One of the best Al pastor spots I love when they add guac and salsa on the tacos very similar to el gordo style. Also love the handmade fresh tortillas too. Decently price wouldn't say the cheapest but definitely good quality. Must try their Al pastor and asada. I get their lengua too it's also good. read more

01/24/25 There are many street food vendors popping up in Long Beach and I've tried a few. But this one here.... it's a yes for me all day! We ordered 2 carne asada burritos. They were very generous on the meat! Flavorful and assembled to perfection by friendly cooks! All the fixings were available on the side: radish, cucumbers, lime, onions, cilantro. At $12 per burrito (poster sign says $10 so I'm assuming $2 extra for asada. No, I didn't ask. I was hungry), reasonable price and well worth it! The burritos were huge! They post their location, date and time on their Instagram. Not sure how else they take payments but we used Zelle. Well lit canopies and their set-up was along a street that has a little bit of traffic flow but not like a main street. 10/10 - I'm definitely coming back! read more

Saw the truck on the side of the road so I pulled over to try it of course. WORTH IT. Just got a humble 2 tacos for $5! Al pastor -GREAT and comes with lots of meat, avocado sauce, red sauce cilantro onion and home made tortilla! Just a truck, but had small table space for probably 5-10 people. Service seemed fast for me, but I only ordered 2 tacos. This place is good eats! Go go go! read more

A game-changer for late-night taco cravings! This is my second time having Tacos El Chivo (had at two different locations.) What sets them apart from other taco stands is their al pastor from a vertical rotisserie with pineapple and handmade tortillas! No need to drive out to LA anymore since it's conveniently located just down the street. All their sauces are all really good and adds the perfect kick to each bite. They post their location pop-ups on Instagram, usually with 2-3 spots in North OC. Highly recommend for a quick and satisfying taco fix! The service is quick even if the line gets long, and they make sure you have all the toppings and sauces you need. They also take zelle, so don't worry about bringing cash! read more

Tacos El Chico is a taco truck that's open late at night. They advertise through their Instagram what city and times they're open which is helpful. They have a Placentia location that's open past 2 am. Tacos were reasonably priced. They're known for their al pastor tacos and they definitely didn't disappoint. You can sit on tables that they provide in front of their food truck. I also got a hot dog that was priced pretty high at $8.00. The hot dog just had a bunch of bell peppers and tasted not that great. I was hoping for a bacon wrapped dirty dog so this $8.00 hot dog was extremely disappointing for the price . We got a pastor burrito, 2 chicken tacos, 1 pastor taco, 2 cabeza tacos. Pastor was so greasy with no flavor at all... burrito was covered in grease. I took 3 bites and tossed the rest. Horchata was watered down and had clearly been sitting for a long time. Chicken was good but then tortillas had been made a lot earlier in the day and were chewy.. This place realllllllllly rocks my socks. I know it's a curbside vendor but don't let the pop up vibe make you skip it. Pull over and check out what Tacos El Chico is all about. Their ingredients are fresh and tasty. They also hand make their tortillas right in front of you while you wait. My go to is the Al pastor with the pineapple. Make sure to follow their instagram to locate where their pop ups are for the day. Instagram : @tacos.elchivo. Their fast and friendly service is sooooo good. One thing be aware of their portions. Tacos are great. Vampiro is amazing. Both Carne asada and al pastor are good. My friends liked the cabeza too. Sauces are amazing. Corn tortilla is pressed right in front of you I guess they move around / have multiple locations. I had them on east Riverdale Ave and n Lakeview Ave in anaheim. Great authentic street taco stand. Food is flavorful and price is right. Cant go wrong with either taco asada or taco al pastor. The al pastor is extremely juicy and flavorful. Its on a spit and fire roasted. Follow their instagram feed in order to find their hours of operation and location. They usually have a stand in san pedro, 2 in anaheim and one in Fullerton. The burritos are also tasty and very filling. Ive been them multiple times and never got sick so i assume their food handling is clean but eat at your own risk. read more

Was craving tacos tonight's. I enter Tacos El Chivo in my navigation and while on the road. I decided to go to my normal spot. Well guess what it was closed tonight. Then it was onto my 2nd go to spot. Closed too! Guess it was FATE that led me back to Taco El Chivo! Not lying! Haha. Walked up and was like okay this spot is legit. Handmade tortillas and al pastor on the spindle with the pineapple! Got 1 asada and 2 al pastors and fresca naranja. Best combo right there. My go to spot here for Al Pastor tacos. Al Pastor tacos come with pineapple which is a big plus. Tortillas are hand made and fresh. They also have cucumbers and rabanos and some pickled onions as toppings. The crew is always super nice and helpful. read more

Wow.. finally hit this spot just now and it was delicious!! Some of the best pastor I've ever had...Bucher was delish and carne asada burrito was bomb... red salsa has some nice kick! They switch locations sometimes and you can find them a few miles away near the old Payless and target. Lines can get really long at peak times so be prepared for a potential wait. That being said can't really find any legit tacos spots at night in Yorba Linda- highly recommend the asada burrito and cabeza tacos. Would be 5 stars but once got bad food poisoning after getting the pollo. But still coming back after that so it must be pretty good lol! read more

Great food. We've had their food many times. The burritos and quesadillas with meat are my favorites. So that the food is hot, I take the food back to the SUV pull out the folding chair, and watch the game while eating out the back. This works the best at the Lakeview location. read more

Finally! Delicious tacos in YL/AH! This taco spot can be found in front of the Lakeview Kaiser building on the sidewalk. Park in the Kaiser lot to order your tacos. The meats are delicious and flavorful. The workers are very kind and accommodating. My husband loves coming here for their Al pastor and quesadillas. The meat portions are very generous and the taco size is not small like a street taco - very filling! The salsas are delicious, I recommend the green one. Load up on your fixings at the register (limes, radishes, pickles jalapeño). They also sell Mexican sodas (Jarritos) and aguas frescas. read more

Best Mexican food I've ever had!!! The pastor is so juicy and flavorful. They load the tacos and burritos with so much meat, they definitely don't skimp out on it. So worth the price. Burritos are huge and filled with so much meat!! I ran into them while trying to look for another taco stand. So glad I found them instead. My go to on the weekends. I was super excited to try this place..Until I simply ask the lady what an item on her menu came with and she was very rude and Answered very forcefully as if it bothered her. not to mention the food was not good. I ordered a torta and quesadilla.. the al pastor on the torta was extremely burnt was not able to enjoy it at all. Also the prices are not valid on there menu the torta states $9 while the quesadilla states $8.when getting up to the cashier I was charged $19 he mention the quesadilla was an extra charge for being in a flour tortilla which doesn't make sense since when do people expect a quesadilla posted for that price in corn smh. Still not sure what was the last extra $1 charge for maybe for their extra rude service..definitely wouldn't recommended this place to any one !!! read more

I had heard about it so we went over only to see a line that was 40 yards deep. No way to make our movie so we put it off. A few months ago I was somewhere that they were going to be only to learn that the truck broke down and the killer was last month when I was in Irvine and saw on Twitter that they were a couple blocks away. I finished my meeting and drove right over only to see the driving away. Aaahhgggg!!!! So today was a few miles away in Long Beach and decided to try the roll. I was shocked to find that there was no line and only a few marines that had just picked up their orders. I was surprised to hear whether I wanted butter or mayo. I thought I all rolls came with mayo but I asked what was more popular. The gal mentioned that the butter was more popular so I had to try that one. I was thinking about adding the extra meat but I am glad I didn't, the roll was perfect although I wish it were a little bigger. The roll here comes on what looks like a giant buttered Texas toast, not the hoagie type roll I was imagining but the toast was really delicious and adds a lot of taste to the roll. My roll had plenty of meat and had a few big chunks that you can really bite into. It had some butter on the lobster but not so much that it was oily. Just perfect. I cant believe how good it was to taste this awesome explosion of deliciousness and I cant wait to get back to try the sandwich with mayo; you know for research. Next time I will also try the lobster bisque soup. The Marine that was eating next to me also had the soup and it really made me crave it but I had a big breakfast this morning and so I will have to chase down this truck again.

The baristas prioritize in-person orders. On multiple occasions, I've ordered 10-15 minutes before arriving and end up getting my drinks after customers who I see ordering in person. Pro tip: if you're in a rush, don't do a mobile order.

The selection changes slightly from week to week and includes regular lemonade, mixed berry lemonade horchata, soursop guanaba, jamaica (that's hibiscus punch), cucumber spinach lemonade, passion mango, and sandia watermelon. The ladies working the booth are always friendly, quick and really know their way around these sausages. They have 10 different hot dog and sausage varieties from back wrapped to hebrew national to my favorite spicy kielbasa or the popular chicken/cilantro/jalapeno sausage (my personal favorite). Once on the grill you will be asked if you want the dog/sausage topped with grilled onions and peppers or plain. Basic condiments such as ketchup can be found on the nearby table but the grilled pepper and onion combination is the way to go with these tasty dogs. The Sausage Masters also have horchata as well as several varieties of freshly squeezed lemonade from traditional to mixed berry among more. A dog and small lemonade will run you about $10 bucks for me its well worth the money for the size and quality they provide. Despite the small booth-like area the quality is top notch and the service is always quick and efficient. They also take credit cards (no Discover) which is good for me as I rarely carry more than a few bucks of cash on me. I thoroughly enjoy the food I have had and will continue to support this business. If you are a fan of the Dog Haus or Linx then this is a vendor you may want to check out as they can definitely compete with the best of them and are truly appreciative of their customers and business.
