He told me the delivery driver had already left, but he went above and beyond and personally delivered the flowers himself. I've ordered flowers for family and friends throughout California, and typically, the arrangements don't always look as good as the pictures online. We first asked her if they have any seafood choices, to which she said "no". Then we asked for a menu, and literally the first thing on the menu was a Salmon salad. We ordered that and a few more dishes and a hot tea. She rolled her eyes at us every time we asked about the dressing on the side or a substitute for a side. And then we asked for a cup of hot tea, and she hands us a clear plastic cup. I told her it would melt and she looked at me with such attitude, as if I said something offensive or inappropriate. She kept huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes. We ended up canceling the whole order and leaving. I don't know if she was just having a bad day or if there's lack of training, but it was very disappointing.

The flowers were extremely fresh compared to the other floral arrangements my sister got for this event, I think they will last a long time. I asked for a picture from the store and they didn't disappoint. The price is a little expensive for the amount of flowers compared to other places but the quality of the flowers made up for that. The order was delivered to her work and I was hoping for an impressive presentation. Unfortunately, it did not meet my high expectations for what I paid for ($100). On a positive note, I was relieved the order was delivered by 2 pm since her shift ends at 3 pm. However, I was not thrilled with the pics my niece texted me of the arrangement that was delivered to her. When selecting an arrangement on the FTD web site, the first thing that caught my attention about this specific arrangement (Star of the Day Floral Cake) was the adorable "Happy Birthday" star topper. This topper was missing. Surprised the florist failed to substitute a floral pick, or something comparable at least. Also, this arrangement was supposed to have 4 straight white candles. It only came with 2, and they were colored and wavy, which made it nearly impossible to see against the colored floral background. Finally, I paid extra for a mylar balloon. The arrangement was delivered with a balloon that I personally feel did not compliment the colors of the flowers, and was not fully inflated. When my niece brought the flowers home that afternoon, the balloon was already half deflated! I'm sure it will be completely deflated and on the floor by the end of the day :(

We wanted to do a Steve Martin themed party, and they managed to make it witty, absurd yet CLASSY, fun, yummy and personalized in every way. Impossibly, my dad was truly surprised! And he felt really loved because his favorite stuff was all in one place just for him! Steve Martin, great 70s music provided by a live band, his people, amazing food, a cigar lounge, photobooth with props to capture absurd moments, etc. They manage to KNOW their clients and work closely with them; always gracious and attentive.
