The coffee is great, the food items quite good. The ambience used to be better with regard to noise level. I don't live very close but have enjoyed going there to meet a friend for coffee. My last 2 visits were disappointing as the music was so loud it felt like everyone was yelling almost. Recently I went to knock out an hour to do some studying and it was impossible to concentrate with the noise level. What's happened to our culture that it seems everywhere we go nowadays there has to be loud in your face music? What happened to background music so friends can hear each other speak? If you like loud places, then this is perfect but if you don't, don't bother. read more

I finally made it! This place has been on my list since a sweet friend suggested it to me. I've been meaning to come get some work done to get out of my house. Work from home really just means work from anywhere, and i love it! It's obviously adorable, and full of warm lighting and plants, two of my most important checkboxes for a good work space. I got an iced latte with oat milk and managed to have a productive couple of hours before heading out for the weekend. Great coffee spot! We were in town for a few days and this was right by our hotel and we went every morning! So good

First off decor is super cute and drinks are fantastic but unfortunately the barista/girl at the register who took my order was plain RUDE. She made me feel like a burden for ordering a cup of coffee. I had asked for something that I was unaware wasn't on the menu instead of a simple response she chose to point and the menu and tell me that's not on the menu. Maybe she was having a bad day but if that's the case don't take it out on a customer who's there to support the small business. read more

This place is super chic with a pop of color. Loved the space, I will say it was pretty loud when I was in there, lots of conversations and less working when so was in there. The service was excellent it took a minute to look over the menu but was asked multiple times if I'd been help, which was really nice. I wish I lived just a little closer to here because I really love the ambiance here. The ambiance is chill and modern, and the space itself is really big. There's plenty of seating, with smaller tables (seating 1-2) in the front and larger tables/booths towards the back. The decor is modern and just feels really elevated! I came on a Friday afternoon to do some studying, and it was pretty busy. Only one small table was open, so I lucked out. I got a chai latte, and it was great! No complaints there. The only downside to my visit was that even though I could connect to the wifi, it didn't provide any internet. I heard another customer also comment on the wifi, so at least I knew it wasn't just my device. Technical difficulties happen, though - so definitely no fault of their own! One of the workers was even so kind to offer and reset the modem, but I still wasn't able to connect while I was there. But otherwise, I definitely would love to make this a regular study spot. read more

I'm in Denver this week and worked a half day from this coffee shop. They have no specialty beverages but they do have a selection of single origin espressos if you're into that. I ordered an iced vanilla oatmilk latte and it was just okay, disappointing for $8. My husband also ordered a latte, and we took one to go. All three $8 lattes had tons of coffee ground sediment at the bottom of each latte. If I can avoid this happening using my Breville at home, not sure what their issue is... It served my purposes, hence the two stars. But the customer service did nothing to make me add another. read more

This is a very hidden gem underneath apartments in the new downtown Westminster area! I'm so excited that we have a pretty, boutique coffee shop in Westminster! The interior is GORGEOUS! Seriously, this is an awesome place to take friends for a nice chat, read a book, or get some work done. The interior is white with accents of black/gold and plants everywhere! There are little 4 person booths that provide privacy and big tables for bigger groups. They offer a great coffee selection and most are single origin. The tea menu looks unique and curated! They offered 3-4 pastry selections when I visited and had gluten free options. I don't believe they serve food other than the pastry options. They also offer oat milk and other alternative milks. I ordered a seasonal drink that was shaken espresso, orange flavor, and oat milk. It tasted like an orange creamsicle and it was delicious! I will be back many times. We were in the area for a couple of days before heading to Breckenridge, and Sweet Bloom showed up in every Google search for good coffee. Add in that they roast their own beans - an important feature for my husband - and it was a logical place for us to visit. The vibe in here is super cute. There were quite a few people working and studying at tables or catching up with friends. Lots of different seating options, big windows letting in plenty of natural light, and an open feel to the space. The barista was patient and helpful as my husband sorted through which single origin espresso he wanted to try. I had an oat milk latte that was quite good (and used Minor Figures oat milk, something we don't see often around us in the Chicago 'burbs). We liked it so much the first day we came back the next. In addition to our drinks, I ordered a honey cinnamon scone that was out of this world good. My husband had a lemon poppyseed coffee cake that was very tasty. Okay so when I lived in Westminster I was super close to both the Arvada Sweet Bloom and obviously the Westminster location. Both coffee shops had stellar vibes to work from or to just sit and pretend to work on your laptop while you people-watch or watch Tik Toks...who knows what you could be up to! According to Instagram, they sell donuts. I don't even like donuts but the flavors are impressive and I believe they're freshly-made in-house. While I do say that, I've never had one of their donuts. Maybe I don't go there early enough or to the right location? Whenever I've gone, I've never seen them but I would be down to try one. I almost forgot to mention the chocolate coffee cake. It's insanely good. It's like moist but not? But dry enough for you to wash it down with coffee. IN A GOOD WAY. I know dry + cake is not good but trust me. I almost forgot to mention them but didn't because I imagined the pastry case and the little chocolate coffee cake was standing out like it had a halo over it. This review is exclusively for the Westminster branch of Sweet Bloom. I've had great experiences and coffee at the Arvada location, so I decided to try the new Westminster location. The customer service here was lack luster. They acted like you were bothering them to place an order. Rude and not friendly at all. I didn't pay much mind because, from my previous experiences, the coffee at Sweet Bloom is pretty great. Unfortunately this time the coffee was awful. I ordered a latte and it tasted like warm milk. You could barely notice any coffee. I had to go to a separate coffee shop to get what I wanted. I threw it away it tasted so terrible. Will not be visiting this location again. The snotty California vibe is not appealing, but the awful coffee is unforgivable. read more

Sweet Bloom is a consistent go-to for my coffee adventures. I've been visiting their locations for years, and this one remains my favorite. The interior vibe is stunning, very clean and simple, with nice use of plants and occasional color. Even their merchandise shown adds to the decor, rather than being an afterthought like so many shops. All of their drinks are quite good, and the pastries are perfect pairings. I frequent the cortado, but have tried about everything at this point. Many of my friends frequent the vanilla latte with oat milk. Seating isn't terribly comfortable, but it is efficient with its space to fit a decent amount of people given the small shop. I've worked here for hours, met with people, or simply grabbed a quick drink in between things. Baristas are knowledgeable and pleasant, and enjoy a conversation when it's not busy. When it is busy, they don't make you feel rushed or unwelcome in any way. Some complain about the parking, but I quite like it. 4 hours are free in the nearby garage, which is less than a minute's walk. It features free EV car chargers (ChargePoint at roughly 6 kW) and otherwise a nice, covered parking option. JCPenney is adjacent if that's somehow an errand you like to pair with your coffee, and Alamo Drafthouse is also very close. It's an overall great area that I find worth the commute to frequent. read more

This is the best coffee I've had in the Westminster area. Their brewed coffee and their espresso beverages are delicious. The coffee is strong, flavorful, and consistent. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is the customer service. The employees are in no way rude but they're never warm or inviting. Coffee was over priced for one standard size (small), and it tasted TERRIBLE. Dirt water. To make it worse, the lids on their to-go cups don't even adhere to the cup so coffee was spilling in my cup holder all the way home. This place is fancy for nothing with cheap Silo traveler lids.
