I attended the "City of Lights Jazz & R & B Fest" in Las…read moreVegas last weekend.(April 25th & 26th)After checking out the food vendors...I spotted S&E's & walked over to check out their menu. I was about to order the ribs but wanted something a lil different & decided to give the brisket nachos a try!! And DAMN am I glad that I did!! After placing my order(I was advised to get the small by the really sweet woman who took my order) because she said it would feed 2. I paid, waited and when I picked up my nachos, my eyes popped outta my head. My plate looked like it could feed 4 not two!!!! AND it was heavy!!! When I finally got back to my seat(after being stopped several times to point to where I gotten my food)I dug into what I can only describe as the absolute BEST brisket nachos that I have EVER had in my life! I thought I'd died & gone to food heaven! Let me tell you....the meat was flavorful & tender & plentiful! And it was just the right(not skimpy)amount of toppings which were layered all throughout the chips to the bottom of my plate & not just "on top!" And you could tell that the beans, cheese, & cilantro....were all FRESH! This was my 4th time attending this festival(I'll be back next year) & I'm praying that S&E's Food Team will be back as well cuz I'm DEFINITELY grabbing me another plate of their scrumptious nachos!! (but I think I'll get the pulled pork next time!!)

"I respond I want it because I can afford it and she said "be nice." The passive aggressiveness did not equate to the pricing, meal or service. I expected the food to be top Tier since the price was so Expensive. We waited 20 minutes in line and 9 minutes off to the side for our food and an additional 10 minutes for our drinks ultimately the food was a 3 out of 10.The cheese was from a can, the Mac and cheese/ greens didn't have any flavor. Not worth the $100 price tag for 1 nacho, 2 drinks, Mac and cheese and greens.

The plus side this time around is that they have a completely covered area to eat your food. Picnic benches are laid out with a full awning. Parking is still great. Prices have gone up for both the tickets and parking so be prepared to pay $15 for parking and $15 to get inside. Services dependent on what vendor you buy your food from some will accommodate the request and others will not. Of course if there's no accommodation to the customer, they've lost my business.

[Parking]: $15 per vehicle for on-site parking just to enter the OC Fair & Event Center. [Admission]: Our party purchased the same-day tickets and paid a $16 per person entry fee. [What to expect]: The market was approximately half food vendors and half arts / crafts / gift vendors. There were solid craft and gift vendors, but not too many art vendors. The food was extremely overpriced ... a simple appetizer = at least $15+ & a filling meal = at least $25. The only real positive? There was a mahjong area that offered free lessons. The performance stage was alright. [Food]: Our party ended up getting only 6 pieces of soup dumplings (aka XLB) from Dumpling Dream for $14 and a cup of gelatea from Boutcha for $7.20 (one of the most affordable and best item to get at the market). [Conclusion]: If I ever come back to 626 Night Market, I would probably stick with the Arcadia location as parking is free and the admission fee is slightly cheaper. I am still having a hard time digesting the fact that getting into the market cost $30+ before even buying any food if I come here alone and I would also need to spend another $25+ just to feel like I had eaten a legit meal. I am good with this one-and-done visit.

Found this gem of a taco spot that is just as good as the best I've had anywhere I've had in Southern California. They're usually open late, the portions are pretty darn large, and the prices are more than reasonable. They have a great assortment of toppings and salsas and make their tortillas fresh. This place pretty much checks all the important boxes for me personally when it comes to taco spots I love. I came here late at night and the line wasn't too crazy. Not as lively as more popular spots I've been to, but there were a few people in line. You do get the vibe that this spot is a favorite among locals. I ordered a vampiro (crunchier tortilla with a layer of caramelized cheese that holds the meat and toppings) with asada and two al pastor tacos. Usually, I can eat that easily, but with the portions here, it was a bit of a chore. The smoky flavors and fresh toppings and salsa were all on point. The horchata I got to wash everything down was also very good. A true gem of a spot in the Inland Empire.
