The quality of chocolate coming out of Asher's is top-notch and many people I know enjoy it because the taste of chocolate is strong without being overly sweet. The prices are quite reasonable. If you don't care about the presentation, you can buy the bags of loose chocolates on their shelves for a cheaper price. They offer seasonal specials and occasional sales, so it's wise to ask what specials they're offering that day. The store front is the main area to shop from, but you may be able to sign-up for the tours and view the chocolate production process yourself, which I've participated in and enjoyed in the past.

I browsed their website before visiting so I already knew what I was going to buy. The woman at the counter welcomed me and asked if I wanted to try a sample. The sample today was dark chocolate with vanilla buttercream and it was fantastic. I picked up a half pound of dark/milk orange creamsicle chocolates as a gift. They looked great in the display case and the entire store was set up beautifully. The employee rang me up and packaged the chocolates in a bag with tissue paper. Very thoughtful! I overheard another employee say they used to make their chocolates in house in the space right below the storefront but they've since moved to the former Goldenberg Peanut Chews factory to keep up with the demand. This is a great place to get Philadelphia themed chocolates if you're visiting, too. Prices are reasonable and they also sell non-chocolate items like gummies and jelly beans.

We got dark chocolate Dubaichocolate, milk chocolate Dubaichocolate, choco dipped ginger , mint chocolate, graham cracker covered chocolate, peanut butter n' jelly chocolate . I didn't eat all of them but I will say that the Dubai choco is quite a treat!! Pleasant decor with charming touches. I enjoyed my time here .
