I called in and asked if I could come in to get a quick fix. Cobbler said to come on in, he fixed it in about fifteen minutes! The fix was inexpensive considering the annoying squeak was gone!! I walked around in amazement at all the shoes being repaired and the cool machines used to fix them. Nice to see a business that gives items a new life. I learned that he took over the store after his dad had operated it for 20-something years. It's clear he takes pride in his business. The location is a little confusing on the Yelp map. You enter through a promenade off 2nd Ave, near the intersection with Seneca. They usually have a sign on the sidewalk, shown in the Google maps photo I uploaded.
