It was constructed as a partnership between a local home builder and the City of Port St Lucie. It is a passive park about 6 acres in size with two main sections. Closest to the road is a section devoted to first responders and military personnel. It features several large stars with inspiratve messages on them. The section away from the road features a large display of the solar system- featuring a scale model of the solar system with the planets positioned with the relative distance to the sun. It's actually fascinating to see the planets displayed this way and to see how far away Pluto really is. This is a beautiful, peaceful, passive park that reflects a lot a creative genius.

T-Trail will also include nature trails, the Heart of Tradition shopping plaza, and Tradition Regional Park which is currently under construction. There is so much construction in the Tradition section of Port St. Lucie. There is always something new to discover.

They are a prized game fish in Florida popular for their firm and tender flesh. Grilling is a popular cooking method but you have to take off the soapy tasting skin. In addition to the fishing dock and public art, the park also has a floating dock and kayak launch, parking lot, paved walkways with inlaid murals, benches, and a 20 foot wide gazebo. SE Cor5al Reef Park offers beautiful views of the St. Lucie River and Halpatiokee Park. I had a great time watching the osprey swoop down into the river to catch fish while I chilled with a baby alligator swimming under the bridge.

The Peacock family owned a 4,614-acre ranch in St. Lucie West. After the family home was abandoned, the St. Lucie historical society stepped in and saved the Peacock house and had it moved to Pioneer Park where you can see the restored home and learn more about the Peacock family in the nearby Port St. Lucie History Museum. This serene 100 acre park was established in 2008. The park has a 75 acre lake and surrounding natural area. Fishing and motor boating is allowed on the lake. The FWC and the City of Port St. Lucie have worked together to remove invasive plants and to restore the aquatic habitat to improve fishing in the lake. Right now there are few amenities in the park but if Port St. Lucie is awarded the Land Water Conservation Fund Grant, they plan to build by early 2027 restrooms, a large pavilion, bike racks, fencing, a nature trail around the lake, fencing, a wetlands boardwalk trail, a kayak launch area, and restore the lake bank. In the meantime this park is still a peaceful place to enjoy passive recreation.

Park amenities include seven grills, 23 picnic tables, 10 pavilions, a renovated in 2022 ADA accessible playground, 4 lighted multi-purpose ball fields with concession stand, press box, 4 lighted lacrosse fields (only for use by the Lacrosse Association), 2 lighted tennis courts, 2 lighted basketball courts, restrooms, water fountains, and disc golf. One of the most popular features of the park are the 12 pickleball courts divided by skill level. They are lighted and have live camera streaming online The trees throughout the park provide much appreciated shade and the tropical landscaping adds to the natural beauty of the nature areas. There is a little bit of parking off the street perhaps for two or three vehicles. No bike racks available. You set off towards the water along a small short trail that has local trees and vegetation native to our area with signs that explain what the trees or shrubs are. Probably about half dozen of those while you walk along the dirt path in shade until you come to the water. There you will find a small beach point maybe 8 feet wide and a nice covered table and chairs in which you can have a pick nick or just enjoy the view of the inlet over into Stuart. It is quite the view! The park is quite small and no real way to avoid it being overcrowded very quickly. If I saw a car there or people I'd move along as there really isn't much space for multiple groups. However it is well maintained and quite relaxing. I will certainly stop by again.

There is a short wood chip trail that takes you down to the St. Lucie River. A few of the trees and plants are marked along the way. There is a covered picnic table and a bench by the river and the view is nice. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but it is a pretty nature retreat for those who live in the community.

The District paid to prepare the land for construction and built the playground. In 2012, the School District allowed the lease agreement to expire and the Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department assumed maintenance responsibilities for the 28 acre property. After holding meetings with the public the city decided to turn the land into a park. Winterlakes Park opened on January 23, 2021 becoming the largest park in Port St. Lucie. Today Winterlakes Park is a well designed park with many popular recreational amenities for residents and visitors of the Winterlakes neighborhood and the Torino area. During my visit I was impressed by how much this park has to offer. There is a baseball field, covered basketball court, dog park with sections for small and large dogs, a paved exercise walkway with fitness stations, picnic pavilions with tables, pickleball court, shade covered playground, soccer field, softball field, tennis court, sand volleyball court, fishing deck on the lake, and restrooms. All of the facilities in the park are meticulously maintained and the park still looks brand new. As I walked the park on the exercise trail I noticed a summer camp using the playground, pups playing in the dog park, and a large number of people enjoying the shaded basketball court. There is so much to do in this park, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.

Located at the end of Winterlakes Park, a new community park in northern Port St. Lucie, FL. Lots of parking very close to the dog park areas, so you don't have to wander through the whole community park to find the dog area. Fences are high, and the gate lock is also high, so small children cannot get in and out at will. The parks have seating areas for pet owners, and some are under cover, so that's nice when there's a lot of sunshine. The parks seem well well-maintained and are not crowded, possibly because there isn't a lot of publicity about them yet.
