He remembers our names every time we go and treats all his customers so kindly. Since we started going last year, the lines get longer and longer which is only a testament to how incredible the shaved ice is. Marc makes everything only using fresh ingredients and you can tell. I got a medium and it was way too much! A small seems more than plenty and you can get 2 flavors. Or maybe get a bigger one and share with someone. We have so-called shave ice here in Boston but it's not like Ono Wai's. These are served with ice cream at the bottom - YUM- and a drizzle of sweet cream on top! It's like 2 desserts in one because by the time you get to the bottom, the flavored ice made the ice cream frosty and sweet - like a creamsicle- but better! The hardest part of ordering this little cup of heaven is choosing the flavors - they have 25 - and apparently they are imported from Hawaii.
