The best place to get your chocolate fix on. So many varieties with very reasonable pricing. 1/4, 1/2, and 1lb. options, plus truffle box options too. They probably have 12-16 different types, most of the time in dark or milk chocolate. Lots of prepackaged specialties ready to go if you're in a rush or know what you want. I almost always grab a pack of thin mints. Incredibly nice service from Rob, Connie, or anyone else working there on any given day. The new space is perfect. Time for another visit. read more

Just stopped by to pick up a gift basket and though the hours say 10am - 7pm, the door was locked and nobody came over when I tried yo enter. If you are doing curbside only, enough is enough. I am a teacher and have bern IN school since October. This shop is awesome!!! They did the favors for my son's wedding. So easy and the guests LOVED them!! They ordered for me a small box that each guest received with a Thank you, date and the bride and groom's names. (you can pick what you would like on the box however) In it was two truffles and they were such a HIT!!! They delivered them to me in the boxes they ordered for us and all we had to do was put them on each table. It was an awesome idea and everyone was so happy with them!!! Very cute shop and presentation of the pre-packed candy is adorable. All the chocolates I've had are very good. I was not a fan of the fudge. I stopped in on Father's Day for some gifts and picked up the peanut butter fudge. It was SO stale and it tasted like the other candies. I was very disappointed as it was on the expensive side. These are signature handmade chocolates, and they've been making their candies the same way for the last eleven years -- using real, locally provisioned and wholly natural ingredients. In Royersford you're surrounded by dairy land and you can taste the real butter in these rich, dense sweets. The truffle assortments make great gifts and their regular chocolate assortment treats taste like something out of yesteryear's finest candy kitchens. The owners are great people, too. They're actively involved in the revitalization of Royersford's Main Street. They care deeply about their brand but also about the bringing this beautiful Chester County downtown back to life. Not just a chocolate store, but a wonderful part of the community. I usually have a secret stash of their chocolate in my house. Mass produced candy gives me heartburn. But not Sweet Ashley's. We have relatives in Switzerland. They have given us chocolate. I prefer Sweet Ashley's. I don't look for good buys on cheap chocolate anymore. I recently made an order with Sweet Ashley's Chocolates for a selection of chocolates for my wife's baby shower. After selecting a decorative box and the chocolates I placed my order well in advance to ensure it was accurate ready. The day before the event I went to pick up my order. To my utter disbelief the spelling of my daughters name was incorrect. I was sick. I am pretty sure the boxes that were ordered by Sweet Ashley's were delivered in enough time to verify their accuracy. Even after that time there was 50 other opportunities to realize the error as each box was filled with individual chocolates. Now my contribution of the favors for my wife's shower was all for nothing. I am upset, feel empty, and sick to my stomach. The only thing that was left to offer was a folded up box with a cheap label on it. They did give me the chocolates for free, however, you only have one chance for your first baby shower. That will be the last time I purchase from Sweet Ashley's. Not the review I was expecting to be writing this evening. Hope this review assists others in avoiding Sweet Ashley's and the sickness they have left with me. read more
