Cool little touristy hot sauce shop! It's small but they did have a good variety and some cool local stuff! I got a tropical hot sauce and some buffalo ranch, the ranch wasn't local but looks amazing. It was a little pricey but I did kind of expect that. Service was good, checkout was quick and easy! Extremely friendly and helpful folks that will wrap up your purchases for plane travel. They also have a website if you want to purchase and ship home. This really a wonderful little shop in Frontier Town full of shaves that will dance all over your taste buds! I was first introduced wen living overseas and someone sent over some drawing for chicken. I fell in love at first bite! It is great for gifts with various items from sauces, to napkins with a comedic twist. For any popcorn lovers, I highly recommend the Phoenix White Cheddar Jalapeño. Love that I was able to get my hot sauce on the plane coming home from Arizona yesterday. I wasn't sure if it would make it, but it was a pretty small bottle. We flew to Arizona for a relay race but had a day to play in town and we checked out Cave Creek. Being a lover of all things spicy, I had to see what kind of hot stuff this store had. I bought the hot sauce and some popcorn (also spicy) $11.68 total. Haven't tried either yet! Prices were okay for a boutiquey location like this. Sales lady was friendly too. read more

A great Sunday ride on the Harley is Suzanne's to get some of her own custom made seasoning. Most seasonings are primarily salt, but Suzanne's is primarily chilis. It is awesome on fish, steak, you name it. Friendly staff, fun little store in CC. Head across the street for lunch and make it a short, fun ride. read more

If you're visiting Cave Creek in the Phoenix area, you must visit this store. One of the members in our group always stops in when visiting so we wanted to see what it was all about. The store is pretty tiny but there is a lot of inventory. Lots of specialty dipping and marinating sauces and great gift items. The gal working was very friendly but borderline a pushy salesperson. If you picked something up to look at, she'd instantly sell you on it. I get turned off by that so after her doing it 5 or 6 times, I didn't bother picking up anything in fear I'd get 25 reasons why I can't leave without it. In the end, we purchased a mango habanero sauce and also a few gag gifts which were great. My favorite was, "Wake The F#$@ Up Coffee". If you can get past the pushy sales antics, you'll enjoy this store. read more

This place is tiny and generally crowded, even when Frontier Town is pretty dead, and there's so much stuff crammed into the space that it's hard to look at anything. When I went here, given that I like spicy things, I was immediately drawn to the "food additive" section, the hot sauce that is so hot that for liability reasons they can't call it hot sauce, jars that contain substances with higher Scoville ratings than some pepper sprays and carry 5-point legal disclaimers. Given that I'm in the latter half of my twenties, I'd like to think that I am not easily mistakable for a young teen who might need to be supervised, so the conclusion I can draw from what followed is that if you are under the age of 40 and walk over to look at this section, you earn the woman staffing the place walking over and standing next to you and staring at you until you leave. She did somewhat explain herself, stating that if one were to accidentally drop the high-end stuff, it would be like launching tear gas into the store (great thinking for a cramped crowded location!), but still, if you don't want people looking at it, don't sell it or keep it behind the counter instead of being rude to customers. As a touristy thing to see, it's not bad to I guess, and I didn't feel like I was cheated out of the 5-10 minutes of my life I spent in here, but if you're on the fence, I wouldn't bother, and I doubt anyone would have a reason to go back a second time. If you really want anything they sell here, order it online. read more

5 stars: as good as it gets, and this place is just that. I am a huge fan of hot sauces and local businesses and Suzanne's Hot stuff is exactly where I want to put my business. The lady behind the counter is always engaging and enthusiastic, and the store is a cute boutique style shop. while I can say there is a large selection of hot sauces (and if you have an odd ball favorite you will most likely find it here) if you aren't getting their name brand sauces you are doing it wrong. IF THERE IS ONE THING YOU GET FROM THIS REVIEW, IT IS YOU MUST TRY THEIR ORIGINAL HABANERO SAUCE. It is absolutely wonderful, and in miniature amounts is less heat than you think, but with a blast of flavor. I can literally add it to anything and it will immediately increase my enjoyment factor of said dish. my favorite example, toss this sauce in with your favorite Chipotle burrito/ or bowl (use as little or much as you want) and change your Chipotle experience is forever. Honestly I have nothing but good words for this place. If you are in cave creek, stop by and at least try the habanero sauce for fun and experience Suzanne's Hot stuff. read more
