Stopped by this Le Petit Cafe counter inside of Troutdale Station recently. Troutdale Station is a food cart mall with about twenty food carts, a huge parking lot, and a central brick and mortar building with counters for drinks and snacks. One of said counters is a mini Le Petit Cafe. I ordered a marionberry macaron, and, wow. It's a serious contender for a new favorite. The cookie was crisp, light, and a bit airy. The dust on the shell was sour, while the creme filling was sweet. This gave eating it a similar experience to eating a freshly picked blackberry. Certainly one of the most creative macarons I've ever tried. It was a whole experience. I guess it was my lucky day, because as I was ordering, the Barista asked me if I wanted a complimentary coffee drink that had been made by accident. I don't even remember what it was called, but it was amazing. I think it was some kind of vanilla latte. I came back on a second occasion and ordered a 12 ounce caramel latte with a pistachio macaron. I loved the latte, but this time, the macaron was bad. It was so stale that I considered asking for a different flavor. Overall I loved the coffee but found everything to be a little high priced based on the quality. I would still stop by here for a coffee in the future because Troutdale Station has free wifi for customers, and this is the best coffee spot there that I know of. read more

Yummy cafe in troutsdale station! They have a good selection of bagels and sandwiches. We tried the prosciutto supreme, egg and cheese croissant, and breakfast bagel and enjoyed them all! Thank you Le Petit Café for providing my friends and I the pick-me-up we needed during a busy week! Stopped by this lovely spot with a handful of food carts, a bar, and tables. This was a quick stop and all I really needed was fuel to keep me going through the rest of the day. My friend and I shared their biggest size of an iced chai latte. This isn't your normal chai.. it was heaven in a cup. We added vanilla syrup to jazz it up. It was perfect. The chai flavor wasn't too strong or earthy which I love. There was a strong amount of caffeine which i desperately needed. And to top it all off - the drink was not too sweet. It had the perfect balance. We got our drink quickly. And the employees were super nice. I love how they also serve pastries and have a large variety of drinks on the menu to choose from. 10 out of 10 recommend! read more

It happened to be located inside the Troutdale Station, a huge gathering spot of food trucks, seating, and a bar. It was only 10am, so none of the food trucks were open yet, but it didn't matter because the food at Le Petit Cafe was exactly what we needed! We ordered the Breakfast Bagel and a couple Cafe Americanos and were happy as clams. The bacon inside the sandwich was crisp, the bagel was warm and chewy, and the egg soufflé was perfectly done. We stopped by to grab some lunch at one of the trucks. I saw Le Petit as we were leaving and decided to check to see if there was a pastry I might need for desert. We opted to for a marionberry cheese croissant...and the hubby decided he needed a latte as well. We received fast service with a smile. The latte was fabulous, definitely appreciated and enjoyed. Here in Troutdale on business and on the very first day, had a working lunch. Decided to give this a try since it was close to the office. Did an Uber Eats order. I got the Station Panini and an 8oz. Chai Latte. The sandwich was much bigger than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation and generous portions of meat. Based on how it looked, I thought it was going to be heavy on the bread, but it was just right! I thought about saving one of the halves of the sandwich for dinner, but before I knew it, I had finished both halves. Also only thought about taking a picture after I was already done. We were staying at a near by motel and this was the breakfast place that Google recommended. It was inside the structure at a food truck park. Being fromNY and TX we don't have much experience with food truck parks so we weren't expecting much. My husband had a breakfast croissant and a latte. I had an almond croissant and a cappuccino. I have to say- it was probably the best croissant I have ever had- and I've had many in many places - including France. It was crunchy and buttery and soft on the inside. Perfection. Second time here, same experience! After owning and running restaurants for over forty years, I'm baffled by the service model here. Three employees, one makes sandwiches and coffee drinks , one cashiers, and the third assembles sandwich plates and carries items eight feet from a to b. Perhaps this is why the service is ridiculously slow or perhaps it's the inability of the sandwich/coffee guy to make more than one drink at a time? I waited an eternity for a mocha and when it finally was delivered to the pick up area by coffee/sandwich guy he said nothing to me or anyone previously. There are a few various ways to improve this situation but I suggest you please train the next barista to stir flavored coffees so all the syrup is not on the bottom. $8.00 with tip, I definitely expect more!
