We visited Sweet Mango Restaurant yesterday during lunchtime, and it was such a great experience. We've also been to their Strongsville location before, so we already knew we were in for delicious food. Lunch is a perfect time to go if you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, since you still get a full, satisfying meal at a great value. We were warmly greeted as soon as we arrived and offered beverages right away. We chose water, jasmine tea, and green tea, all of which were served promptly. I asked about the summer rolls, and within just a few minutes they were on the table--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. When we placed our orders, every dish came out delicious and well-presented. It was so good that all three of us even ordered soup to take home for later. The service throughout our visit was excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed. There was even a group of senior women playing cards on the other side of the restaurant, which added to the warm, welcoming feel of the space. Later that day, I enjoyed the seafood coconut soup I brought home, and it was still perfectly warm thanks to how carefully it was packaged. I had dinner here tonight with my boyfriend and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the pad Thai and vegetable fried rice, both of which I was able to easily modify to be vegan. He had a yellow curry that he said was really good. We had plenty for leftovers. We were the only table in there for a while, they have a booming take out business. This is my first visit to Sweet Mango. I ordered on line for a pick up order with a specified time. The process was easy and food was ready at the specified time, fresh and hot. I ordered the chicken pad thai and it was delicious! Enough food to feed me for two meals! I didn't eat in house but it looked very clean and those who helped me were very gracious especially the young lady who first greeted me. Gotta admit this place kinda blew me away. I typically don't stay in Medina when I'm in Ohio. Downtown Cleveland is normally where we go. Didn't know much about Medina. I just googled Thai food and this is where it directed me. We ordered the Crazy Noodles and the Lemongrass Chicken. Shockingly good. We are originally from Southern California but currently living in the Chicago area. We've tried a lot of Thai places. A LOT. The service here was very good although they seem to be short staffed like a lot of places. They seem to do a lot of take out. Next time I will try their mango sticky rice and their shrimp lemon grass soup. I am a little surprised they didn't serve pad see ew which is a great alternative to pad Thai. Their crazy noodles were kinda like pad see ew but much sweeter and without the egg. Anyway, we are definitely returning if we are back in the area. read more

We've been dining at Sweet Mango for years. When I first began dining here, I noticed a shortage of food photos on Yelp. So I vowed to change that for the better. Every visit has been excellent. I've dined in and taken food to go. One of my favorite things about the food is that it's not salty. Some Chinese restaurants put too much salt in their food. I realize this isn't Chinese food, but I still wanted to point that out. I'm a sodium conscious person. Recently, we dined in and ordered some new items to try. I also was supporting my goal of adding more food photos. Their menu doesn't have a lot of pictures either. I requested mango paradise and my son requested sweet and sour chicken. Our meals were excellent once again. So far, my favorite dishes are summer rolls, avocado curry with chicken, veggies, and rice, and crazy noodles. I can't wait to try more menu items. Had lunch here at the Sweet Mango Thai Restaurant. We ordered Mango Wings, Siam Rolls, Summer Rolls and Seafood Madness w/ a side of duck. Everything was wonderful. The sauces that come with the rolls were also very good. Mango wings were nice and crunchy and had lots of flavor. The seafood madness lunch was very fresh and tasty. So happy that Medina now has a Thai restaurant. We were in town for close to 3 weeks, and ate here 3 times. At different times we tried the Duck Noodle Soup, the Tamarind Mango Duck and one of the seafood dishes (Siam Seafood), along with Papaya Salad and the Tom Khar Gai (chicken coconut soup). Everything was flavorful, freshly prepared and delicious. They also have a wide vegetarian selection. The only thing I'll say is that portion size varied on different days. We got the noodle soup 2 days in a row, once at dinner and then the next day at lunch, and it was not the same (though the price was). Note to the restaurant, consistency matters. If you serve a lunch portion, charge for a lunch portion. But the menu was the same as the night before, and we did not appreciate that. But still, this was definitely one of our favorite places in Medina. Portion sizes are not huge, so you won't be taking home leftovers, but prices are very reasonable. read more

My daughter order Siam Fried Rice & I their Pad Thai. Both entrees came out hot. I prefer more spice than they used, but the flavors on both dishes were very good. Between the tasteless rice noodle soup and the cold (!!) red curry with white rice when I ordered the massaman curry with brown rice, I don't think we'll be back. I think they actually microwaved it. But not enough. Also it tasted just like the instant red curry paste you can buy in a jar at the store. Really sad. Also there's a LOT of crap in the water, and it's not lemon. I ordered the pad thai, which came served with chicken and shrimp. It was a very generous lunch portion and an even better price! The pad thai was slightly sweet but not overpowering, which can happen sometimes with pad thai. We placed our order on the Yelp app and our takeout was ready seamlessly. We have ordered takeout from Sweet Mango. Probably about five times. It's a easy process to place an order online, in a friendly environment to pick up the food in. The food has always been fresh and really good! The prices are pretty much average two other similar places around. We especially love the sweet-and-sour chicken. It's so crispy and comes with warm sweet-and-sour sauce for dipping. They give you large portions, which end up being enough for myself and two young kids to share as our dinner.
