Boneless chicken biryani. Lots of chicken breast chunks!
    Aidan I.

Just picked up some boneless chicken biryani to go. I was politely greeted by the lady at the front. The wait for my food was quick, about 7 minutes. While sitting and waiting I browsed through the menu, Another employee came up to me and asked if I was ready to order. So I guess I would give there customer service 5 stars. This place is definitely a dive, but the prices make up for it. Overall the biryani was pretty good. I was really pleased to find pieces of chicken breast, instead of dark meat. Not the best biryani I have ever had, but it was pretty good. I'll definitely come back though and try something else on the menu.

Fast service, food was made to order and two pieces of naan were included in the order. Would come here again

Bombay is owned by the sweetest family - Rita is passionate and cares about her guests and has truly made something magical with the menu. They serve all the traditional Indian flavors, and some exclusive like the 65 sauce which is only available here, and twisted them into yummy dishes like pizzas, wings, tacos, burritos, and more. Have you heard of Indian beer? Wine? I hadn't either, but it's a delight. That Rupee Gold is a delicious option. You can dine in and watch Bollywood on the screen or just enjoy all of the dishes. The mango smoothie is a treat for dessert!

This food genre would be labeled as Indian Street Food. This seems to be a very popular choice for take out as people were coming in for their orders the entire time we were in the restaurant. We were presented with a sample of the 3 most popular curries: Tikka Missala; Makhani; and Chicken 65. Pur server was very helpful in making selections as we let her know this was our first visit. We chose a chicken tikka missala and lamb curry with garlic butter naan. Both dishes were very tasty to say the least. The interior is tastefully decorated and is quite welcoming. Thanks to our Foodie Card we received $10 off an order of $30. We will be back!

Chose this restaurant based on other Yelp reviews and was not disappointed!…read more Unassuming entrance in Eastern Market opens to a beautiful and thoughtfully done interior. The portions are great, food was authentic and tasty. Service was perfectly attentative without being overbearing. We had the tempura vegetables as an appetizer which was excellent. Our main dishes were great as well. Know that you'll be asked mild medium or hot on spices and medium had me SWEATING. I don't think I'd survive the hot.

I get that I'm older, and probably not the clientele they are looking for, but they have never ever been attentive, even when like yesterday I was the only one sitting at the bar. They genuinely make me feel like they don't want me on there and am more of a nuisance to them. Fooswise, I have can't really say anything great about it. It's pretty basic, you can get better Indian food from so many other places in the metro area. I was hoping that their menu might be more adventurous and interesting but it was pretty run of the mill. It's not bad food by any means, but it's not going to impress you either. As far as their cocktail menu goes, I don't think they have a true cocktail lead, the drinks range from basic and uninspired to kind of gross. Being from Kerala I was interested in the Kerala Mule, and boy did I regret it. Either they don't like South Indians and purposely made it terrible or they need to taste their drinks before putting it on the menu. The more standard drinks were very well made. Aesthetically this is a beautiful spot. They really brought the colors and the design. The DJ stand being an old Indian motorcycle is a great touch. The pool table in the center of the restaurant is lovely as is the colorful umbrellas that adorn the ceiling. Visually an eye catching spectacle that really heightens the experience. At night this turns into more of a club feel, the dark lighting and the DJ can make it a fun night out. Bonus point for having an old Aishwarya Rai movie on the big screen. So while I might not specifically come for the food, I would come and have a more classic cocktail or beer and either start or end my night here, assuming I wasn't ignored the whole time.
