with the studio regarding my appointment, they informed me that they are located in the back and this made things easier. I signed up for the introductory Private Pilates Package which allows me 5 Private Pilates sessions for $200. I have never taken a Pilates class in my life, so I was a bit nervous and intimidated. My instructor, Josee, was very warm, welcoming and explained everything we were doing in detail. The studio itself is really nice as well. It is spacious, open and has several different rooms for the various classes. They offer Yoga (aerial, prenatal, etc), Kettlebell, Pilates and more. I love the ease of being able to book classes online or through the app. I'm excited for my next class!

I suffer from an autoimmune disease and deal with chronic inflammation. While I take meds and have regular appointments with a rheumatologist, yoga is the only thing that truly makes me feel better, so I was desperate to find a new home studio. Once everything started opening up, I tried various other studios, but none of them felt right. They all seemed focused on what I call "trendy yoga" . But then I found Breathe. I started following them on Instagram to get a feeling about their practice. Finally I took the plunge and signed up for the new student package. After 3 weeks, I became a full member. The Breathe staff passionately believes that we are students of our bodies, and that mantra shines through in every class. I feel like I've found my practice again.... And that feeling is terrific.

It's the first studio I've ever visited where the instructors make an effort to remember your name the very first time you show up to one of their classes. One is a woman and the other is the other owner... Craig the hubby :) He is fun and engaging. He makes learning CrossFit fun for the kids. I have one son who is all into activities like these. I have a daughter who is a little over weight, reason we are here, and hates stuff like this; however, she loves this place. They both do!! People here are friendly, fun and serious about their journey. They are great with teaching the kids proper form which was my main concern! And keeping it engaging. Secretly I'm kinda watching the adults too! Their program with their fun coach seems pretty solid also. Love this place. As long as the hours and days work with ours, we will be here for a very long time. Parking is right outside and plentiful! We pay one price which allows us to come 3 times a week!

A gym member pointed at us and told the coach we may need help then she finally turned back around to address us. The vibe was very stuck up and not welcoming. We decided to try the free workout since we were already there. But to top off the bad experiences, the coach (don't remember her name but she was an older woman with short dark hair) was all over my husband l. Kept following him to speak to make convo and giving him extra attention. Pretty shameless and unprofessional. We both felt extremely uncomfortable. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the workout was actually good.

I first visited The Anubhuti in March of 2018 for a reiki session. Tulsi spent a lot of time…read moretalking to me before and after the session. I have experienced several reiki practitioners before Tulsi, and none of them spent as much time with me outside the actual reiki session. After being unhappy with failed attempts at traditional therapists, I decided this past January to reach out to Tulsi for her life coaching services. I wanted someone that I felt like spoke "my language," and I have found that with Tulsi. She understands the mind, body, spirit connection. So far, I have had 7 sessions with her that have been specifically designed for my needs. These sessions have included meditation, hypnotherapy, coaching, and reiki. Again, the thing that stands out to me the most about Tulsi is the amount of time she spends with me during each session. She also follows up each session with an email detailing the things we discussed and how I can further my healing on my own time. Tulsi thinks about all of the small things. She gives me the tools I need to continue my therapy at home. I have spent many years trying to gain emotional and mental stability through traditional therapy and prescription drugs. I have found that I feel a hundred times better using more holistic methods. Tulsi's spirit is warm and inviting and is is obvious that her work is her soul's passion. She puts in so much positive energy into every small detail.
