This is my first time trying Sweet Jesus. It was actually on our way while walking in Niagara so we decided to stop and give it a try. I waited in line for about 5-10 mins and when asked "what size would you like" I said regular thinking it was not that big. I was totally wrong! Wow, Sweet Jesus has some awesome vegan softserve ice cream. After you cross the border and walk into Canada, Sweet Jesus is just a block away. What a nice introduction to the country. We got the Bounty Killah vegan option (C$9.50) which is expensive but oh-so delicious. The ice cream has the taste and texture of firmed-up whipped cream and I loved the toasted coconut and dark chocolate toppings. My only gripe is that the ice cream comes piled in a gigantic mound and is hard to eat before it starts melting. They also have vegan coconut and strawberry flavors for softserve. These taste great, too and are significantly cheaper at C$6. You can't get better vegan ice cream in the Niagara Falls area. read more

Neat concept. Soft serve and then sundae toppings mashed in......or unique toppings. ( cotton candy ) We visited the Niagara location and you can expect a line in the tourist area. Good serving size. I had the Krusty the Cone and my wife had plain coconut. She said hers was lacking flavor. Mine was awesome and i wanted more actual cotton candy!!! Pricey - this is why it's a 4 star. I had heard all about the hype coming from the Toronto based chain, including the incredible flavors and long lines haha, so I had to try it during my visit to Niagara Falls. I ordered the Bounty Killah flavor and it did not disappoint. It's coconut ice cream mixed with toasted coconut pieces and dark chocolate sauce. It is simply amazing. The combination of flavors melts in your mouth with each spoonful and you'll be wanting seconds (or thirds lol). Soooo great! Sweet Jesus offers a Vegan option of soft serve that you can use on the various cones, with chocolate sauce etc all dairy free and vegan friendly! Very happy surprise for us as we have found Vegan options to be very limited in the Niagara area so a dessert was a wonderful surprise. This little gem is nestled inside a Canadian souvenir store and also attached to a Starbucks. They offer some unusual looking cones with unusual toppings. I liked that the sugar cone ice cream had a plastic cover with a little catch rim so that the toppings wouldn't fall on the floor. They didn't have the same rim for waffle cones. I took my first ever trip to the Niagara Falls Sweet Jesus over the weekend because my body was desperately in need of a fix (doctors orders). This location is located right in the middle of the famous Clifton Park Tourist Area, which actually makes it a nightmare since I try to avoid the area generally. Either way, this is definitely the perfect location for an ice cream place like this because you can get some right before you make that final walk to the actual falls. I ended up getting the birthday cake ice cream which is basically a soft serve cone (birthday cake flavour obviously) and it's covered in cake bits an even has a birthday candle on the top of it! Obviously, this was absolutely delicious and left me craving every other flavour of ice cream this location has to offer.
