Le Petit Café was a great find on our chasin' waterfalls adventure. They are an anchor business inside the Troutdale Station Food Cart building. It's a nice open space with plenty of picnic table seating and a few chairs and a sofa on one side. The staff was friendly, and there were plenty of food and drink options. You order at the counter and get a pager that beeps when your order is ready for pickup back at the counter. I ordered their featured drink, which was an iced tiramisu latte. It was yummy, as was my ham, egg, and cheese breakfast croissant sandwich. The elevated plating for the croissant sandwich was a nice touch. Instead of blobbing mustard on the plate or offering packets, they gave my plate a pretty swoosh of mustard with a sprinkling of chopped chives. I didn't expect this, but I appreciate that they went the extra step, as we eat first with our eyes! This is definitely a great stop coming to or from The Gorge and we look forward to visiting again in the future. read more

I had this delicious breakfast sandwich and is wonderful Matcha and not only are they happy to assist you in gluten-free but they are also so kind. Located inside of Troutdale Station, this cafe had everything we could have wanted for breakfast. We visited several times while in town. The BLT croissant was absolutely delicious and plentiful with ingredients. The cappuccino had a rich and thick foam which I love. You order at the counter and can sit inside the Station at long communal tables or take your order to go. Service was delivered each time with a smile. Highly recommend. read more

Stopped by this Le Petit Cafe counter inside of Troutdale Station recently. Troutdale Station is a food cart mall with about twenty food carts, a huge parking lot, and a central brick and mortar building with counters for drinks and snacks. One of said counters is a mini Le Petit Cafe. I ordered a marionberry macaron, and, wow. It's a serious contender for a new favorite. The cookie was crisp, light, and a bit airy. The dust on the shell was sour, while the creme filling was sweet. This gave eating it a similar experience to eating a freshly picked blackberry. Certainly one of the most creative macarons I've ever tried. It was a whole experience. I guess it was my lucky day, because as I was ordering, the Barista asked me if I wanted a complimentary coffee drink that had been made by accident. I don't even remember what it was called, but it was amazing. I think it was some kind of vanilla latte. I came back on a second occasion and ordered a 12 ounce caramel latte with a pistachio macaron. I loved the latte, but this time, the macaron was bad. It was so stale that I considered asking for a different flavor. Overall I loved the coffee but found everything to be a little high priced based on the quality. I would still stop by here for a coffee in the future because Troutdale Station has free wifi for customers, and this is the best coffee spot there that I know of. read more

Thank you Le Petit Café for providing my friends and I the pick-me-up we needed during a busy week! Stopped by this lovely spot with a handful of food carts, a bar, and tables. This was a quick stop and all I really needed was fuel to keep me going through the rest of the day. My friend and I shared their biggest size of an iced chai latte. This isn't your normal chai.. it was heaven in a cup. We added vanilla syrup to jazz it up. It was perfect. The chai flavor wasn't too strong or earthy which I love. There was a strong amount of caffeine which i desperately needed. And to top it all off - the drink was not too sweet. It had the perfect balance. We got our drink quickly. Being fromNY and TX we don't have much experience with food truck parks so we weren't expecting much. My husband had a breakfast croissant and a latte. I had an almond croissant and a cappuccino. I have to say- it was probably the best croissant I have ever had- and I've had many in many places - including France. It was crunchy and buttery and soft on the inside. Perfection. Chai Latte. The sandwich was much bigger than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation and generous portions of meat. Based on how it looked, I thought it was going to be heavy on the bread, but it was just right! I thought about saving one of the halves of the sandwich for dinner, but before I knew it, I had finished both halves. Also only thought about taking a picture after I was already done. Second time here, same experience! After owning and running restaurants for over forty years, I'm baffled by the service model here. Three employees, one makes sandwiches and coffee drinks , one cashiers, and the third assembles sandwich plates and carries items eight feet from a to b. Perhaps this is why the service is ridiculously slow or perhaps it's the inability of the sandwich/coffee guy to make more than one drink at a time? I waited an eternity for a mocha and when it finally was delivered to the pick up area by coffee/sandwich guy he said nothing to me or anyone previously. There are a few various ways to improve this situation but I suggest you please train the next barista to stir flavored coffees so all the syrup is not on the bottom. $8.00 with tip, I definitely expect more!
