Photo of what I wanted or very close to.

This is not meant to be a negative review just honest feedback. The cake tasted ok nothing wrong with it. My thing is the price they charged didn't meet the quality I expected aesthetically. I reserved the cake almost 3 wks before I needed it and mentioned I have 4 extra toppers (blox fruit characters) on top of what was in the 1st sample pic which had 8 to make it easier on them and less work on their side. On the text agreement nothing was said that it would be extra $ for making the little weapons and extra blox fruit characters so it can be very similar to what I wanted just like on the sample pic. So when I went in the bakery to drop off deposit and the 4 toppers I bought, I was told by another worker that the little weapons and rest of characters would be extra to make, so I thought I'd prefer not to because 100$ for a cake plus extra $$ for the weapons/ characters is a bit too much for a single layer 6" cake. So the 2nd pic was what I received. I had to replace the paper "7" because it wasn't a candle I can light to blow or not edible either. The name was also paper didn't match my sample which looks edible/ better looking. My sample pic had 8 blox fruit characters, the cake I received only had 4 which was the ones I provided, you would've thought they'd make an effort to make the other 4 that was missing from sample pic for the money you'd pay. So upon receiving the cake I thought man this cake is way too plain looking for the price. Only custom thing made aesthetically was the blue bricks. The paper 7 and name on the cake made it feel like cheap quality, just my opinion. I feel like communication could be better when discussing details upon agreement, I expected a bit more effort for the price. One more thing about communication, pls let the customer know when it's ready especially when they already sent a message to ask if it is and had to follow up for the 2nd time on the day of pickup. I know I could've bought a better tasting cake with out the nice looks but for kids I think that's what matters more, the excitement of having a jaw dropping looking cake but he wasn't too excited when he first saw it. I would still recommended to try them out! Maybe the cake I wanted was too difficult for them to make.

    My hopes and expectations

Would give this place zero stars if I could. I asked a month in advance if a specific cake could be made for me. We agreed to the price of $120. This is what I hoped for versus what I received. I asked a month in advance if the beetle design was manageable. They reassured me it was doable. The ingredients usrd to make the beetle would change but I was okay with it, emphasizing that they make the beetles lool nice. I specifically went to this bakery because they said they could do the beetles. They had reference images as to what the bestle should have looked like. Today I was presented the ugliest cake decorations I have ever seen. I was immensely disappointed. Told them to remove the beetles all together due to fucking ugly they were. 120 dollars for this?! I emphasized how important this cake was for me and I am presented with what looks like an elementary school project as the main decorations. This wasn't a professional job. They refuse to give a partial refund as well. I was given promises and held them to an expectation and they disappointed me on all factors on the food, customer service, and price. Cake wasn't worth the price. Tasted just like a grocery store cake. I immensely regret my financial decision in trusting this bakery to do a good service. Do NOT go here unless you really want to waste your money. You can buy their cake flavors anywhere else. Fuck off in all honesty.

Loved loved loved the chocolate covered strawberries! They delivered beyond what we asked for! Perfect for my daughter's prom send off party

    Bear Cake

Best bakery hands down!! The employees are so helpful and their prices are very reasonable! Found out about them just by doing a google search and decided to try them out and ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday party. I came in with a picture of a Bear Cake because that was our theme and they surpassed our expectations once it was time to pick up our cake! Aside from how beautiful it looked, it was also delicious! This will be our go to for any cakes from now on. My only regret is that I did not post this review quicker!

One of the most tasty cakes I ever had.

Basically everything in here is yummy!! And what's awesome is that a lot of the desserts feel very guilt free. To add icing on the cake (see what I did there) it's really affordable. I highly recommend.

Thank you so much Vanessa for the beautiful cake. Everyone loved the flavors. The cake looked amazing and it was delicious and moist.

Cute spot with the sweetest staff (pun intended ;P) Had to make a quick stop and they were so helpful. The cupcakes looked amazing (as per my picture.) I happen to get there right before they were closing, so didn't see the display but I really liked how the cupcakes looked. It's 4 for $10 or $3 each. I was being indecisive and she ended up giving me extras so I could taste them, so nice! The cheesecakes are good with legit graham crust, the cupcakes are not overly sweet.

I am so glad I found this hidden gem! I'm a huge fan and supporter of small businesses. The lady was so kind and took her time going over pricing and type of desserts I was looking for. I told her how many I was looking to order and then quickly sent me a quote. Talk about great prices!!!! The cupcakes and cake pops were not only delicious, but they were make perfect!!! I told her I already had the cutouts so I just wanted plain cake pops and sprinkled cupcakes. Everyone loved the desserts and was asking where I ordered them from. So of course I raved about them!!! Thank you ladies so very much for everything!!!! You gals rock and I look forward to the next event so I can order again! Keep up the great work!!!!!

I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's birthday and Vanessa made it exactly how I pictured it. The cake was very moist and everyone raves about it. The filling was not too sweet and tasted very fresh. They even delivered the cake to my home. Excellent customer service I will definitely order from them again. I ordered another custom cake for my son and she again exceeded my expectations. The cake was a hit with everyone.

Laura and Carol were especially warm, cheerful, and attentive, which made the experience even better. We ordered the chilaquiles and the breakfast sandwich, and both were fantastic. The chilaquiles were fresh and full of flavor with crispy tortilla chips topped with a rich green sauce, egg, cheese, and red onion. The breakfast sandwich was a generous portion on a warm brioche bun with thick bacon, egg, chipotle sauce, and fresh greens. We also tried the churros, which were clearly made fresh to order. They were not overly sweet, perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The horchata coffee was absolutely divine and something I would come back just for. Everything here is made fresh, and you can taste the difference. The outdoor seating area with music created such a joyful, relaxing atmosphere and made the whole morning feel special. It was a simple mistake but did not mean she could yell at her co worker and a paying customer. I usually go to Oakobing in Ktown, but I'm so happy to have a place this good much closer to home. My husband and I recently stopped by for the injeolmi bingsoo, and it absolutely blew my mind. It came topped with red beans, a rich peanut butter-like paste (I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it was delicious), a generous dusting of injeolmi powder, and condensed milk on the side to drizzle over everything. As you dig into the fluffy shaved ice, you're rewarded with surprise chunks of chewy mochi hidden throughout, and I believe there were even more red beans waiting at the bottom. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture. It was so good that I'm craving another bowl just thinking about it. *Drools* I'm not sure how busy it gets during the day since we've only visited after dinner, but we've always found plenty of parking. It's the perfect dessert spot to cool off on a hot summer evening, and definitely one I'd recommend if you're in the area.

There is a little history buried inside Noon Korean Bingsoo House. Before Noon, this same…read morestorefront was Oncle's Cafe, a Korean inspired dessert and coffee shop that opened here in 2022. Somewhere along the way Oncle became Noon, the cakes and coffee gave more ground to bingsoo and the place changed enough that I still occasionally catch myself comparing what is there now with what I remember being there before. That may be part of why I have kept coming back. I remember Oncle being one of those easy little places where the service felt unusually attentive. Young guys behind the counter who seemed genuinely engaged, checking on things, keeping the room moving, making the whole experience feel cared for. Noon still occupies the same address and the bones of a good dessert shop are obviously still there, but the experience today feels considerably more transactional. The bingsoo itself is not bad. The machine is doing what it is supposed to do. The ice has that fine, soft, almost snow like texture that separates good Korean bingsoo from somebody simply attacking a block of ice with machinery. The problem, for me, is everything they put on top of it. I have tried enough of the menu at this point that I don't think this is a matter of choosing the wrong flavor. Strawberry, mango, the more elaborate combinations they consistently lean too sweet. Syrups, sauces, creams, fruit. Eventually all that sugar begins flattening the very thing that makes bingsoo so good. The delicacy of the ice itself. Instead of tasting individual ingredients, you start tasting sweetness in several different costumes. That is where Noon loses me compared with the better versions of this dessert. A great bingsoo lets you keep eating because nothing overwhelms anything else. Here, a few spoonfuls in, I'm usually wishing someone had simply stopped adding things. Then there is the experience of going. Parking in this plaza at the wrong hour can turn dessert into a minor logistical exercise. The lot is tight, dinner traffic makes it worse and the alternative is hunting around outside. Once you make it in, seating operates with that awkward first come first served ambiguity where someone who ordered after you can apparently have a table secured while you stand there holding dessert and waiting for another group to leave. The room itself often feels oddly unattended. Tables linger before being cleared. Surfaces can feel sticky. Nobody seems particularly responsible for making the dining room feel reset between customers. When it gets crowded, all of that compounds. People hovering for seats, groups talking over one another, trays sitting around, everyone negotiating the room themselves. None of this makes Noon terrible. That is probably the important distinction. The actual shaved ice is good. Some of the combinations are enjoyable. There are plenty of people who will probably prefer the sweeter style more than I do. And clearly the place has found an audience. Noon's current social presence identifies it as a Gardena bingsoo shop at this same Western Avenue location. I just find myself wondering why I keep making the effort. Maybe some of it is nostalgia for Oncle. Maybe I keep hoping the next visit will recover whatever made the old place feel more personal. But when getting dessert requires fighting for parking, negotiating a table, sitting in a room that feels half managed and then eating bingsoo that is considerably sweeter than I want it to be, there are easier ways to spend an evening.
