Swank did such an amazing job for us; I highly recommend that you hire them right away! Our wedding was 190 people in Tribeca. Maya and her team are total pros -- they treated us with super special attention and tailored everything to fit us exactly, while at the same time bringing a ton of experience and vendor relationships. We had the sense that they had "seen it all" -- not in a jaded way, but they knew just how to handle every challenge that we threw at them. In our case, they were particularly helpful because we didn't really know what we wanted. We went in with some vague ideas ... "maybe some candles ... red roses ..." I am not the type of bride who wanted to look at twenty different types of tablecloths. So, Maya and the design team sat down with us over several meetings and really drew out from us what we wanted -- ceremony, music, decor, style, everything. Together we developed a "theme" that we loved, and Swank just took it and ran. Of course they were working with us every step of the way, but what they conceived and executed for our wedding was so far and above any dream I could have ever had. The guests were all just breathless with disbelief at the beauty of it when they walked in. If you ARE the type of couple who has a ton of ideas, Swank listens and gives you all kinds of choices that match what you're looking for. They know everyone and have the best resources. I know this because I did have a few things I was very specific about (i.e. I wanted a classical choir for our music), and they made even those things much better than I could have alone. During the planning process, they kept us on schedule and on budget. They told us exactly what to do when, and in some cases did things for us. I wasn't stressed at all because I knew they were watching the clock and knew what had to be done. The concept, design, and planning help were all fantastic, but the week prior to the wedding and the wedding day itself were when they really "earned their money," as my husband says. It was unbelievable but we just showed up at our wedding and had an amazing time. In fact, we went on VACATION (which was actually crazy -- I don't recommend it) the week before the wedding while Swank went NUTS tying up all the last minute details. Swank managed EVERYTHING: the room, the DJ, our families, transportation, the photo process, food exactly how we wanted it -- everything was so "us" but we didn't have a single worry to attend to. They had gotten to know us so well that they knew exactly what to do and with whom and when on the big day, and THAT was worth every penny. Plus, Maya and Josh (the designer) and their team are just so nice and cool. They made the whole process really fun. I (obviously) can't say enough about them. We still look back on our wedding and talk about such a beautiful, fun, relaxed, perfect night, and I know that is mostly due to Swank! read more

Maya and team did our wedding at Gotham Hall this past April and meant to write them a raving review but finally have the time to write one now.
