I attended the "City of Lights Jazz & R & B Fest" in Las Vegas last weekend.(April 25th & 26th)After checking out the food vendors...I spotted S&E's & walked over to check out their menu. I was about to order the ribs but wanted something a lil different & decided to give the brisket nachos a try!! And DAMN am I glad that I did!! After placing my order(I was advised to get the small by the really sweet woman who took my order) because she said it would feed 2. I paid, waited and when I picked up my nachos, my eyes popped outta my head. My plate looked like it could feed 4 not two!!!! AND it was heavy!!! When I finally got back to my seat(after being stopped several times to point to where I gotten my food)I dug into what I can only describe as the absolute BEST brisket nachos that I have EVER had in my life! I thought I'd died & gone to food heaven! Let me tell you....the meat was flavorful & tender & plentiful! And it was just the right(not skimpy)amount of toppings which were layered all throughout the chips to the bottom of my plate & not just "on top!" And you could tell that the beans, cheese, & cilantro....were all FRESH! This was my 4th time attending this festival(I'll be back next year) & I'm praying that S&E's Food Team will be back as well cuz I'm DEFINITELY grabbing me another plate of their scrumptious nachos!! "I respond I want it because I can afford it and she said "be nice." The passive aggressiveness did not equate to the pricing, meal or service. I expected the food to be top Tier since the price was so Expensive. We waited 20 minutes in line and 9 minutes off to the side for our food and an additional 10 minutes for our drinks ultimately the food was a 3 out of 10.The cheese was from a can, the Mac and cheese/ greens didn't have any flavor. S&E's entire team is incredible in every way! They attend an annual event in my city every year, and without fail we go visit them EVERY time as soon as we get there! Even when the line is down the sidewalk and around the corner (because everyone loves it). They feel like family every time we see them, they even remember us each year! Everything we ordered was INCREDIBLE! We ate the ribs, mac n cheese, brisket sandwich, pulled pork nachos, hot links and coleslaw. The staff were friendly, respectful and attentive. We came across this family-owned goodness at a city's multicultural event. This vendor was one of many there but one that had the most line during the event. I was glad to have tried the brisket nachos as the brisket was running low shortly after we ordered. You can tell that they are family-owned and takes pride in the food that they serve. I was quiet taken aback at the portion that they give! They used half of a styrofoam box and it was filled beautifully and creatively with chips, salsa, onions, cilantro, beans, sour cream, cheese, and of course, brisket! The juices from the brisket mixed with all of the ingredients and it just makes you want to eat more of it! The brisket are very tender and generously shredded around the plate. I wish this picture does it justice. The flavor was amazing, the customer service was superb. The ambiance is great! Had food at Barn after the poker ride and I wasn't impressed. Pulled pork bun bottom was so soggy it was mush. Cole slaw had very little sauce, if any and bbq beans tasted like they were canned beans...all for $25 which was over priced. Food service was a line that was quick. All in all I would have preferred the scout's hamburger or hot dogs. The Barn is beautiful. Light, airy and a great place to have events. Don't know what the City charges. read more

I ordered the 3 item plate with 1 rib, 1 hot link and some brisket with Cole slaw and beans. The hot link was split open and burned, the brisket was mostly fat, the coleslaw had no personality whatsoever, I didn't try the beans from the smell alone and THE PLATE WAS $41! We had the opportunity to try their food at the Vegas Jazz show, the food was great. We had a 4 piece mix meat combo, with Mac & Cheese and Mixed greens. So good it reminded me of the south and we are from Louisiana. It was amazing to see them working extremely well with such dangerous high winds. However, it was disappointing to find that I paid $36 for a mountain of chips covered with a small layer of dry brisket. $20 would still be expensive for what I got but at least it would be somewhat fair. I hit up their food truck at the Norco Fair, and it was delicious. The people were great (it looks like a family affair, and it's good to see teenagers learn to hustle), and they make the smart move of breaking down meat in full public view (look at the juices streaming out of that brisket). And the meat is delicious. The pulled pork is so tender it doesn't get pulled apart--it gets massaged apart. It's a little pricey, but A) I was at a fair, so everything's a little higher than you think it will be, and B) I got what I paid for: delicious bbq all weekend. Worth it. :) read more

They were at st Patrick's day festival in SD. There was a long line (not necessarily their fault, it was super busy) finally got up to order and for a brisket sandwich with Mac and beans was $33! I had already waited in line and I didn't want to step out. The food was not bad. But the portions were so small for what I paid. And idk how I felt about the children working but that might have had to do with why the portions were so small. read more

This is by far one of the best businesses I have ever followed! I have eaten this AMAZING food for over 10 years now. The excellent customer service is definitely five starters. The variety of menu is extraordinary. You will always receive your food when in line at a reasonable time . Very disappointed in the way this company handled certain situations yesterday at the Fall Festival at Harada park in Eastvale. The food was cold and my friend found something hard in pork. It was not burnt pork. She said it tasted horrible. Her husbands Mac and cheese and meat was cold. When closing up her grandson or however he was got in a fit with my 5 year old. I went to approach them and she said kids fight and had an attitude on her. That is not an excuse!!! No remorse whatsoever for how my child was feeling. My child was playing with his group of friends and this child pushed and hit my child. Yes my child hit him back after he was pushed and hit. Even after I asked if their child was okay nothing out of their mouth....Very un called for. They were very rude and are hostile. When they left the field their was children present playing on the field. This company was in their car and was honking their horn aggressively at the children. I'm sorry their is a way to ask people to move in a polite manner and not scare them. That was definitely reckless and dangerous. Their parents were furious about how this company was acting. Very poor customer service also. I'm all for supporting family owned businesses but come on you need to change they way you conduct your business. This is definitely not a race thing either.
