I go every 2 weeks for a regular pedicure and powder gel on my hands. Mr. Wong is the best for pedicure and always gets the water temperature just right. I'm very ticklish but when he scrubs my feet I almost never flinch. The time Doris takes during my appointments shows how much pride she takes in her work. For Christmas I had no idea what to get as my go to color is always red so it didn't feel festive to me. Doris helped me pick out a sliver glitter ombré on white nails and I loved it. It cost me $65 for the services I get which is very reasonable for the area. Doris makes it a point to get to know all her regulars and treats us like family. It's also pretty quiet and empty whenever I go as Doris really schedules everyone at good times so you don't feel rushed. I definitely recommend you call ahead as well everyone is really booked and busy so they can't always take walk ins.

Doris did a new set of UV gel on me due to the terrible job done last time with my previous set (done at a different place in the area). I absolutely LOVE how they came out! She filed them exactly as I asked and took her time in doing them. I'm super happy and I haven't said that for a long time about my nails! My manicurist kelly was very nice and gave great advice on which color to choose for what my needs were. They made sure I was able to sit next to my friend who came just to accompany me and gave us good conversation! I had come from the hospital and had nail discoloration and the team gave their thoughts on which color would best help me feel good about my nails again. BAD REVIEW for "Q Ba Nails" on Shore Road…read more I hate bad reviews. More-so, I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was so outrageous, I have no choice. I treated my 87 year old mother to a mani-pedi. We've been going to 'Q Ba Nails' on Shore Road for years, ever since it was Gallery Nails. Today, we got there at 1pm, I told them that "I want the nails short short." Then I asked when I can pick her up. They said 40 minutes. I came back asked, "How much?" They said "$30." I looked at Mom's nails, turned to the manicurist and said that "I wanted them very short." She argued what I meant. I gave in out of disgust & disapproval. I took out my credit card to pay. Then they said "Cash only." When I asked, "Why?" She said, "It's easier." I said, "It's never only cash. You have a credit card machine and show pictures that you take credit cards. I don't have the cash." She then said, "Doesn't matter, we are doing cash only." About another 3 minutes of arguing, I said that "I don't have the cash, that I'd have to go to the bank, to get the cash." They told me, "The dry cleaner has an ATM machine to give me cash." - [That makes me uneasy, when a merchant becomes a 'cash only' then directs you to a out-of-bank cash machine.] - So, then I stated that I'm going to my bank, (Chase on Main Street), they kept trying to directing me to the ATM. Then, I started to put Mom into the car, then they INSISTED that Mom is to stay there until I return. Is it that they were holding her hostage until I returned??? (Well, that's what it felt like to me.) I left and returned some 30 minutes later. You'd think that's where this dreadful story ends, but NO! With the $30, plus a $10 tip in hand, I got back. I mean, it's not the manicurist's fault that the owner only takes cash. BUT... When I started to pay, I asked for a receipt. The manicurist, (not the owner), took a small piece of paper from a blank pad, wrote a 'Korean symbol' and the "$30" and tried to give it to me. Quizzically, I said, "This is not a receipt. I want a real receipt." They said that "This is what we use." I said, "No. I want a receipt with the business name, address, telephone...." They interrupted me saying, "No. No. This is what we have." At that moment, another customer said, "Well, what can you do?" I said, "Well, for one, I'm never coming back here again. And second, I can advertise the bad review I'm about to give them." Needless to say, there was no tip. As I'm writing this, I'm recalling the whole situation. (1) Lousy workmanship, (2) arguing with me that I wanted a better job done, (3) not telling me that it's a Cash Only transaction, (4) holding my mother "hostage" until I return back, & (5) not giving a real receipt. Yes, I think I'm justified in writing this BAD REVIEW for "Q Ba Nails" on Shore Road, in Port Washington, NY.

I came back here and find the place to be totally relaxing lovely music very quiet and peaceful. Well, the prices may marry in Roslyn you pay for what you get and over here you get an excellent manicure or pedicure and you get to relax in a clean peaceful environment. I would highly recommend it.
