This is our favorite local breakfast spot. We are relatively new to the area and for some reason Gresham doesn't seem to have an abundance of good places for breakfast. But I guess that's good news for Sweet Betty's because they always have good service, a nice atmosphere, and delicious food. We moved out here from SW Portland, and we feel strongly this restaurant would do well in town where there is MUCH more restaurant competition! read more

Anywhere you can get a bucket of mimosas is a great place. Truly great breakfast and wonderful service. We will be back.

This is an update, I have gone there again since my last complaint, and they have changed, the food is so much better! I'm an omelette chick, so I'm picky how I like them, and they have been making them delish! Still don't like the baby bottles but ehh whatever. Lol but this place is the shit, and I always get my fix for mimosas! So glad I gave it another shot! :). read more

Emily our waitress was awesome. Food was average. The biscuits are good. Wait time was 10 minutes or so.

Cobb salad was pretty good, the tuna sandwhich toasted was delish, just wish they served pickles.

I visited this place for the first time today. I ordered the cheese burger and it was good. The bast part of the burger was the bun! I also ordered Ice-tea and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and treated me like I was a regular. I strongly suggest trying this place out! read more

We were greeted when we came in and was set at a table for 2. We had water with in the first few minutes followed by our waiter taking our order. We had our coffee and Bloody Mary with in minutes of our order. Wait staff was very helpful and were there to check on us regularly. We were in and out with out much waiting. Funky atmosphere. Some really good french toast, and a decent fried egg sammich. Used to go here often when I lived in the neighborhood, but I only get there once or twice a year now. Such a bummer, but it's just not a must visit destination. Instead it's a good option if you're nearby. read more

Sweet Betty's is sooo good! We recently moved to Gresham, and I was so happy to find this place. It's the perfect breakfast place. We've been 3 times now, and every time is so good. They are almost always super busy, so sometimes it's a little chaotic, but the food makes up for it! Service is always great! read more

Our favorite breakfast place. Great food and great coffee, a surprising rare combination around here. The Garden Omelet with carrots, zucchini, and all the other veggies is the best I know of, and I love the veggie Benedict, even though it's not on the menu. I love it, and it's usually crowded, so don't go there. read more

As per usual, always great service and solid food. Never disappoints. Also a special thanks to the staff at sweet betty's i lost my ray ban sunglasses and was sure they were gone forever, but about month after losing them i thought to maybe ask the girls there if anyone had turned in a pair of sunglasses remembering that's the place i had them last. It was an entire 30 days that they held onto them. I was so relieved and impressed by their honesty and trustworthiness. In this day and age its comforting to know there are honest and trustworthy people out there. They could have easily swiped them and taken them home, but these girls are a class act. i love this place, the vibe, music, the food, the staff, its all wonderful. It is a bit small for how busy it gets on the weekend and such, and the parking is not so great, but thats not necessarily their fault. It didn't look like much from the outside, so what a sweet surprise! Our server was wonderful and the food amazing. I had their special of the day which was crunchy Apple French toast with bacon and eggs. Hands down the best French toast I've ever had. I enjoyed the decor very much so, especially the unicorn head. I love this place! The service is always attentive and friendly, drinks are refilled without needing to ask, and light and airy (and not too loud). My favorite is the huevos rancheros with added avocado. It's not a large place, so sometimes there is a wait, but it's worth it! read more

The food at Sweet Betty's rates higher than 3-stars, but the hostess was so rude I had to rate them lower. We visited 7/26/18 @ 11am on our way to Columbia Gorge. We stood at the desk for 5 minutes before the girl came over; she didn't greet us; had a very sour demeanor; and spoke hardly 5 words to us. The server, by contrast, was super. Very friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The food was very good. The French toast is made from cinnamon bread and is the kind of dish that you'll drive a hour for. The apple chicken sausage is also pretty delish! If they can put a better attitude up front, it would sweeten up the whole experience. read more

My wife and I aren't "regulars" at Sweet Betty's but we've been going there since...well since before it was Sweet Betty's. We still love it, but today was a bit strange. We realized when ordering a favored meal at a familiar location you must be clear in your order. We have split the tuna and jalapeños sandwich lunch and we each have a bowl or cup of chowder. When our meals were delivered there were no fries. When I asked about the fries the server was surprised and thought the chowder was in lieu of the fries. They made the order right, but after my wife and I had consumed most each our halves of the sandwich. The food was good, but here is the second oddity one corner of my 1/2 of sandwich was chicken, about a 1x2 1/4" thick strip of chicken instead of tuna! Now there's a flavor change up! All is good we will still go to SBB because we love the people and know they are hard working great people and you don't find that everywhere. read more

This place doesn't seem to know what it is. I'd never go for the whiskey bar because there's a large kids area and whiskey bars don't have kids areas. I'd never go with a friend or the wife became they don't have pizza by the slice in the evenings like all of the awesome places in portland. It tries to be too many things and fails at them all. If it had been a whiskey pub with pizza by the slice I know a ton of people who would have been there everyday. Sad. read more

Sweet Betty's was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad we tried it out today. The food was good (and I mean everything on the plate) and the service was speedy and attentive. My coffee stayed full and the attitude was happy and genuine. The space successfully blended a 50s diner in darker modern club colors with a splash of tiki.
