I ordered the Hope's Mess with eggs over easy, a biscuit, and sausage patty and the youngster ordered the Huevos Rancheros. I was told that Hope was now living my wife's ideal life while her partner lived mine. Hope rolled in later and the partner was there first thing so she was not there. We got drinks as well and waited a perfectly reasonable time for our food. Rich, creamy country gravy, perfectly cooked eggs, good coffee. The pancakes themselves were good, but they came with quite a bit more butter than necessary. We also ordered the chicken fried steak, which was tasty, though the potatoes that came with it tasted like they may have been from the day before.
