I was about to order the ribs but wanted something a lil different & decided to give the brisket nachos a try!! And DAMN am I glad that I did!! After placing my order(I was advised to get the small by the really sweet woman who took my order) because she said it would feed 2. I paid, waited and when I picked up my nachos, my eyes popped outta my head. My plate looked like it could feed 4 not two!!!! AND it was heavy!!! When I finally got back to my seat(after being stopped several times to point to where I gotten my food)I dug into what I can only describe as the absolute BEST brisket nachos that I have EVER had in my life! I thought I'd died & gone to food heaven! Let me tell you....the meat was flavorful & tender & plentiful! And it was just the right(not skimpy)amount of toppings which were layered all throughout the chips to the bottom of my plate & not just "on top!" And you could tell that the beans, cheese, & cilantro....were all FRESH! This was my 4th time attending this festival(I'll be back next year) & I'm praying that S&E's Food Team will be back as well cuz I'm DEFINITELY grabbing me another plate of their scrumptious nachos!! The plus side this time around is that they have a completely covered area to eat your food. Picnic benches are laid out with a full awning. Parking is still great. Prices have gone up for both the tickets and parking so be prepared to pay $15 for parking and $15 to get inside. Services dependent on what vendor you buy your food from some will accommodate the request and others will not. Of course if there's no accommodation to the customer, they've lost my business.

However, the admission fees, parking fees, OUTRAGEOUS costs for food and drinks (spent over $200), was just over the top for us. I knew going in that we were going to splurge a little, however, the cost of some of these food items were INSANE. Truly, some of the best bites was the Birria Eggroll and the Alligator Bites, probably the couple of the cheapest things I bought! The Mango Ube Sticky Rice was also delicious. We also did the silly thing of buying the $30 baby bottle filled with Mango Pineapple Lemonade. It was yummy, and yes, the product itself is silly, but VERY cheap in that the top cracked and eventually was spilling on us throughout the day. We had to eventually throw it away; $30 in the trash. Luckily, we did the smart thing by arriving at 4:00pm (gates opened at 3:00pm) and we left by 8:00pm. Seeing the place fill up and the lines after leaving was shocking! We did not have to wait more than 15 minutes at any food vendor booth. I have read nothing but disappointment from frequent 626 Night Market attendees in the raising costs and mediocre food. I was not super impressed. There were plenty of vendors and I am in support of small businesses, but once again, VERY overpriced. Plus, we came strictly to try the foods. Thanks for the memories, but I will gladly be taking my $200+ for a much better dining experience elsewhere.

Not as lively as more popular spots I've been to, but there were a few people in line. You do get the vibe that this spot is a favorite among locals. I ordered a vampiro (crunchier tortilla with a layer of caramelized cheese that holds the meat and toppings) with asada and two al pastor tacos. Usually, I can eat that easily, but with the portions here, it was a bit of a chore. The smoky flavors and fresh toppings and salsa were all on point. They were very generous on the meat! Flavorful and assembled to perfection by friendly cooks! All the fixings were available on the side: radish, cucumbers, lime, onions, cilantro. At $12 per burrito (poster sign says $10 so I'm assuming $2 extra for asada. No, I didn't ask. I was hungry), reasonable price and well worth it! The burritos were huge! They post their location, date and time on their Instagram. Not sure how else they take payments but we used Zelle.
