They utilize the space well. The service was quick and they got the in right away. I ordered the flower green tea with cream cheese foam and boba (50% sweet and ice). The drink was still too sweet for my liking but overall nice place to try.

I love this BobaPop location because the staff is super nice and welcoming! If you can't decide on a drink, they make suggestions and explain the menu to you. The drinks are delicious as well. I tried the cheese foam for the first time in a taro slush drink and it was so good! It tasted like Ube cheesecake. I also like how they have different fundraisers supporting the local community. Highly recommend checking out this place. It definitely feels like a neighborhood boba shop even though it's a chain.

My bf and I have been many times and I love this spot for boba. I think this far the honey oolong milk tea drink has to be my favorite so far as it's sweet but not overbearing (my opinion). The service is always good and the ambiance is cute with little places to sit. If you're into boba and you're in the area I'd recommend this place :)

Friday 12/8/2023 I had first tried boba tea at some spot sometime back in 2020 or 2021 and what I could remember was not really being into it. I decided to try boba again after getting recommended this spot. I got a large chocolate Oreo slushie ($6.50) and a large taro milk tea with bobas ($7.25). The taro milk tea was pretty good but I was not a fan of the bobas (I just don't like their texture). The chocolate Oreo slushie was okay but I wouldn't get it again and that's mainly due to the high price for the drink + I would much rather prefer a milkshake for that cost/taste. All in all, my boba pop experience was alright but the drinks are NOT worth the near 7$ price tag for a single drink but that's just me.

I ordered a wintermelon with a sea salt foam cap and it was great !!!!! The worker/owner was so sweet. We accidentally walked in closer to 11 (didnt know they werent open) and they took our order with no problem. Will definitely be back. Thank you guys !!

As soon as you step through the door of BobaPop Tea Bar, you can smell a mix of tea and sugar permeating the air, emblematic of a great boba shop. They make each drink to order, some going through a special tea bag infusing, cup shaking machine, some being hand brewed and mixed. It takes longer than most boba shops to make a drink, but the wait is worth it. As it was getting late in the day, we decided to only get a single drink on our visit. Four Seasons Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The tea taste comes out very well. This is a very smooth, floral and fragrant oolong type tea. 50% sweet was perfect for the drink, especially if you want to be able to taste the tea. The boba was good but not great. Based on the texture, I believe they soak the boba in honey. This creates a very nice and chewy exterior, with a slightly firmer interior. The boba here is slightly harder than a perfectly cooked one but this is really a minor nitpick for an excellent drink. The main issue is that the paper straws they use are really bad quality. By the time you are half way through through the drink, the bottom half of the straw has disintegrated and pieces of paper start sloughing off the straw. Be prepared to start having to drink small pieces of paper. Bleh, completely ruins the drink. I realize this is because of government regulation, but I'd honestly pay more for the drink if they provided bamboo or corn straws or some other alternative instead of these nasty paper straws. That's really the main thing bringing my rating down from a 5.

Drinks were good. Mine was a bit sweet and that was at 50% sugar, but I liked that you could adjust to your taste. Came in at a busy time so the place was super noisy and loud. I had planned to enjoy my drink inside cause the seating area looked nice but it was just too loud from all the machines. The 3q was missing the herbal jelly and one of the servers was nice enough to add it into the drink. Overall, my little medium sized drink came to $8 which is definitely overpriced in my opinion. I love boba but with these prices I'm gonna have to stop getting them

3Q Milk Tea and Thai Milk Tea (with boba pearls)

BoBaPop offers really tasty boba! It's one of the better ones around the DMV. Though the boba pearls were soft, chewy and squishy, some of them were kind of hard in the center. Still overall delicious, though, and the Thai tea flavor was really good! I liked the toppings in the 3Q milk tea, too. Service at this location was really nice. The ambiance was cute and fresh. Check out BoBaPop if you're in the area!

LOVE IT! I'm not a Boba person, well at least I wasn't, until I found this place. My daughter is obsessed with Boba Tea and has tried pretty much all the other Boba places (Yo Bubble, KungFu Tea, Monster Tea). I've tasted her drinks in the past and haven't really liked any of them. Once she tried this place, we both settled on some of our favorite drinks. We've been there literally every other day the last two weeks LOL. They have a punch card (get 10 punches for a free drink). They don't advertise it, but I asked and they gave me one, so be sure to ask for a card. They are really friendly and will explain your options and also let you try the bubbles. They let you customize the amount of Ice, the amount of sweetness, type of milk (regular whole, oatmilk, lactose free), and the toppings. They have black pearls, white pearls, as well as fruit bubbles and pudding and other toppings. We haven't tried the puddings yet. My daughter says their black pearls aren't nearly as strong as some other places. I really like them. I know some places they can have a strong licorice taste (which I personally hate), so I love the mild flavor of these. If you like them strong, then you may not like these as much. Our favorites so far: 1) Taro Milk Tea (I go 30% sugar, regular ice, regular milk and black pearls - I'm new to Boba in general and don't like things too sweet, this has been my favorite) 2) Brown Sugar Latte (my daughter's favorite - with lactose free milk and regular ice and sugar and black pearls) 3) Sunrise Fruit Tea (daughter's other favorite - it's passionfruit and strawberry - we go 50% sugar, regular ice, black Boba). The fruit teas are really flavorful and delicious. The raspberry tea was good too. Our first try on that was at regular ice/sugar (which is 100%) and it was WAY too sweet. I suggest trying the fruit teas at 50 or 30% sweetness unless you like things super sweet. They also have slushes with a preset sweetness level. Yea so - I guess I'm now a Boba convert - LOVE IT! Give them a try. They don't' have an app, but they do have a website and you can order online through the app. There are 3 locations also. We go to the Germantown one.

This use to be August32 and they have some of the fixtures from August32. They now have walls for taking photos and more spaced out seating so you can feel safe inside the store while sipping on some bubble tea. The offerings here are pretty similar to other locations so nothing too dramatically different, but it's always welcomed to have a bubble tea spot that is clean inside and can customize quickly based on your needs. I did like their tea and their lower sugar drinks so I give it my thumbs up. I generally do not go for toppings because of the sugar content. I do see myself coming back here as there are just so many options for eating here and since I come here often, bubble tea just ends up being a take out order

My daughter finally got me to try this place. I tried the mango slushy and my child tried the strawberry slushy. These drinks were good. Mine was a little sweet but it was still tasty. Great for a hot day! Cute little place in Germantown across the street from the library. The bar itself is very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Of course my child wants to go back lol.

The cream puff had a whipped frosting and a light mousse filling. The savory croque hit the spot when surrounded by sweets. The cake omg could devoured in one sitting by one person. Light cream and filled with strawberries. The pastries here are so light that they almost feel strangely healthy and don't leave you feeling heavy. The bubble tea however, was a little sweet. There's seating inside, but the seating area is pretty small and some people were at tables looking like they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. It was a nice morning, so we were able to grab an outside picnic table. The service was decent. One disappointment was when the counter person asked me if I wanted room for cream in my coffee, I said yes and asked if they had nondairy products. She said they had almond and soy. I asked for soy and she returned with my drink. When I went to pay, I saw they charged 79 cents for almond, soy and oatmilk. Ok. Here's the thing. I assume it's on the board and I should have looked, but she also could have mentioned it. Also, charging for these items when they put a little in your coffee leaves me feeling like I'm being abused for not being a dairy person. I get it - it's a pastry shop and the items are buttery and rich from cream. But please - 79 cents for a little soy milk? (I know this isn't uncommon for coffee shops, but it doesn't make it right.). And the coffee ($4.25) was decent - not great. I expected better (richer, more flavorful) coffee from a nice pastry shop like this. Anyway, it's a nice neighborhood place and there's a lot of treats there.

The cafe was beautifully decorated with marble tables, a ton of plants, and plenty of couches and cozy armchairs. There was a ton of natural light from the giant windows, but they also had a number of aesthetic hanging lights, some of which were exposed bulbs and others of which were in little wicker baskets. As far as the food and drink goes, I loved their latte. The coffee was rich and not overly acidic, and it was strong enough that you could still appreciate the chocolatey, nutty undertones under the generous helping of steamed milk and foam. I also loved the little heart sprinkle they added in the center of the mug -- such a cute final touch! My friend and I also split two of their savory items, the cheese arepa and spinach and feta empanada. The empanada was a little different than what I was used to, as it was super flaky and buttery, with an almost croissant or puff pastry-like dough. It was delicious and the savory feta went wonderfully with the spinach and the slightly peppery mayo-based sauce they served it with. The arepa was also lovely, with a generous helping of gooey melted cheese on top of the slightly chewy, slightly sweet corn-based flatbread.

We got the pinkfong cake for my daughter's birthday since it looked so cute. However the taste was…read morethe issue as it did not taste good at all. The frosting used on the outside and the cream used on the inside was not the fluffy and soft kind we liked and was not similar to the other cakes from this bakery that we liked. It tasted like hard butter and unfortunately we had to throw out the entire cake since everyone refused to eat more than the first bite. My husband asked the employee if this was a vanilla sponge cake and they said yes since he cannot eat chocolate cake. Unfortunately once we cut it, it was chocolate. It was a waste of $50+ and would not recommend unless you're just purchasing for pictures and not to eat. The mango and strawberry croissants were good with sweet whipped cream. I liked how the cream also tasted like mango in the mango croissant. The sweet pretzel was also good and crunchy. The inside of the store is nice with plenty of tables. I also liked how there were a lot of outlet spaces.

When we got our coffee, there was absolutely no vanilla taste to it at all. When i went back up to let them know there's no vanilla in it, the cashier made me pay to add vanilla to my drink AGAIN even though i had already paid for it the first time and even after that, it still tasted horrible. The staff was truthfully nice but that experience just threw me off. Also everything is super overpriced in my opinion.

We ended up going back twice! We were greeted right when we walked in and the staff was patient as we looked over the large menu. Plenty of seating inside and they have a nice outdoor patio for when the weather gets better. The blueberry muffin was the best I have ever eaten! The slightest hint of sweetness made all the difference! You could taste how fresh all the ingredients were! The breakfast sandwich was massive and filling. I would love to come back again for the dinner/cocktails! Plenty of street parking available and the restaurant/bathrooms were very clean.
