These folks are the best! They are family owned and know how to treat people right with "old style" service. Prompt, professional, made sure the job was done right, AND at a fair price. They didn't try to "upsell" and sell us something that wasn't appropriate for our needs. Curtis even fixed something on the garage door opener that we didn't know was about to cause a problem. I had called another local company before I found Sweany's and the "owner" was rude and acted as if I was inconveniencing him. Once I remember his name I will post on yelp about how he should find another career. I am so glad and grateful to have found Sweany's and when the time comes we will use them again. This is family owned and operated relocated from the great lakes area.. Detroit Michigan to be exact where they grew up motor city... Worked union, (UAW ) then moved to Sam Diego Ca. Where they would continue to prosper with children and grand children.. recommended , referred by Coronado cays community on their website. Very friendly, of course guarented their work. Initially contacted C&C Overhead Doors to to replace the spring for my garage door. Unfortunately…read morethis was not the issue, but Daniel was transparent and was upfront with what the root cause was. I called him one day to see if he could come out and look at the door, the next day he came out and examined the door. After few minutes he identified the issue and the options he suggested to fix the issue. First fix was replace two of the panels in the door. Second fix replace the entire door, tracks, etc. Went with the second fix due to it just made since to pay for a new door then a failing door. Daniel coordinated with me on scheduling the installation and sent one of his guys out, David. David was nice and efficient. He got the whole job done in about 2 1/2 hours. Now the door opens and closes smoothly and it sooooo much quieter than the old 20 year old door. Thank you Daniel and David for the excellent customer service and overall excellent experience.

The light flickered nonstop and the unit refused to even attempt functioning. I ordered a brand new jack shaft/side opener off Amazon and was going to try installing myself. But then I discovered our garage door was super unbalanced (the spring had lost a lot of tension I guess). This would likely make the new opener unable to function, and garage door springs are not safe for a DIYer to mess with, so I was stuck and decided to call in the professionals. I reached out to a few businesses on Yelp, and... Pros: They responded quickly to my Yelp request with an actual estimate (only company who did) They stuck to their estimated schedule, arriving right in the middle of it Devin is an awesome guy and a super skilled installer who knows what he's doing and more importantly: cares about doing it well! He was really friendly, worked quickly (took about 90 mins altogether for everything), took care of all the little details, cleaned up the area when he was done, and walked me through all the operations of our new door opener at the end. We chatted a bit as he worked and had a pretty good time while still getting everything done blazingly fast. Easy Open accepted Zelle for payment which is super convenient for those of us who never have cash and don't know where their checkbook is!
