Such as...meringue pies, sugar cookies with buttercream frosting, hand pulled cream candy, fudge, and chocolate dipped caramel apples just to name a few. She hand makes all of her baked goods and sugary sweets out of her house and there fore doesn't have an official storefront. She usually requires a day or two advance notice to be able to fulfill most orders, but that goes with any at home bakers. In my opinion, it is worth the wait. Nice! They did have breakfast sandwiches. I had an everything bagel with egg, cheese and sausage. My wife had a scone with egg and cheese. We added coffee. There was no place to sit inside, so we sat on the porch. It was very comfortable. Our friendly young lady brought us our sandwiches plus the coffee pot to fill our cups. Did not smell like a good bread, but like a loaf of bread you would get at Walmart. I call her and tell her what the problem is she says to bring it back and she will return my money. First of all, if you thought the bread did not rise correctly, WHY did you sell it to me? Secondly, don't make dumb remarks like that. If you knew the bread was not what it should have been, call me and tell me that you have to remake the loaf, I would have liked that better than to get an awful loaf of bread. As for the croissants, they should be crispy on the outside and soft and airy and pillowy on the inside and taste of butter. These are like rolls!! With a bit of butter baked in. Subpar. One cannot miss the sign in front advertising seasonal specials. It so happened to be zucchini bread. Everything in this bakery is homemade with the freshest ingredients by the Mennonites. The smell of fresh baked goods was so pleasing , I walked out with more than I intended to buy. What I purchased was a $2.50 loaf of mulitgran bread and a 58 cent eclair doughnut. Affordability for great quality. Next time I will buy homemade cookies or a mini pie o r cake. So tempting is this bakery, habitual returns may ruin my diet because it is that delicious.
