Meredith herself touchlessly took my temperature to ensure I had no fever and asked me about signs of Covid-19 (none). I had my appointment with PA-C Gloria Barnett today. From a car accident back in the late 1990's, the skin under my right eye is stretched out (had swelled shut due to trauma back then), so I always have this shadow under my eye that makes me look tired. I had a consult with Gloria and we decided to do a correction that was within my budget and would definitely make that bag/sag/shadow go away, and keep my face's symmetry. With 1 syringe of Voluma she added a little sculpting to the the top of each cheekbone to give me a natural-looking and long-lasting lift. With Juvederm XC she filled in that low spot under my right eye and ensured the fill was matched under my non-droopy left eye. Despite being a non-smoker since the late 1990's (and then it was only a pack a week, on and off, for a few years), I have noticed little vertical lines over my upper lip appearing. I suppose it is to be expected when you hit your 50's!. With a subtle and beautiful application of Volbella, Gloria erased the lines that I was self-conscious about, and ensured I had perfect symmetry and just a touch of softness on my upper lip without looking artificial or unnatural. That's why it's so upsetting that, with the recent change in front desk staff and how policies are handled, we've decided we won't be returning. Most of the difficulty has been with the receptionist, Pamela. Whether on the phone or at checkout, she has come across as impatient, dismissive, and clearly bothered by basic questions. I've been met with sighs and an attitude that made me feel like helping a client was an inconvenience. Instead of leaving relaxed and appreciated, I left feeling unwelcome. I was also told my gift certificate had expired, despite never being informed of an expiration date or receiving any reminder. And while clients are charged for canceling within 24 hours, the spa has canceled within that same window themselves. The inconsistency feels unfair. I wanted to continue supporting this business, but the customer service experience made it clear our loyalty didn't matter.
