This is a great place for coffee, specialty drinks, breakfast or lunch. I have been here numerous times and always had a good (and tasty) experience. When you walk in, it has a warm, inviting vibe. There are a variety of tables and seating options (including some couch and comfy chair type seating). You order by going up to the counter, and they either call your order or will bring it to your table when it is done if you are eating it there. One down side is that there is a fairly large menu and it isn't always easy to find/see all of the options when you are waiting to order. My daughter saw someone got a bubble tea but at the time we were looking, that menu wasn't easy to spot so we didn't even know it was something they offered! All of their food items are made to order (well, I suppose except for the soup which is home made and just dished out to order). They even have soup flights on certain days! I need to go back and try that because every soup I've ever had here has been delicious. They have the standard coffee menu but also always have some unique and quirky seasonal options. They also have smoothies, bubble teas and some other unique creations. They have tasty breakfast and lunch sandwiches, breakfast scrambles, mac and cheese and a variety of sandwiches. You can easily customize your meals and the staff is great about providing recommendations. It can take awhile to get your food/drinks, but that is because everything is made to order. The ambience was nice, and the place was very clean. The menu had way too many options for breakfast orders, which I think contributed to the really long wait in an otherwise uncrowded restaurant. I think many locals order here ahead and pick up. It probably makes the most sense in this bistro. Having said that we ate our breakfast in, and waited almost 20 minutes before we got our coffees. Most of the reviews here are aged significantly. I think this could be a great spot, however, half of my meal was cold after waiting 30 minutes in an otherwise uncrowded restaurant, in spite of the five or six staff behind the counter. read more

There are a few coffee shops in my home town, but I'm happy to drive 20 minutes out of my way to Sweet Buzz. Really good food and really good coffee. Wait staff is pleasant, not overly in-your-face happy, and know their product. Not the most modern or classy decor, but it's certainly comfortable and inviting. I was glad to see this bistro take over the spot once belonging to a bank. This little plaza is located on a prime spot along Route 130 and it certainly would be a shame to see a vacant store front. Having said this, I finally had a chance to stop in on a Saturday. I had no idea they offered so many different food options. I figured they had coffee, teas and light bakery and snacking items but I found out that they also have a great breakfast menu that is served daily up until 10:30AM During the later part of the day you can order burgers, footlong hotdogs, various sandwiches, wraps and at least 8 different salads, soups, and quesadillas. I am curious in trying the Salmon BLT with chipotle peach sauce. By the way, everything ending in an "s" is converted into a "z" on their menu to go along with the bee theme. Clever. Oh, and yes, there are plenty of good coffee and dessert options to choose from. They did a wonderful job converting this former bank into a fun and inviting bistro. The only drawback that I noticed while I was there is that the ventilation system seems to be lacking and all the cooking odors weigh heavily in the eating area and on your clothes. read more

My mom and I stopped in here for breakfast one morning. I ordered the bagel sandwich and my mom ordered a portabella mushroom sandwich ciabatta bread. Both orders came with tater tot rounds. It took a long time for our orders to come out, and we were the only people in the place when we ordered. We got our orders to-go. When We got home, we checked the food out. The menu items were a little pricey in my opinion, but you definitely get what you pay for. My eggs were piled up sky high with a good amount of cheese. My mom really enjoyed her sandwich too. I was finally able to stop here today while out with my mother-in-law. We like to sit outside when the weather's nice, so I thought this would be a good choice. We stopped in right at lunchtime, and the place was pretty busy. The menu is the perfect size...not too many choices, but enough. The have breakfast items, burgers and sandwiches, footlong hotdogs, salads, soups, and quesadillas. My mother in law got the Roasted Turkey Avocado BeeLT and I chose the Roasted Turkey Swiss Bacon Sandwich. Each is served with your choice of tater tots, chips, coleslaw, or a piece of fruit...we both got coleslaw. We were given a number, got our drinks, and went outside. For as busy as they were for lunch, I was actually surprised we got our food as quickly as we did. While I noticed that several other yelpers stated that the wait time was long, this was not the case today. We wait approximately 4 - 5 minutes for our sandwiches and coleslaw, which also came with a pickle. Both meals were good and just enough to eat...to the point where I was full but not stuffed by any means. I prefer my coleslaw vinegary as opposed to creamy, but it was quite good. More Pros: Nice, clean atmosphere. Perfect for breakfast or lunch. The dining and outside areas are such that you could sit for a while with your laptop or iPad or whatever Starbucks style, if you're into that (free WiFi). There are also a few large booths, big enough for a party of six of seven, if you pull a chair up to the end of the booth. Lots of healthy options if you're feeling like that's the way to go. But they also serve burgers, hotdogs, and pastries, if you just wanna say who cares, I eat what I want! Cons: As Renee stated, the ventilation isn't the best and, although we sat outside, I could still smell food on my clothes after we left. Meh. And, even though many of the items are reasonably priced, I feel some of the menu items are a little on the expensive side. But then again, I'm super cheap, so...you decide. read more

I am impressed with this place. I've been here for breakfast twice now, and both times it's been fantastic. Be advised, they stop serving the breakfast menu at 10:30am, and if you're in a hurry consider calling ahead to avoid the wait time. Sweet Buzz offers a few loose leaf teas and specialty drinks, including smoothies and chai lattes, for non-coffee drinkers. They also have gluten free bagels and wraps on hand!! Pretty rare for a breakfast cafe. I was not aware of that during my first visit, so I had the "skillet" - eggs scrambled with veggies and meats and served in a mini skillet atop signature tater tots. For my second visit I ordered the "breakfast buzzer" on a gluten free bagel - ham, spinach, cheese, bacon, and fried egg, also served with tater tots. Both were excellent, and both were full meals that would easily last me an entire day. Definitely a good spot to hit. read more

I don't want to write a book, so here are some bullet points: *Food is great clearly they put time and effort into maintaining a healthy yet tasty menu *coffee is okay. Nothing to write home about. Better than Starbucks or Dunkin though. They should refocus. *they have a nice little outdoor patio, but it is right next to a busy road. I loved this place! One of my friends lives close, so we visited for lunch one day. I loved all of the coffee décor and beautiful colors. You reach the counter and are greeted by so many delicious looking pastries. The environment as well as the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I love the feel of the local hometown coffee shop where the employees get to know the customers and the owners have their hands in the product instead of a chain coffee shop. I saw they had chicken tortilla soup on the lunch special menu, so I was ecstatic since it is my favorite. However, when I went to order they were out of it so that was a bummer. They have a pretty large menu consisting of breakfast, burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, soups, and quesadillas. I decided on the BeeLT with tater tots. The bread was hearty, the bacon was delicious, and the tater tots were perfect! We went during lunch hours and I was worried about the amount of time it would take for our orders to come out based on other reviews. However, they came out extremely quick so I was very impressed! Everything just takes forever to come out and the kids working there are not properly trained. The layout is also completely awkward. The line to order forms through the seating area. Please train these kids better. My last visit I ordered two milkshakes to go and only one came out to go. It was also a solid 15 minutes for a milkshake with no one in the place. read more

This is the most charming coffee shop from the cute decor vibe to the extensive menu options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The salads are huge and all made fresh. The egg skillet breakfast can be shared its so big. And the case of pastries are incredible!! You can sit outside on their porch and when we go I take my dog who is welcome. They always have dog bowls on the porch for your use. I recently discovered the mexican hot chocolate which became my winter drink and hoping they will put it on the menu for year round. Service is always quick, you can be in and out in 1/2 hour there but always more than welcome to stay too. Its a relaxing place to just hang and have some social time. Great atmosphere, warm, inviting and for lack of a better word hip. It is a locally owned business, and as it says on the door owned by a veteran. They have inside seating and a nice outdoor patio that pets are welcome on. The food is great. I have been hooked since the 1st time I tried it. The only down side would be that sometimes the food isn't as good at it was the 1st time. Staff is always nice and helpful even though some seem a bit young. All and all it is a great place, my newest favorite place. I am hoping the longer they stay in business they better they will become. They also seem to use natural fresh ingerdiants. read more

I really really want to love this place and give it 5 stars. The food is incredible, atmosphere is comfy and cute, and I love small business coffee shops. However the service needs a lot of work. The first time I visited was not long after they opened. I ordered a cup of soup that they had on special. It was lunch time so I expected them to be busy. My friends and I took our seats and waited for our cups of soup to come out (we all ordered the same thing). We waited...and waited... and waited. Finally after 20 minutes one of the "servers" came over and asked us what we ordered. We told her, and she disappeared into the back. about 5 minutes later we came out with our soup and rolls of utensils in napkins. Starving, I undid my napkin to find that I was not given a spoon. I went back and waited in line for another 5 minutes to ask for one. The soup was really great, and the bread that came with it was just okay- probably would've been good if it wasn't cold. The "server" definitely was having her patience tested and seemed to be stressed out because she rolled her eyes a few times and mumbled things under her breath. Giving this place a second chance, I decided to get a latte to go on my way to class. Thank goodness I had extra time on my hands because after I ordered my latte (with no line in front of me) they gave me a number and told me to have a seat. It took just under 8 minutes to finally get my latte. Delivered in a paper cup with no lid. Coffee isn't incredible but its not bad either. This place absolutely has potential and as a business I understand that they need to get their kinks worked out. I would suggest this place if you aren't in a rush.
