Sweet Cups is the froyo portion of the store, and it was deeeee-licious. It's the kind you self-serve out of a machine and pay by the ounce, so you definitely get more than you thought you were filling. The salted caramel and mint cookie were both really good. They also have a topping station that's also self-serve (they're so sneaky), with whole pieces of candy for some of them! They also have healthier toppings like fruit. We went with 4 kids and they were excited to get ice cream, homemade at that, only to be disappointed in the service and ice cream selection. We walked in and were not greeted at all nor were the employees friendly, more annoyed to serve. The kids ordered ice cream and as expected, sprinkles only to have one of the employees bring out the sprinkles and pour them on the ice cream over the ice cream bins getting about 5 sprinkles on the cone. A basic shop with cupcakes, homemade ice cream and a yogurt/soft serve bar with toppings you can add t personalize it. Is large and cool inside with several tables as well as outdoor seating on the deck. The young gal working inside was very pleasant and friendly and offered my mom samples of their homemade ice cream. It's served like gelato by the size of little gelato cups and she got a chocolate peanut butter flavor that she absolutely loved. Raves about it. We looked in a few of the other ice cream shops in the center but this one had the best flavors and fresh handmade ice cream. The cupcakes were large and looked delicious with about 7 flavors. We didn't purchase any of the cupcakes though. I recommend on a hot day. read more

The frozen yogurt from Sweet Cups was just okay. Definitely not worth the amount of money you will spend for the yogurt and toppings. Most of their flavors were out of service leaving chocolate and vanilla and a few other random flavors. Their ice cream looked a little better than the frozen yogurt, but still expensive. Sweet Cups and Corolla Cup Cakes are together in the same building. You can get ice cream, frozen yogurt, or cupcakes. There are 8 different flavors of frozen yogurt, approx 12 different flavors of ice cream, and cupcake choices. Prices are on the high end but to be expected considering location. My biggest complaint was customer service! The two ladies working behind the counter were not inviting or helpful. If you ask for sample cup to try frozen yogurt they almost seem put out. We did not dare to ask for any ice cream samples. Upon the kids choosing their ice cream, we stood waiting for 5 minutes. I had to ask did you scoop the ice cream yet. Guess it was sitting behind the counter. I had to ask can I pay? Upon trying to paying the two ladies were talking to each other, seemed as if they were taking about us because we asked for our ice cream. I was never offered or given a receipt. Aside from customer service store front and interior is very clean. Seating is available inside and out. Trash can are located inside- no trash cans outside on the patio. read more

So, we went to this place because everywhere around closed at 9pm and Sweet cups website says they close at 9:30. We rushed our family dinner to get our family ice cream and got there at 9:15. The sign also says that they closed at 9:30. The doors were locked but there were two workers in there so we thought we'd go up to the door at least thinking they were just getting ready to shut down but when we knocked on the door the workers just stared at us nastily and started laughing amongst themselves. Look I work in the food industry, I understand wanting to go home, but it's not like we got there two minutes before close, and they could have at least opened the door and told us they were closing early. Horrible all around. Went there 9/9/12, was, according to the owner "Heather" the second customer of the day, this being the off season and all. First 2 yogurts were all liquid, so we stupidly dumped them and moved on; we should have taken it as a sign to leave. My wife, son, and I then made up our sundaes, each using their Vanilla, paid, went outside, and took a bite: spoiled. At this point, I was getting pissed after paying more than $18 for spoiled yogurt. Went in and told Heather we're getting new ones using some of the remaining 5 flavors. "Thin mint" was so spoiled my wife nearly vomited. We demanded our money back, and this "Heather" (looked far to young to really be the owner, but whatever) said WE were being rude, and refused to return our money. We have tons of these weight-your-frozen-yogurt joints near us. All they have to do is: clean the machinery, supply fresh milk, and add in a powder mix. How hard is this? Luckily we used a credit card and were able to deny the charges. Even if the yogurt isn't spoiled during the summers, I hope this customer service story alone is enough to steer you away. read more

Thought maybe this would be like Sweet Frog but was disappointed with the type of frozen yogurt being used. The taste of the yogurt was so-so and the consistency showed it was poor quality froyo with lots of air. A previous business at the same location really researched their frozen yogurt and had something much more tasty. We stopped in here after a bike ride with the kids and wanted to try out the froyo. I believe this is the only one in the Corolla area, but we were staying right around the corner from this shopping area so I wanted to check it out anyways. They had a good selection of frozen yogurts to choose from as well as the toppings. Everyone loved the frozen yogurt. The prices are also very reasonable. Awesome shop! So clean and fresh. My family loves it here. We even had it for dinner one night. There are so many great yogurt flavors. Different ones too. Not the same old ho-hum ones you find in other shops. Love that you can mix them and make your own. Tons of toppings to choose from. Super friendly service.
