I went to a nearby walk in clinic the day before and got absolutely nowhere with a PA who wasted my time and money.

In short They immediately realized that I'd need a bit more…read morecare than they could provide on site, so they didn't charge me or take my time. I was hoping for a different outcome but I have to respect their honesty. In long A scrape on my leg had gotten infected, so I was hoping to get an Rx for some antibiotics and hurry home for the Hawks game. They checked me in in minutes, and found my insurance that had just taken effect a couple days earlier. Nice! The system texted me some info to fill out, and she told me it would list me as being seen in about 25 minutes, but it would be much sooner. The PA came out within 60 seconds to say that they didn't house one piece of equipment I'd need as part of a full eval, and I should go around the corner to the ER. He definitely felt bad delivering this news, and explained it even more thoroughly than he really needed to. I got it right away. He was quick to say that they would cancel the visit and not charge me. Even though I ended up missing the whole game, he was spot-on about what the ER would do to evaluate the infection. I got great care there, thankfully much of it in front of a fuzzy, dim TV showing the game. So I can't really complain about anything other than my own procrastination for leaving the trip until late afternoon.

I was told that I "looked fine" and advised to continue using the same topical medication, despite my concerns. My visit was also incorrectly documented with appointment notes about whiplash, a condition I never reported or had. After following their guidance, my condition got significantly worse to the point I couldn't open my eye and had to seek care elsewhere. Another provider immediately told me to stop the medication and prescribed a different treatment that worked almost overnight. I formally contested both the care and the incorrect documentation, but their medical review team still determined that everything was "appropriate" and refused to adjust the charge. I will never go back and cannot recommend them.

If I could give zero stars I would. Why? False advertising, bait and switch, NOT HONORING A WRITTEN…read moreAGREEMENT! The details for those who want them: I recently purchased a Dealfind Voucher for Purely Skin Medical, Dr, Keith Ly's clinic, that was for "1 Year of Unlimited Laser Hair Removal Sessions on 3 Body Parts." The voucher went on to specify that "The following count as 1 individual body part: chin, lip, front of neck, underarms, hands, feet, abdomen line, or bikini line. The following counts as 2 individual body parts: Brazilian bikini, lower legs, or forearms." So I called to make my appointment to have my lower legs (2 body parts) and underarms (1 body part, equaling the 3 body parts allowed total) done. First they tried telling me that I had to purchase 2 vouchers to get the lower legs done. Um, that's absolutely NOT what the voucher says. We went back and forth on this. Then they tried telling me my voucher had expired, even though it does not expire until June 2013. Finally, as a compromise, they tried offering me 6 treatments on my lower legs only. All of this was per Dr. Keith Ly himself, so I reviewed his Yelp! page as well. I purchased a voucher that would allow unlimited treatments on my lower legs and underarms, why would I accept less?? You would think someone of the medical profession would have a little more integrity than to stoop to this level. It really makes me question his skill and professionalism if he is so blatantly dishonest. Here's a link to the exact voucher I purchased: http://www.dealfind.com/seattle/purelyskinmedical3 Yes I do plan to contact the Attorney General and the Health Department. I recommend you do the same when you encounter businesses that ignore written agreements and flout the law.
