Cute little pie shop in the heart of Eastdale Poughkeepsie near the Premier medical group and Rossi deli. Service by the owner is friendly and hospitable. The idea of creating one Sohn pie and sitting down to have it warm out of the oven in just a few minutes is very appealing, particularly during this cold weather spell. The owner also has another business across the street called macaron. She is a CULINARY INSTITUTE of AMERICA graduate and uses safe, serve practices. Shop is clean, bright, and welcoming. I recommend you order your custom pie then take a quick trip to the Eastdale bagel shop to pick up some bagels for the family. By the time you get back your pie will be ready to eat. Sit down and enjoy it

Obsessed with this concept because well I LOVE PIE! With both sweet and savory options and a made to order pie bar, I love the idea. On a hot summer day we tried the key lime pie slice dipped in white chocolate. It was perfectly tart cold and delicious but the white chocolate added nothin besides a whole lotta extra calories however I would absolutely order again. We took an apple pie to go which was just ok, the apple filling was minimal and the price quite high considering. The inside was cute and staff was very friendly.

Adorable pie shop in Eastdale Village. Selection looks great it was hard to choose! Nice & helpful staff. Settled on the Key Lime Pie and wow! AMAZING! Perfect Graham cracker crust, creamy citrus sharp custard w whipped cream. Visible lime zest thru out the custard. Legit prob best key lime pie I've tasted! Big shout out for the packaging too bc it would make such a perfect gift!! Cannot wait to go back!

Food was delicious! And the service was fast and joyful. I love the key lime pie, just the right balance of tangy and sweet.

Very disappointed. Not chunks of meat but shredded mush. Crust is also mushy, not flaky. Savory pies barely edible

There was also this raspberry bar that I forgot the name of but it was crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside, that one was definitely our favorite. Also it's so cute inside! All pink with what seemed like a hand-built cabana decoration around the register. Everyone was super friendly, and I'll definitely be back to share these amazing desserts with some friends and family. Sorry all the desserts pictured already have bites taken out! Couldn't resist!

When we reached I asked them if they had anything left since the display looked empty. We bought one yuzu tart and one coffee/chocolate based tart. For the first time in my life non chocolate flavor was my first choice. It was soo delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and would surely go to try on the remaining desserts. People who worked there were nice too plus ambiance is very cute! Went there again the second time and trust me their desserts are exceptional. Great flavor, amazing desserts.

Head Chef and Owner, Brandon Walker, ( a former Student at the CIA---has put together a menu that will blow your mind. From the cornbread to the grits--etc. Awesome! 5 easy stars!

I was craving ribs, and…read morewhen I saw this place not only had them but also served hibiscus lemonade, I made the executive decision to have my family drive to Poughkeepsie from our bed & breakfast just to check it out. Worth it? Mostly, yes! Food: 4/5 We tried a little bit of everything, the Seared chicken breast - Hands down my favorite dish of the night. Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and flavorful. Followed by the Bacon, egg, and homemade biscuit - A close second! The biscuit was dense and satisfying, and it had a really unique pesto-like sauce on top that made it memorable. Some other shout outs: 1) Orecchiette veggie pasta - Orecchiette is hard to find on menus, so I was delighted to see it here. It was a nice light option among our heavier dishes. 2) Jerk ribs - OK, so this is where my expectations and reality didn't fully align. They were well-cooked, but I'm a saucy girl, and these weren't as slathered or juicy as I'd hoped. That said, the rest of my table really enjoyed them. Also, that hibiscus lemonade? Chef's kiss. Refreshing and flavorful, and exactly the kind of detail that makes a place stand out to me. Service: 4/5 Now, here's where I was really surprised: one person was running the whole show. The head chef was managing the kitchen and the front of house--no servers, no extra help. Just him. For the amount of work that entails, he crushed it. Was it a bit slower than a staffed restaurant? Of course. But honestly, it gave the whole experience a humble, homegrown vibe that I appreciated. Also, it meant a lot to support a Black-owned restaurant and actually connect with the person behind the food. Final Thoughts: While we came for dinner, I could tell from the menu (and the vibe) that this place is really known for brunch. I'm genuinely curious to come back during brunch hours to see how the energy--and menu--might shift. Either way, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a spot with heart, flavor, and soul.
