    Birks that were re-soled

Great quality work! The turn around was only a few weeks and they did a great job. I had a few pairs of Birks that I had worn through the bottom and they look great now!

online chancel ballet flats BRANDING NOT COVERED DONE BY REPUTABLE COBBLER

Complete waste of money ruined 2 pairs of 1k dollar tabis and when asked for a refund gave me $40. Took three weeks to do and did it wrong. Places in a NYC will do it in a week and get the cobbling correct. Shipping it over to New York would be quicker. Don't waste your time or money on this place. Also his train of logic was that if "I wasn't going to sell them then it doesn't matter" verbatim. Complete disregard for branding and taste of the shoe is very rookie. No reputable cobbler is taking away branding from a shoe. Included photos on how it should be done and how mine ended up. Disgusting work.

    Before and After

I bought Redwings not too long ago, fell absolutely in love with them, and then was super disappointed when the heel pads wore completely down in three months. Even though they were under warranty, I figured putting the same pad back on would result in more disappointment. I didn't know where to go, no one I knew was thrilled with their cobbler. Swansons was close and had decent reviews so I surrendered my every day boot to the unknown. My boots were ready a week earlier than they said it would be and the pads are exponentially better than the originals. So stoked. They also fixed the visual damage to the wooden heel. They ALSO have a great selection of laces and I was able to pick up the specific length laces my boyfriend hadn't been able to find for his boots elsewhere. They not only fixed but improved what were already my favorite boots. Thank you thank you!!

Good quality repairs on my shoes with a relatively reasonable turnaround time. I'll keep making my way here for my shoe repair needs.

Great to see shops that can still fix things so you just don't throw them away or go buy new ones. Recommend them for all things shoes

They were able to fix a zipper broken in my sorel boot. I was so worried that it was not fixable. They did an excellent job.

For a pair of 10+ year old leather boots, they replaced the heels and polished them. They look brand new now!

Easy peasy! Fixed the sole of my Tom's wedge in a couple days for just $10. Was an easy problem to fix, but the service was great!

Everything fit well except the fact that I couldn't get the zipper more than 3/4 of the way up my calf.

I've had several contacts with Dave Page. You will get unvarnished truth, boot-wise, from him. If…read morehe tells you that your boots are not worth working on, they're not. When the frozen body that was suspected to have been that of early mountaineer Edmund Mallory (?) was found, having been on ice for the better part of a century, it was Mr. Page that was consulted to authenticate that the boots were of the right age. I brought a pair of custom-made boots to him, as they appeared to be falling apart way too soon. Mr. Page frowned at the boots, said he recognized the cobbler's work, and told me he wouldn't touch them. "Can't fix 'em," he said. "Take him to Small Claims Court. And if I do any work on them, it'll ruin your case." I took in a pair of Vasque boots, made by Red Wing, that was in need of resoling. "They're not worth resoling," he pronounced. I took his word for it. I ran into a guy in the Enchantments, had to be in his eighties, told me of the peaks within visual range that he'd done first climbs of, way back when. I didn't doubt him, he looked tough as he scrambled up the route from Colchuck to Asgard Pass with a lot more ease than I was. He asked me where I was from. "Seattle." "Really? Seattle? Do you know Dave Page? Wow--he lives in your town! How lucky you are!" Most recently, I took a relatively new pair of Cresta boots, sold by LLBean, just to see if Mr. Page approved. He hefted them, nodded in recognition. "I've been to the factory where these were made [I believe he said in Romania]. They do good work. You'll be very happy with these." You will likely receive gruffness, curtness, and the truth about your boots. Mr. Page does good work.
