They opened up their doors and got me right in. My back was killing me and I really need some lower back work. The masseuse was so attentive and very focused on getting the knots out. I took a 60 minute session and could not be more happy. My back felt like new and my pain had disappeared. The lady I spoke with told me that I couldn't use the gift certificate because it expired. On the gift certificate it doesn't say an expiration date. They're breaking the law by not honoring it. Public law 111-209 states that gift cards cannot expire within five years from the date they were activated or purchased. This is called the credit card, accountability, responsibility and disclosure act in 2009. In 2012, New York actually says that there are no expiration dates unless they were issued for promotional purposes without any value.

In order to plug in the heaters, they unplugged the thing that warms the oil. So now the massage oil is also cold. We should've walked out...But we didn't. The ceiling tiles are falling down and the towels are dirty. The bathroom is gross. I had to ask for new towels and they were short to boot. I am only 5'4" and it was NOT long enough to cover my torso to my feet so they were freezing. No towel rolled up under the ankles to support the feet and they didn't even massage my arms nor head AT ALL! The massage was terrible. They just did the same "rubbing" motion throughout. Weak like they don't care. I miss the older lady that was there. She was fantastic. I think there must be new owners. Stay away. Stay away!

There is a small parking lot to the side that also is host to other business or side street. On a Sunday afternoon, we had no issue. The spa itself was tiny but warming and aesthetically pleasing. The staff are beyond friendly. Our therapists were nice, welcoming and professional. They utilized very strict draping as we undressed our upper bodies for the treatment. The rooms were immaculate. The spa itself was beyond cleanly. It was very well done. We actually didn't know what to expect as we didn't read the description and went off doing something different. It was a face massage that went into a scalp. There was a percolator going, which it wasn't, but my love of coffee made me think it was. It was a steam machine. The scalp massage turned into a space helmet of heat on your head and shoulders as your chest and arms were massaged. There were different technique and tools used when back at the scalp massage which then gave way to multiple hair washes and rinses followed by a blow dry. They used different oils as well as a car wash type rinser at one point. I could have done without so many washes but we didn't really read the description and didn't really know what we were getting. However, it was performed very well.
