Our home warranty company sent out Swat to fix an outdoor faucet. The person who came said it wouldn't be covered because it was broke because of force. I'm the one that uses the hose and can guarantee it was not forcefully broken. Faucets ware out, it just stopped shutting off. So as the home warranty company won't cover per his diagnose, he wants to charge me $350. To repair a faucet. I'm top of what they already got for the service call. Needless to say they won't be getting my business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS: SWAT plumbing came out to fix a few issues. I needed to have the flapper replaced on all my toilets and had one shower that only produced piping hot water. Unfortunately, when looking into the issue with the shower, the plumber did not reconnect the all the pipes/valves correctly which resulted in a leak. I notified SWAT plumbing of the leak. It took roughly one month before SWAT sent out a plumber to resolve the leak. As a result of the leak, I had water come through the ceiling from one floor down to the other that knocked out the electricity for a significant portion of my property. SWAT, specifically Keith, indicated that they would address the electrical issues after the leak was fixed. Since the leak has been fixed, I've contacted SWAT on four seperate occasions and they have not responded. It's been over a month and a half since the I started working with SWAT. read more

Never submit an online warranty request always call it in. I sent an online service request to Oneguard home warranty who sent SWAT Plumbing. I clearly wrote in the notes that it was a hose spout that kept leaking when on. Oneguard did not reply that it wasn't covered and since they already took my $69 service fee, Oneguard could care less. Once Ruben the technician got there, he said it would be $450 for a hose bib replacement without any detail of what he had to do to justify that exorbitant cost. Angie's list said it should have ran between $150-300 so no way was I going to pay for highway robbery. I kindly said that's too high and ask him to stop. They also need to work on a better dispatch system because I called the day before asking a time so I can plan and she said 11-1 which I planned my day on. By 915 the technician was already there while I was en route. Happily I didn't waste a trip. So not a bad review, not a good review. read more

If I could leave negative stars for this company I would! The person I had the misfortune of speaking to by the name of Keith was a rude, lying scam artist. This company was sent to us through Cinch Home Warranty. I will be advising Cinch not to refer them to anyone else, and have contacted their legal department with regard to this matter. We had a leak in our water heater, so the technician they sent out said it needed to be replaced (which was not a surprise). The price quoted for a new water heater plus installation was 780.00. This scam artist at SWAT wanted to charge us an additional 1600.00 for unnecessary "modifications". He then proceeded to quote these unnecessary modifications to the warranty company which left us unable to get a second opinion from another plumbing company under the terms of our warranty company. This person named Keith was beyond rude and disrespectful to me when questioned about the bogus charges. He had the audacity to tell me it should be fine because Cinch could just cash out the claim for the amount of the water heater only. So extremely unprofessional! Please please don't use SWAT Plumbing if you want a job well done from a reputable company. I cannot stress this enough!!! If you read through the hundreds of other yelp reviews, you will see this same scam attempted numerous times. read more

We called SWAT Plumbing out as a 2nd opinion because the company AHS sent out previously told us there was an unpenatrable blockage, and it was going to cost us $15K to replace the pipe. I refused their diagnosis and requested a 2nd opinion. I was so disappointed that AHS took their word without camera evidence (as far as I know, since no camera evidence was noted in the report). Adam at SWAT Plumbing was a trooper and let me pick his brain regarding the ins and outs of how the pipe lays out under the house. In time we will probably need to replace this pipe, but until them we will NEVER put anything (we never did put grease down) food wise down the drain. Here's hoping Green Goo will help break up this grease buildup and give us more time. read more

We had a toilet leak & SWAT plumbing was sent out by American Home Shield. They repaired the leak & did additional work at our request in 8/2023. By the way, the toilet still runs and only stops running after flushing the toilet several times. SWAT brought in dryers & could have been completed in a reasonable time. But the wanted to run the dryers over the weekend which allowed them to make more money. We worked through our insurance company & mortgage to get payment finalized. The process took longer than anticipated to be finalized & received. I get that we owed them money. But the charged my credit card without permission. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMIES. Poor customer service & threats to a custom is never a good business practice. If you are hiring them because your home warranty company assigned them for a claim, then beware. Recently they replaced my kitchen faucet. After diagnosing that my old one needs to be replaced, the technician claimed I had a really good warranty plan and that I can go with whatever he would bring for the replacement or I can purchase my own upto $299 value and it will be reimbursed by the warranty company. I went with the second option and bought one for $169. The technician returned and installed the new faucet. It took about 45 min. He asked me to pay $296 for the installation and said it would be reimbursed as well. I believed his words and made payment. What a terrible mistake it was! The warranty company refused to reimburse a single penny. After many frustrating calls to the warranty company and S.W.A.T. plumbing, the warranty company agreed to pay $112. But that is far less than what I paid. I am yet to receive the $112. For a 45 min job, I ended up paying $253 service fee in total. That doesn't include $169 faucet cost. In total, I got a new kitchen faucet for $430 (ridiculous). Had they have been upfront about the costs, I would have been fine. But their technician misled me about reimbursements. Lesson learned in a hard way. Never believe what they claim but verify with the warranty company!!! read more

Oh lordy, this was a doozy. Our home warranty company subcontracted with SWAT to fix a broken shower faucet. After days of phone tag and them not responding, a plumber came out. I could barely even get him to look at much less understand what we were asking for. He then caused additional damage, left a huge hole in our wall, and then lied to our home warranty company (and neglected to tell them that he caused damage). If you're thinking about calling them, you def shouldn't. If your home warranty company dispatches them. stop them immediately and request a new plumber. After waiting hours and even receiving a text that they were on their way they never showed up. We rescheduled with them (which was several days later), once AGAIN, after receiving a text that they were on their way they never showed up; never even notified us they were not coming. The only reason that I gave 2 stars was for the tech. When the tech arrived he did not have the part. It took 2 days to order the part (water heater pressure relief valve). This part can be purchased at any local hardware store or walmart. When they finally get the part which was Thursday (original tech appointment was 8 pm on Monday) I was scheduled the tech to return on the following Monday. During this whole time the pressure relief valve was leaking water under the foundation of my house. This caused my water heater to constantly heat the water causing my electric bill to be over 500 dollars. My water bill was almost double. The company told us that this was not their concern ( the leak ) and requested 250 dollars extra to turn this work ordering an emergency work order. I was already charged 125 dollars by American Home Shield ( my deductible). I will never use Swat plumbing again. Good luck if you use them. read more

He just saw an elderly lady and wanted to take advantage of her. When he first told home warranty what cost would be, it was covered. But when I insisted he just fix what he was called out for, then all the sudden it was caused by tree roots and wasn't covered. I have pics to prove otherwise. 2 misdiagnoses and being overcharge is not a good way to run a business. I would give 0 if possible. Keith is rude and claimed he wasn't trying to rip us off when he did. Plumbers need more training claiming I had a slab leak and electrolysis which is way bigger than a small leak. Got charged 850 for them cutting a whole in my wall and repairing a pipe. Then leaving me with the cleanup and repair. If you are going through home warranty. Choose a different plumber because they will reword the solution so warranty will no honor the cause. Inquiry sent to management/owners with no personal reply or follow only mailed an invoice: ...there was no clean up from the job and a now irregular hole in the dry wall that will need additional repair. I was not shown the repair, no talk of warranty on work, nor was I given or emailed an invoice or copy of my payment. He didn't tell me that he had done that and never followed up as promised. When he left and he only said he would find order the part he needed and return to repair the loose handle. I waited weeks without water in that sink and never heard a word. I called the "home warranty" company, was on hold for more than an hour, and they said he reported that it was broken because broke it when I personally attempted to repair it. I had a plumbing leak and tenant said they saw the plumber knock on the door next door leave and leave. The plumber went to the wrong house despite notes being included that had the address to go to. They tried to put all the blame on the warranty company and played the victim. They also say they call to confirm availability and safety prior to coming but they did not. Despite me calling within a few minutes of my tenant saying the plumber went to the wrong address, they could not schedule me for anything earlier than the next week to fix their mistake. My son bought his house a few months ago. I noticed one of his electric water heaters had water in the pan. He used his HOW Warranty and they sent out S W A T Plumbing. The plumber looked at it by taking photos and said a new heater was needed, but my son's out of pocket for parts was going to be $1304 because of all the different plumbing needed. I never said a word but asked further questions on what if he replaced the other heater at same time. Plumber said another $3000 for labor and new heater. The plumber was not even consistent in his lying. I had my plumber come out & look at water heater and he said it was leaking from a cap that was torn and replaced it. He did not charge my son for the simple fix, since he has done a lot of work for me. I knew my line of questions indicated this plumber was not honest. Obviously, SWAT Plumbing can't be recommended. If you see SWAT drive up, don't walk away, but run as fast as you can and hold your wallet. read more

Scheduled with them to come out on 10/06. They said I would get a text stating when they would be at my house. I got a text on 10/05 stating they would be there from 12:00 to 6:00 on 10/06. My wife and I made arrangements with work to be there for that time period. Got a text on 10/06 at 10:30 that they would be there in 10 minutes. I called to let them know I wouldn't be there until 12:00. They said that they will have to reschedule since he finished early and insinuated that I was the problem.
