Dr. Chan was friendly and efficient. He immediately sent the referral I needed while I was seeing him. After I left the facility, I learned that the referred place did not look at my specific condition, so I called and asked them to send the referral to another location. They did so on the same day and sent me a notification on MyChart to inform me. I really appreciated the efficient service! The nurse, Meagan, was also very nice and caring. I saw Robert Klem after my long-time provider Jennifer Lonac left, who had treated me for multiple issues - mostly my anxiety, agoraphobia & PTSD. At first prescribed my medication, but went back - not only made no eye contact or address my history of blood pressure issues, but was dismissive, flippant, judgmental and in an antagonistic tone told me "try rehab." I walked out immediately in disbelief. I have never seen a more tone-deaf, unprofessional provider with a complete lack of empathy. No clue about the other providers. Dr. Ellery Allonier is such a great primary! These days, I'm finding that so many doctors are burned out. If you have anything more complicated than a cold or an ear infection. They call us "a mystery" and we are dismissed. If we are overweight, surely that is the cause OR if we present as anxious certainly anxiety must be the culprit. I've heard/ seen it all in my 60 years of having rare genetic anomalies/disorders. I have found hope in Dr. Ellery I found a diamond on the rough. Dr. Ellery is truly a compassionate soul who has, and will, do everything in her power to help you. I'm a difficult case, a challenge but I don't feel like this when I'm sitting with her. I'm treated like I matter, like doctors used to treat people when I was in my 30s If you are on the verge of giving up, I highly encourage you to make an appointment with Ellery Allonier. I was greeted by a lovely nurse (Meagan) who was truly caring, all of my fears surrounding my first visit disapated after meeting her. Dr Kalodimos prescribed me my ADD meds for 4 years. And for 4 years he treated me like an addict. I'm just a human with a learning disability that he discriminated against. He kept trying to put me on medications and draw blood every 3 months. In one instant, he falsely flagged me as having high blood pressure, told me not to exercise because he wanted to put me on blood pressure medicine. My last interaction with him, I told him to stop accusing me of being an addict and called him out on lying about federal laws and Swedish policies that he was making up. He admitted it was his personal policies. He then assaulted me by blowing up, storming out of the room, and knocking a desk into me. read more

Dr. Klem has been my PCP for almost 4 years, he is such a great doctor and has a great bedside manners. He always has a smile on his face and create safe environment for his patients. He is always non-judgmental and take his time during the appointment. I never felt like he is rushing the care, or ignoring my concerns. It is hard to find doctors who have much knowledge about LGBTQ+ community and their issues. He is always available and replies in timely manner on MyChart messages. It is very easy to get lab orders from him inpatient or outpatient clinic. He always goes above and beyond to help me understand and make informational decisions. I will highly recommend him, and I am lucky to have him as my primary care provider. Staff at his office is always very welcoming and service is really fast. I have done both online and in patient appointments with him and always had positive experience. Highly recommend him as a provider. Thank you for being such a great human being!! I went here on a random day after scheduling an appointment. They were running over an hour behind and when I finally saw the doctor, they wanted to draw blood. It happens, but the lab was closed. The doctor told me the lab was walk-in and I wouldn't need an appointment. I called the office right before driving over (had a hunch). Lo and behold, they do require appts. So I asked if I could schedule something, and they wouldn't even do it! ("Well I can take a message for them"). Lackadaisical healthcare doesn't really work. I won't be coming back. read more

If you have any cough related symptoms then they redirect you to the urgent care, due to COVID. Normally that would be understandable, but here are three reasons a 1-star review is warranted. 1.) The receptionist was rude, very standoffish. 2.) Nowhere on my 45 minutes on hold was there a single message (And trust me, there were a lot of advertisements playing on repeat) informing me that I would be unable to make an appointment because I had a cough. 3.) I was administered my COVID Vaccine 5 weeks ago and two days ago I received a negative COVID test. That didn't matter/make a difference. Please choose this primary care at your own risk. My husband go to this clinic that's why I called them asking if I can get my flu shot. They took my number told me they would call back. No calls after few days. I called again only to get told that I can get it from pharmacy. I have double coverage. I usually go to Swedish family medicine in first hill but it's too far just to get a flu shot. Last time my husband went for a checkup in this clinic my daughter who came with us got a flu shot. I was asked if I needed one, but I wasn't ready that time. My husband saw Dr. Kalodimos for the 1st time recently and was very impressed! He was earnest, thorough, and friendly. Also, the front desk issues that have plagued this location (we have been coming here for a few years now and the prior reviews about the front desk were accurate) seem largely resolved as the 2 ladies there currently are MUCH friendlier and more efficient! This place has deep administrative issues. A massive mistake was made during during the care of a loved one and as a result their rehabilitation has been delayed by weeks if not more. The physicians rock, but the front office staff lack basic compassion and any semblance of customer service. The location of this clinic and Dr. Urriola were important factors in my choice of this facility. However, something really must be said (or preferably done) to improve the front desk service here. Not all reception staff members are rude, but often two out of three are. One in particular is a mature lady with short "salt and peppered" hair who really missed her vocation working for Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW), as upon arrival she tends to adopt an almost knee-jerk reaction to scornfully usher patients away from her space (whilst simultaneously executing a peculiar facial expression much like a cat that's licked its own posterior). Someone so disdainful towards a particularly vulnerable subset of the population (i.e., patients) who profoundly need assistance and compassion is obviously ill-suited​ to working in a facility that has "care" in its name. Perhaps the clinic title should be changed to Richmond Beach Primary "Castigation" to more accurately convey reception's diabolical salutations? read more

Swedish Richmond Beach is not at all similar to my from my former Swedish Primary Care Clinic. They are not at all helpful when you are trying to get appointments, there is no coordination, there seems to be a general lack of caring and commitment at all levels. My doctor left the Sand Point Primary Care and I very much miss her and the care I received there. There was a coordinator who helped facilitate referrals and refills and always the same medical assistant and a direct line for the team. The RB Clinic shares none of those qualities. In fact, the one and only time I went there, I was there for an hour, saw 5 different people and only had one referral followed up on. I never returned. read more

Originally I was a patient at the Mountlake Terrace location and have always really appreciated the care that I received from Dr Uriolla. I had a brain injury several years ago and was hoping to stick with one central system so that all of my information could be in one place in an attempt to coordinate and receive comprehensive care. I needed to see a specialist outside of the Swedish network so I had to bring the report with me to be added to my chart. This report is the basis for all future care. Long story short, they have "lost" my paperwork now THREE TIMES! Because of this my doctor is not able to help, refer or advocate in any way. I have great hardship in getting another copy from the specialist and Swedish has been no help with this, such as faxing a request for information. I can't believe that a professional medical clinic can simply "loose" my medical records, multiple times! Especially since they had to make a paper copy twice. Where did those copies go?? I have needed work and school accommodations and have not been able to get them because they've lost my file..multiple times! I have asked about the Americans with Disabilities Act applying to me, but because they have no records they can not assist me. This has impacted my job, my education and my trust in the healthcare system. I have just started using urgent care as it is closer and, if records are lost with primary visits, what's the difference? I have found myself not accessing medical care when I should have because I just don't trust them anymore. read more
