Love Momma Millie's!!…read more A couple things you should know beforehand: There is street parking only. 25 cents per 15 minute parking. They are closed on Sunday. Almost everything is sold out by Saturday. You can call ahead to place an order or even ask her to set aside something. You cannot sit down and eat (small bakery.) There is not an online website, but they are on FB! Okay now on to the good part- the baked goods! I have been in here three times. The first time was for a french macaron that I happened to notice when I walked in and figured I'd try it. It was mango. The only flavor left, but it was delicious. Second time I came back for the macarons which were all gone. I decided to go with some vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. I don't like frosting because it's either too sweet or tastes way too fake, but this frosting was amazing! Melts in your mouth and just has this wonderful flavor. The cupcake itself was moist and flavorful. I also got some oatmeal cookies, which my fiancé scarfed down and said they were the best he ever had. Third time I came back and she had the macarons this time. I got pistachio, mango, strawberry and a couple more that I couldn't quite figure out the flavor. Maybe fruity pebbles or passion fruit? Not sure. Some of the macarons had a nice crunch and was fluffy on the inside, while the other flavors were a little chewy. Either way hey they tasted great. I also got an assortment of cookies and more cupcakes! They sell many goodies from cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cannolis, whoopie pies, cheesecakes, eclairs, french macarons, cream puffs, brownies, etc. Since they are a local shop it's best to call ahead and see what's available but this is a nice, small local business with a wonderful woman behind the counter that you can tell bakes with love and passion. I will be a loyal customer along with many others to Momma M

This charming little French bakery is just off Market St on E High Street. We could only find…read moremetered parking on the street. Even the parking lot behind the building had meters. So that's a bit inconvenient; however, for quick pick up I suppose most could make a quick stop and run to the bakery and hurry back for the pickup. There are fresh pastries on the wheeled racks as well as chilled ones behind the glass display. We had some Cream Cheese Turnovers and we loved it. It's not too sweet and the flaky pastry and the creamy cheese really go together nicely. We also had the Caribbean Cake and Lemon Lavender Cake from the chilled selections. The flavor of the Caribbean Cake was too dominated by the cream of coconut (with shavings), overwhelming the mango passion compote, but was still very nice both in terms of texture and taste. The Lemon Lavender Cake, on the other hand, was just meh for us. The only thing we liked about it was the tanginess. Texture-wise it was neither fluffy (bottom layer portion being the cake layer) nor creamy (upper few layers), just curd overall. And we had to spit out the slice of lemon used as garnish. The Rhubarb Tart (w/ strawberry compote, almond cream, and mascarpone cream) was sold out on our visit, making us very curious. Hopefully we get to try that next time we're in town.

Amazing croissants, macarons, bread, cake, etc! Everything was absolutely delicious and we are so…read moreglad to have tried this place, thanks to a Yelp! event. I love their supply of candy making supplies and their homemade candy is delicious. Being back in the area again, I've been going in about once a week. Yesterday, after the order went in effect for masks to be worn in all establishments, I saw two people patronizing the store without masks. The cashier rang them up without a mention of them not having a mask on. She could have at least advised them that they needed to have a mask on the next time they visit. I then questioned her and she rolled her eyes at me. I quietly asked for the manager and walked over to a corner to wait. The manager finally came over and raised her voice quite rudely. I was trying not to cause a scene in front of the other customers, but apparently she didn't consider that. First she told me they didn't see the unmasked people. Which was untrue as the cashier looked right at them when ringing them up. She then yelled at me stating that even though it's posted on the door and is a requirement she will not be asking anyone without a mask to put one on. "I don't want to lose business". Lose business? She is putting all her employees at risk and every customer who walks in. Her rudeness was quite unbecoming and unprofessional. If your health, the health of your family, and being a compassionate, responsible member of the community is important to you...This shop is one you will want to stay away from.
