This is an awesome spot! Candy/ice cream store on steroids! As the name says they have all things sweets. Candy, cakes, ice cream, floats and more. Toppings and different cones etc. There's candy options are in the back of the store. There's seating inside and outside as well. There's not dedicated lot but street parking was available when I was here. The gentleman working the counter that day was super nice and patient with questions and our group taking our time to decide as there's alot to chose from! Awesome vibe here. This place is a hidden gem and features some of the best ice cream/ gelato I've ever had on Long Island. I got the campfire crunch swirly, and it was delicious. Ice cream was super cremy and fresh, and they put the perfect amount of blended toppings in the swirly. The shop featured about 20 gelato flavors to choose from and also had a nice expresso bar/candy station in the back. The service was nice and friendly. Overall, this place is a must try! read more

I just moved to the area from Arizona and have already been to Sweet Spot Café twice -- once with my brother and our kids, and another time with my kids and cousin. It's quickly becoming a family favorite! The ice cream is outstanding. I had the cannoli and the Reese's with peanut butter and chocolate chip, while my son loved the s'mores and also the Reese's with peanut butter and chocolate chip. Every bite was creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really stood out, though, was the service. My son was talking through what he wanted, and Chris overheard and offered him a taste. He even let me sample my flavors too -- all done with a smile and genuine pride in his creations. That kind of personal touch makes the experience extra special. To think we almost skipped this place because our son had to pee and refuses public bathrooms lol. We came in and it was cute, even better was omg so delicious. Stopped in for gelato - had mint chip, Oreo, and rainbow cookie - and all were very good gelatos. The rainbow cookie in particular really tasted just like a rainbow cookie. There are so many options here beyond gelato and I look forward to coming back to try those as well! read more

My wife found this place and took our kids a few weeks ago. They all enjoyed it. While they were home from school and I was working, they tried some other places too. My kids always ended up wanting to go back to the Sweet Spot Cafe. I went with them today. The place is spotless, very wet lit, prices were average, and there is a huge selection. The owner was the one behind the counter. Very nice guy, very friendly. I had two of my kids all hyped up on sugar running around and he didn't mind at all. We've been to many places where the staff or owner has outright yelled at people's kids. Not here though. This is one of the easiest five stars I have ever given. read more
