We come here often with our toddler. They are always packed out the door. The ice cream is creamy and rich. Some are more sweet than others. I fell in love with their match green tea because it is not overly sweet and I always check before I come in either on the website or by phone. The response I always get we don't have it today we just had it a couple days ago! Holy cow, talk about tiny little scoops! I remember coming to Sweet Cow years ago and getting huge, delicious scoops, so I don't know what happened here. The peanut butter Oreo and the chocolate chip cookie dough were both good, but the size of the scoops at that price point was seriously off putting - I'd rather go elsewhere were I can eat equally good ice cream at much better value for my money. However, Sweet Cow does differentiate itself in that there is a rotating menu of flavors, updated daily online, which is super awesome. It was a bunch of teenagers working, so I get it. Both my boyfriend and I opted to get shakes. He had a big cookie dough shake and I had the not so big earl grey cookie shake. Not we're excellent, especially the ear grey cookie. It was such a unique floral taste, the bergamot really shines through. I wished they sold this flavor inside stores. My go to is the OVO coffee flavor, but I have never gone wrong. Don't worry they have the classics too- vanilla, strawb, and chocolate. The service is quick. Even when the line is out the door there are always enough people working to keep the line moving! Yumm, this was a fantastic addition to Pearl. On a nice summer night, we love burgers at the Park Burger patio and then walking next door for ice cream. We went here today as we were in the neighborhood and were craving some ice cream. I was quite impressed with the arrangements they made to comply with the COVID-19 safety regulations. We ordered 2 double-scoops: Salted-Caramel & Cookies-cream for my wife and Butter-Pecan & Cookie-Dough-Chocolate-Chip for myself. So we got to taste 4 flavors. Salted Caramel: It was delicious. Right amount of salty with nice caramel flavor. Cookies&cream: This was the second best of the 4 flavors and my wife's favorite. Butter-Pecan: This one was the best of the lot. Amazing flavor and was loved by my wife too. Cookie-Dough-Chocolate-Chip: This one was just meh. Eatable but I felt could have been better as I have had better ones at other places. This place is located on a cute street where you must find parking due to no private parking lot. There was a long line outside of the door, so I knew this place had to be good. The regulars were nice and made suggestions to us while waiting in line. Not having to wait in line too long, we were greeted by staff. The assured us we were allowed to try any flavor we wanted which is nice! We sampled the sweet cream, ozo coffee and vanilla. My fave was the ozo coffee flavor!! I got one scoop in a waffle cone and it was amazing!!! It didn't taste like a coffee flavor it tasted like real coffee in ice cream form! It was heavenly. My 5 year old daughter got a scoop of vanilla that I tasted. And it to was like real vanilla ice cream...homemade true vanilla ice cream. Don't let this place slip between your hands! I tried about 4 flavors... it was hard to choose. The girl working suggested the peanut butter chocolate chip and the cookies and creme( she said these are the crowds favs and they dont have them often). She was so right! Omg they were so good! So creme with a perfect amount of sugar for sweetness. The cookies and creme had big cookies in them which is my favorite. Sweet cow is soooooo good and creamy! I've been here twice on my weekend trip to Denver. I wanted to give this place a try because of their consistent flavors in stock and the line is never terribly too long. I enjoyed the mint and coffee flavored ice creams, the cookies n' cream was yummy too! Price is pretty decent, about $5-6 for double scoop. Theme is cute. They have cow plastic figures, their mascot, for sale and other souvenir items. They also serve cookie sandwiches, already packed ice cream and ice cream cakes. Weird thing is that they don't have the tubs out in front like other shops, so I didn't feel like I could ask if I could try flavors. I stumbled upon this cute ice cream store (the disco ball is a nice touch!) in Wash Park after visiting my friend. I simply couldn't resist the sweet smell of the waffle cones in the air so popped in for some refreshing treat before lunch. I've had their ice cream at a farmer's market in the summer so I know they make some delicious flavors. I was in the mood for some sorbet so I sampled the comso, cranberry and apple sorbet. They all tasted so fresh and yummy!! There's pieces of cranberries in the sorbet which was what sold me! But I have to come back to try their ice cream flavors (captain crunchberries, Nutella, honey vanilla, espresso bean) next time...maybe after the Sunday farmers market! Best ice cream in Denver! We frequent the Pearl St location, and some might say i'm obsessed! They are constantly coming up with new and fun flavors. As many times as I've been, there is always something new to try! You can samples before you purchase as well to help make your decision. A few of my favorites - Pina Colada sorbet, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and their go-to Oatmeal Cookie. Thank you Matthew's brother for this amazing suggestion. Decided to get a treat after some amazing Southwestern/Mexican food, and boy am I happy we did. As an ice cream lover, I never not like ice cream but my sugar cone of Honey Mint was an explosion of true, creamy, delicious flavor that is a clear number one on my list of favorite ice creams. It is also a part of a wonderful neighborhood of Denver. Families and friends strolled the street getting brews, food, and treats which already made it seem like a local favorite. Wowza though.... not only did my single scoop look like a double but that creamy mint flavor tasted realer than any other mint ice cream I've had. It also had just enough sweetness to compliment the fresh mint without overpowering it in a sugary overload. Perfection. Then, Matthew got the brownie chocolate which I made him let me try (obvi) and that chocolatey lusciousness also just had a flavor and texture thAt makes me want to curl up with a pint on my bed watching Master Chef. I've eaten ice cream from Sweet Cow a few times, always when I'm in the neighborhood and already visiting Platt Park Brewing. On my last visit, I had the Golden Oreo, which was really good but only seemed to have the Oreo filling mixed in, instead of actual crunchy cookie pieces. Now I'm guessing that since the ice cream tasted EXACTLY like a golden Oreo, the cookie part was probably blended into the milk to make the ice cream base. So overall I liked this ice cream but wished there were more some crunchy bits. They almost always have a cereal flavor on the board - I've seen Golden Grahams and, I believe, Captain Crunch. They also have a good variety of other flavors, but nothing has really stood out. While Sweet Cow is tasty, I generally think of other ice cream places when my sweet tooth kicks in. This one is good for a post-beer fix, though. I will say I love their logo. I have an absolutely adorable hat from them with their logo used in a Colorado flag motif (plus it's got corduroy - I mean come on!) and I get lots of compliments on it! They're peddling their swag like it's a rock concert inside, and the service is excellent (super friendly staff), but the Ice Cream is sub-par at best. Awful experience, went on 12/3/20 was greeted by a young lady and had a gift card that was brand new for $10. Apparently it only had $1.35 on it. So I tried paying the remainder with cash. I understand some places aren't taking cash. But I was just left awkwardly standing there bc they aren't capable of finding a solution for a customer trying to buy $7 worth of ice cream. Just poor customer service. I'm sure the ice cream is good, but in situations like these it's good to have some one who is able to come up with a solution other than "sorry". U give the customer a free ice cream and let them know they aren't taking cash. If it was $20 or a huge order I could understand. But I have been to places that "don't take cash" all I had was cash and they took it.....given the circumstances of what's going on currently, this was an awful experience read more
