It's a shame I have to write this review to warn other customers. I've been coming to this place on and off since 2016. I got the herbal botanical pedicure (peppermint) for $57. At any salon, you would expect to pay $1 per minute for the pedi, so my pedi should have been a minimum 52-minute session, since I don't use any polish. Instead, my session lasted 34 minutes from the time the tech sat down to the time she was done. The cuticles were not correctly trimmed, nor were the nails properly filed. As you can see in the pic, the nails are all different lengths. She didn't even wipe the residual water/lotion from in-between my toes because she was in such a rush - I had to do it myself. I told the lady manager at the front to review their cameras if she doubted the veracity of my complaint. If I wanted a 34-minute pedi, then i would have gotten their basic pedi for $35, and not wasted $57. Ripping off your customer is not the proper way to conduct business. My tech was named Hana, so request someone else if after reading this, you still have the urge to come here. read more

Thennnn this lady comes in with 4 other girls, and they move me again to another chair. A little irritating, but I move anyways. Fast forward to Lisa almost finishing my manicure, and while she does great shaping and cleaning my nails, I notice the color I had chosen wasn't quite what I had chosen. It was definitely pinkier than what I was hoping for. I was looking for a creamy white with subtle glitter (color 199), and idk y'all this photo I'm posting doesn't look like what I'm looking for. She then begins on my feet, but I notice that she hasn't even soaked them or anything and I think at that point, the salon was just in a hurry to close. If I would've known that, I would've told her to not even do my feet since I can literally paint them myself. I'd like to also point out that I never received that neck warmer that the other customers had received, and omg don't even get me started when I got that complimentary neck massage. I went to get my nails done here about a month ago and they hurt my nails and didn't give me what I wanted at all. My nails were bleeding and buffed down so thin. I came here last weekend to get a pedicure with some friends. I did feel a few twinges of pain while I was getting pampered and thought I might have been nicked by my technician. However, she didn't say anything and just kept going. I think she used some type of liquid potion to stop the slight bleeding. Once I got home I saw I had 4 spots where she had cut me around my toes. Going to nail salons is a hit or miss, depending on where you go and who works on your nails. I went with my sister-in-law for my birthday a few weeks ago and had a good experience (overall) when we came. Pros: -Plenty of chairs/ladies to work on your nails -Priced reasonably -You get your money's worth for the basic manicure which I really liked -Good ambiance -Great use of decor/colors inside the place Con: -Depending on who does your mani/pedi, it's a hit or miss. My sister-in-law had Lily who did her manicure and she wasn't too fond of her. There were parts of her nail that wasn't completely covered by the nail polish and Lily didn't do a good job covering up the missing spots. We both did the basic manicure and there is quite a bit that comes with it which I was very impressed with. You get a warm neck pillow and a massage for your hands which was very nice. Helen did my manicure and she was excellent! She listened to my concerns and was very careful and gentle with me. Dawn did my pedicure and she was okay- I think she was new but she did a good job putting on nail polish. If you're in the area, then try to come before 2pm so you can get $5 off any pedicure. I've visited this salon twice now. I have been trying different places as I am new to this area. It is really nice and modern with a purple theme. You are greeted as soon as you walk in. There are plenty of spa chairs for pedicures and about 5 or so nail stations. The ladies I've interacted with are all very nice and helpful. I've come in for both a manicure and pedicure and have had great service both times. I feel prices are good for the location. I will be back again. You can schedule an appointment for services and if you have a group/party coming. It gets pretty busy on the weekends but I came in as a walk in on a Saturday afternoon and maybe waited about 10 minutes for a shellac manicure. Sadly, this will be my last visit. I don't respect a business that doesn't wish to prepare and inform their clients, new or repeat ones. This place is a gem. Very clean, nicely decorated, and the staff is some of the best I've encountered in the city. The young lady who greets you each time treats you as though she's the owner - meaning she respects the customers as though this was her business and makes it a point to remember your name or the littlest thing that's important to you. If I could, I would write two reviews - a 5 star and a 2/3 star. Because of the combination of experience, I decided on a 4 star review. Let's get the not so great out of the way first. The manicure. I was not a fan of this manicure AT ALL. I got a gel mani. They did the manicure while I was getting my pedicure done, which I don't like too much because for me it takes away from the relaxation of the pedicure. It also feels rushed that way. The manicurist wasn't rude or anything, but just not as kind and friendly as the lady during my pedicure. Since they did the mani while I was sitting in the massage chair, it was hard to tell the quality. When I got home, I noticed a few spots I had to touch up. Also, the gel was really think and peeled off within a week. That was disappointing, as the only reason I get gel manicures is for them to last a long time. Noooow, let's talk about the good stuff. From the start, the overall service was amazing. I walked in on a weekend afternoon without an appointment and was fully expecting to be turned away. Instead, I was told I could be seen for both a mani and pedi in 30 minutes. That alone impressed me because they were BUSY. I left, got a coffee, came back, chose colors and was placed in a chair right away. The water was plenty warm, which is great because it drives me nuts when water is lukewarm. I chose the detox pedicure and it smelled good, felt good, and was very relaxing. The pedicurist was thorough, did a great job, and took her time, something that is very important to me. The quality of the paint job was great and the polish lasted weeks and it was not gel. I will be back for a pedicure, but not for a manicure. read more

I was quoted a 20 minute wait and wasn't serviced for almost an hour. My nails were started on first, and once that service was completed, then my pedicure began. And it was only after people who had arrived after me had their pedicures started BEFORE me. I was not offered any beverage but other patrons were. The technician doing my pedicure was VERY SLOW. She cut me and my French tip was crooked. I tried to have her fix it and ended up being more cooked. She took FOREVER on just one foot, I needed up changing what I wanted so she could hurry and be done. There must be new management because I have NEVER had this terrible of service at this location. I felt a burning sensation from the harsh filing on my acrylics at least three times throughout the session. I came in as a walk-in with a friend for a dip manicure ($40). KEVIN pointed me towards the dip colors and directed me to the pair of pedicure chairs reserved for my friend and me so we could sit together. LISA was my manicurist and did an amazing job! I arrived a little earlier than my friend and asked her if she could wait to start, which she kindly accommodated. She asked after every step if I was happy with whatever she did. I must've asked her to re-file some nails a million times - I felt so bad!! But she never gave me an attitude. She also gives a bomb neck/shoulder massage! I almost fell asleep.
