Swan Nail has SO MANY colors to choose from (I got a gel manicure) and let me tell you these nails lasted so long! Usually when I get gel they start to peel after 1.5 weeks and these didn't give me problems for I'd say 2.5 weeks? The atmosphere is warm and inviting and I want to thank Heidi for making me feel so welcome, doing an excellent job, and giving me tips on what to do in Springfield. I'd rate no stars if I could but sadly cannot. This salon is by far one of the worst that I have been to in Springfield. they messed up my nails completely having acrylic and gel covering my skin around my nails and my cuticles. the lady who did my nails cut my cuticle with one of her electric files and said absolutely nothing. all the while I'm looking at my nails while she's doing them and she's getting mad because I'm looking at them making sure they're correct which they are. They are all uneven lengths they are not shaped correctly and I am unhappy. So I call the next day mind you not saying anything while I was there because I was with other people and didn't want their nails getting messed up due to mine. I asked the gentleman who is the manager if they could fix my nails as I was not happy. I got a berated on the phone telling me that I'm young to be cool about it that this is America God bless America and just going off on random tangents that made absolutely no sense. they offered to fix them the next day if I came in but at that point I was unhappy with how I was spoken to talk down to as if I was a child so I wanted to go in and get my money back. I go back with my grandmother who is in a wheelchair mind you and proceeded to get berated again. Him telling me that they did me a service that I should have said something while I was there and it's my fault and they should have me arrested they should call the cops because I was there looking for a refund. I finally got a word in and told him I would have let them fix but how I was spoken to on the phone I didn't trust them to do so. He continued to yell at me and scream at me all the while people are in the store one of the nail technicians the one who did my nails hops on his bandwagon of him yelling at me telling me I am not human I'm an animal I have no heart. at that point I looked at my grandmother and asked her if she wanted to leave and I proceeded to walk out the door holding it for her because she's in a wheelchair. the gentleman follows me outside and continued yelling at me blocking my grandmother in the doorway so she cannot get out finally I had to look at the gentleman and ask him if he wanted me to call the cops on him for harassing me in the street. I have never been treated this way nor have I ever had such bad quality work done I suggest if you want something good going somewhere else because if they make a mistake and you say something they get mad at you and they will most likely do the same thing that they did to me to you. read more

I went in in2 days before my birthday. 9-21 a month later I still can't wear nail. Because how they had messed up my regular nail. My husband is so up set. I don't even want to give them a 1* more like a -3. They wasn't vary friendly to me. But they was more interested in they're regular customers that came in the door. I felt definitely out of place. seems like only two people work there and she wasnt rushing until two more ppl came in. they are only familiar with square styled nails or very basic styles. I came in for almond and for a plum color and the nails look nothing like I wanted. The color was dark brown not purple and had to get them redone some where else. Save your $$ read more

I'm not that particular about pedicures however one thing is for sure they do not massage long enough or at all here. They're very quick in & out type of pedicure. There's not many employees here either. So the owners wife usually does mine. Like I said it's rushed. You can't really enjoy anything. Only reason I come here is because my gma likes the Man that's own it. He's very nice & friendly. He always does hers. For $30 I'll paint my own toes. read more

My fiance and i went and got a DUO PEDICURE. the employees were very nice and sat us by eachother. We got our pedi done and even hot rocks message and a hot towel. This was our first visit and we cant be any happier. The employees spoke english most of our visit and started conversations, a great experience overall. By far THE BEST pedicure I've even recieved. I walked in and was instantly attended to. Very clean and very friendly. Henry did an amazing job. I didn't pay extra and got the salt scrub, hot stone massage, and the softest feet around. He had a great attention to detail. I even decided to go with a gel pedicure because by the time he got to Polish I was totally confident in his abilities. If I ever come back through town I'll be stopping by for sure! read more

My pedicure was pretty standard - nothing special but descent enough. My manicure was done by a different gal however, and I wish I had gotten her name. She did a terrible job. I asked her if she could cut my nails and she told me no. She said they were too short and she couldn't. That was the first frustrating thing. She then cut me twice with cuticle cutters and one of my fingers still has the blood on it - she didn't even apologize. After my nails were done, I looked at them and there was polish on my cuticles and on the skin around my nails. Extremely frustrating and I do not recommend going here. read more

Service = friendly enough. They did a great job on my pedicure. (I finally have soft feet, for a few days at least, until the next time I get a pedicure, which will be in two years' time haha) Yes, I got orange toes with black and white flowers on the large toes. The back massage, was not comfortable for me, as either I'm too short for it, or it's just not properly calibrated. lol I gave up trying to get a massage on my lower back area, after spending a good 20 minutes pushing the remote. Price = $25 for a pedicure, plus $5 for the design. Here's to hoping it'll last two more weeks! read more

If I could do a 0 stars I would. I constantly told the lady my nails where glued on crooked. Over and over again. Had a horrible attitude about it and rushed through my nails. I stated more than once that I am the one paying for this service so I'd atleast expect it to be done right. I even called to make an appointment so it's not like they were unaware of me coming. This has got to be the worst nail experience I've ever had. I'm not one to write reviews but this was completely unacceptable. They did not deserve a dime for what I paid for. read more

The customer service was HORRIBLE. As soon as I walked in and told them the service I wanted the owner gave me an attitude. I asked for a nail removal then they asked where I got my nails done at (they were not done by this salon). After, I told him where I got them from he proceeded with why I didn't go back to the person who did it. The owner Kept trying to argue with me to the point where he was refusing to do the service. I told him I was under the impression they were trained to do that service. He replied, yea we are but it would take 3, 4, to 10 hours to do it. So I'm like just say you don't want to it and I'll take my business else where. Fast word....Gus daughter end up servicing me and apologized for her dads attitude. Most importantly He was very rude, argumentative, and unprofessional. Once the service was completed which took less than an hour he told me his salon would not do that service for me again. I'm from out of town and turned to yelp to help me find a good place to get a mani pedi. The pedi was okay but the guy wasn't even paying attention to what he was doing half the time he was looking at the tv. When it was time for the mani that's when everything went down hill. He made my cuticle bleed 3x and didn't even apologize. He was so rough. He stopped and let a young girl in high school take over for him who I guarantee is not certified to do nails. She proceeded to paint my nails while there was still blood on my cuticle which stung. It was a mess. I didn't want to cause a scene so I just paid and left. I have been getting my nails done since I was 15 and have never experienced a worse manicure than I did here. read more

I have had several manicured and pedicures at various places and I think there is nothing truly special about this place. Mani/pedi price is currently $37. Shellac mani and pedicure is currently $53. The lady I had cut the skin surrounding my nails too deep in some places and I have two fingers that are sore now. Horrible service. My girl Went in to get her nails done after having the first day off in a while. She came out 15 mins later with her nails all scratched. Apparently the guy got frustrated when she decided she also wanted a full set with her manicure. Willing to pay extra of course. She being exhausted, went to pay and leave until the man asked her "whats wrong with you!?" So if you would like to feel like less than what you are worth, come get your nails done here. read more

I'm not sure how to spell her name, but Vai (Vye?) gives the best pedicures, hands down. My feet had terrible calluses on them and were always swollen and throbbing from my job. One afternoon with her and her magical hands made my feet feel super soft. She puts me in a comatose state everytime the massage comes. 10/10 would go back. read more

The workers were very nice but didn't really talk much. I felt like my cuticles were in worse shape after my manicure. There was paint on the skin around my nails which peeled up and looked gross. The pedicure was great and included hot stones but my big toes were very sore afterwards. I think the lotion used on my legs had an allergen in it because my legs broke out terribly after I left. Might go back for a pedicure again (minus the lotion rub) but would pass on the mani. read more

This was my first and last time getting a mani here. It was the worst experience I've had to date. The towel and nail file was dirty. The nail file was so dirty with dead skin that I told the lady it might interfere with her filing. Only then did she go to the back to bring a clean file. She proceeded to unevenly file my nails that I had to file them myself to make them even and smooth. The lady did not massage my hands after putting lotion on them although it was included. By this time, not only was the utter disregard for cleanliness (excessive previous dead skin on the file and towel being a nidus for bacteria) making me want to expedite this experience, but on top of that the lady didn't even apologize when she cut my cuticles harshly or when she repeatedly cut my nails unevenly. I told her nicely that it was painful and the owner then told me that he has so many customers and no one complains. I politely replied that I was just letting her know it was painful because it was hurting. By this time I had such a bad experience I wanted to just leave and wash my hands. I paid him for the mani and quickly got out of there. They didn't deserve a cent for such a bad experience. I would never recommend this place to any one. read more

I went to a few nail salons for my acrylics and finally found Swan Nails! This place is fabulous. Only $14 for a fill and they are so incredibly fast without being sloppy. They get really busy after 5pm (and maybe before, not sure), so I would recommend calling and booking an appointment. read more
