Been coming here for years. Love it! Sometimes the chocolate has an odd after taste. Not bad lately.

It's gonna be a popular place for the summer. The flavors are creamy and cold - like brain freeze cold. I questioned my judgment because a very small portion came out to about eight dollars with no toppings except a dash of peanut butter sauce. for the money, I'm heading to Baskin-Robbins or Stewart's for a full pint at half the price. I do see the appeal for people who like frozen yogurt. But don't fool yourself - it's high in calories. When I purchased it again? Possibly but I won't go out of my way. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the flavors and the restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly, but the price is out of line. read more

I have been taking my granddaughter here for years - since they opened, so when she requested sweet frog yesterday afternoon-I was all in! We both got our usual (her, cotton candy, and original tart for me). We then headed to her fourth grade open house two hours later and I had food poisoning!!! It was Gastro-I was sick from 7:30 pm until 4:30 am this morning and had to sleep on the bathroom floor, after I dehydrated and fainted - with constant throwing up and continually sitting on the toilet for over 9 hours!!!! The stomach cramps were out of this world... It was the worst night of my life and will not be going back ever! (And also calling the health department today to file a complaint). I should've known better when the yogurt was so runny and the very nice employee with the long, dark brown hair told me she had to "reset the machine and I had to wait 5 minutes, and they have been having issues with that machine.) It was dirty with watery yogurt sitting in the grill underneath and not cleaned up, but I assumed someone tried to serve themselves and made a mess.... I won't be back and am very disappointed that I will be spending the day in bed today, this weak! This experience was horrendous! read more

Nice to see a froyo place in the Hudson Valley. I wish there were more fruit toppings- there were a ton of candy and boba toppings. I've never seen dole whip at a froyo place before, so I wanted to give it a try, in addition to my usual tart yogurt order. Had the pineapple and I believe the peach. Did my standard fruit toppings and little mochis. I also thought it was kind of different to see whipped cream as an option too- I don't remember seeing that at other froyo places. I feel like this is a froyo place with some ice cream place features. My boyfriend had all his and said he really enjoyed it, and I had all my toppings, the tart yogurt, and some of the dole whip flavors, but not a lot- they were too sweet for me. read more

The yogurt flavors were varied and the product was smooth/creamy. Full disclosure-I had visited another sweet frog years ago and didn't think it was good at all. This spot has changed my mind. Beyond Overpriced and need more flavor options and rotation. I'll give the young girl with short dark hair and glasses usually wearing athletic pants who seems to work evenings there her kudos and a shoutout though because she works hard to keep the counter area clean and organized when people dump toppings all over. She's a very diligent worker, not twirling her thumbs or fooling around like I've seen other workers on different shifts so (and they have things to do bc on their shifts the place is usually messy and dirty tables). The girl I am talking about deserves a raise or award or something bc she has great customer service and cares to keep the place as clean as she can and I never see anyone else working with her. 4 stars simply for her working there. Consistently changing flavors, keeping the toppings full, always having paper goods stocked - these are the little things that I notice when my family demands we go get fro-yo. Besides customer service - which has always been friendly and quick and this location - the facility is clean, inside and out. I only give it a one star because the workers are very rude and snotty to me a bit racist it's not a good vibe in here but is extremely clean I asked the worker to please wipe down my table and she had an attitude and told me she just literally left from over at that area cleaning tables mind u the tables had yogurt stains I didn't reply back one I was with my kids and things could have got ugly the yogurt is great tons of toppings to choose from u can even have a sample but the vibes in heRe is totally off black people are not welcomed in this establishment I really felt outta place here but my kids where happy and there young they can't feel those horrible vibes I felt very disappointed with customer service and the snotty ppl that come in here if ur black don't waste ur time coming here read more

Plentiful flavors. Good toppings and easy to sample what you want. The idea of "bottoms"to put first in your cup before froyo is smart! For example I put a brownie in the cup before I poured all my good cookies and cream froyo on top :) read more

I was really excited to find out that SweetFrog in Poughkeepsie has Dole products! Yesterday I tried pineapple and strawberry. They were both amazing! Went today with my granddaughter, the store was freezing, as cold as outside,in the 30°. The one girl working was always in the back. Tried to get her attention but wasn't working. We got so cold we both were shaking really bad. Another grandmother was there with her 2 grandchildren and she also commented about how cold it was. They have a great variety of frozen yogurt flavors, and all kinds of fruit and cookie-type toppings. The one thing I find annoying is that they hide the wet walnuts behind the sauce pumps. If you don't think to ask for it, you'll miss out on walnuts. read more

I have never seen such an amazing selection of toppings at a froyo place before - this joint is the real deal!!! I eat froyo on a regular basis at spots around NYC, so I consider myself somewhat of a DIY froyo connoisseur. I wish this place was closer to where I live! (Though perhaps I'd gain 20 pounds if it was.) The flavor selections are plentiful and have a good variation of sweet and tart. The toppings just never seemed to end! They had such a great selection. From fresh fruit to chocolatey candy bar goodness to tapioca ball boba to a wall of cereal and sprinkles and beyond. Top it off with fresh whipped cream and fudges galore. It was definitely above and beyond the topping selection of your average froyo place. Everything was delicious! I went with a strawberry and cheesecake combo, brownie bits, chocolate chips, Oreo, and a bunch of other goodies.... They had some great flavors, salted Carmel pretzel, Nutella, banana just to name a few... My wife and I both got reasonably sized portions, not the mega buckets, and it's was about $7 total.... Who can say no to froyo? Hoopla is great because it has at least a dozen different flavors of froyo. It also has dozens of different toppings. The variety is great, since some other froyo places have a limited selection. My fave thing is that they have a sale every Monday which is a great value. I am a huge fan of this froyo place - in my opinion, it is the best one in the area. Firstly, it is very clean, which is a huge plus. Secondly, they have countless varied options for not only toppings, but also cones and waffle bowls that they make there. They also have free sprinkles with the colors of local schools and have a lot of comfy seating. Hoopla is great on Mondays! Why Mondays you ask? Hoopla has a Monday Special deal. I believe its $3.50 for all you can fit in one cup! You can't beat that. They have the best selection on toppings. Recently the shop has not been able to accept credit or debit cards, neither can they give you a receipt. The customer loyalty system isn't working either. I'm a frequent visitor, so this means I'm missing out on several counts toward my next reward. There is no indication as to what the problem is or when the problem will be resolved. It's hard to believe that it takes more than a few hours to get such a problem corrected but so far this problem has persisted for several days with no indication as to when it will be resolved. I will discontinue my visits until things are working properly again. read more
