Food 20/10 Ambiance: Perfectly unique Service: Fantastic!! My boyfriend and I went to Bongo Burrito on a Saturday night at around 7, we didn't make a reservation. We sat at the bar and got a drink while we waited. The bartender was friendly and one of the owners, Joe greeted as soon as we walked in. He knew my boyfriend from high school. Soon enough, we were sat at a cool picnic style table which could probably fit 6-8 people! I forgot our server's name but she was very sweet! I got a watermelon margarita and the drinks were definitely generous to us! The atmosphere is really unique and interesting. Spacious, and not too loud. For those who read my reviews you know I'm a salsa girl! Chips & Salsa: Nice kick in the flavor, not too chunky, not too loose. Delicious!! They also had bottled sauces on the table. The Mango Habanero was a favorite of the two, they also had Green Habanero which was good as well! Appetizer: I was excited to try the Mexi Mac N' Cheese. The ghost pepper cheddar sauce was NIIIICEEE and the chorizo and peppers gave it an awesome flavor. Meals: I ordered the Birria Quesadilla which came in the best plate I've ever seen. I'm definitely a "dipper" so it was great to get a side of pico, guacamole and sour cream. The consommé was superb! The quesadilla itself wasn't overpowered by either meat or cheese. Really nice balance - which is key to an amazing quesadilla, like this one. My boyfriend got Kandi's Chimichanga and when I say it's huge I mean it's HUGE! I tried and liked it a lot. He ate as much as he could and was more than satisfied. The boom boom sauce was insane also. I loved the outside area. I can't wait to visit again and try the coconut shrimp appetizer and much more! Awesome spot. Definitely will be recommending this place.

I was really hoping this place would be good because the aesthetic is so perfect. Food was a 1/10 for me. They start with free chips and salsa. The salsa was not good. Also got a side of guac, which also was not good. There was no flavor. I had the Carne Asada tacos as my entrée which again was not good there was more guacamole in the taco than there was actually meat. If you are looking for authentic tacos this is not the place. However, if you just want drinks with a cool vibe this is the spot.

I liked Bongo but thought it could be a little better from our experience, it was just average. We sat at a high-top a little after 4pm on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. My friend and I came to celebrate her birthday. We ordered drinks, a quesadilla to split, and shared the chips and salsa given upon arrival. My friend ordered a Pina colada which she said was fine, nothing to write home about. I ordered the sotally tober. It was mid. No real heat even though there were plenty of pepper seeds throughout and very weak I didn't taste a single drop of alcohol. The Mexican street shrimp quesadilla was good. The shrimp were large and cooked nicely not too overcooked like most places. And I loved the salsa that came with the chips when we first sat down. Service was pretty good. There were many people working during a slow time of day so we got a lot of attention which was nice. I just wish the drinks were better.

Food was okay... definitely not authentic Mexican food. But the service was very nice and the decor super cute! We also had the virgin mango mojitos & those were good! The churros tho were AMAZING , I'd come back just for the churros & cappuccino alone

Super cute vibes here. I love the decor! I was planning on coming here anyway but I saw the yuca fries with corn queso posted on Instagram as a special for the week and knew right off the bat I was starting with those and they did not disappoint! They were very flavorful and enough to split. We also got the fried banana pepper rings-they we're ok but def coulda used a dipping sauce rather than a measly drizzle. I got the spicy gringo sandwich which was anything but spicy and slightly over cooked but still good and we also split the stuffed churro which was excellent. For drinks I got the coconut margarita and the spicy margarita-both were weak and just pure sugar, made me sick later in the night. Our waiter was super friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would come again and try different things.

My friend and I were so excited to try this new spot for lunch. Firstly, the place is absolutely beautiful with such great decor inside. It reminds me of the rainforest cafe on vacation. We were greeted by almost the entire staff - they were all so friendly and welcoming. We started with some delicious cocktails and appetizers- the coconut shrimp app had a cool presentation and was tasty. We had guac and chips and shared a few tacos that were delicious and fresh. We ended with churros which were the best churros I've had in a LONG time!! They were stuffed with a cream that was out of this world, so definitely save room for dessert :) Can't wait to come back and try other menu items!

My mom and I came here on a Saturday night to grab some drinks and food. We were not disappointed. We ordered margaritas. I got the watermelon one and it was very tasty. We also ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla and some chicken tostadas. Everything is so delicious including both chips and salsa. Additionally, we sat outside and it was such a lovely night. The decor inside and out is really something to look at.

The vibe here is literally tropical vacation and I love it! There's open front windows, a nice bar and a whole outside seating area in the back filled with decorations. The food was incredible, like super delicious and came out really quick. So if you're hungry the service is perfect for you! Some of the dishes that came out had such awesome presentation. If you're looking for a great drink menu they got it all too. You're really gonna love the names on some of the food and drink items too. Nothing like getting a good laugh while you give your order. The only issues I have with this new location is it's small so if it's busy you're gonna be waiting and no reservations. That's a huge kick in the knees because you can't even plan ahead to at least ensure that if you wanna go in you'll make it. But needless to say if you do make it inside you will be leaving happy and full!

Stop what you're doing. Drop everything. And run to Bongo Burrito in Seaford. This is Seaford's newest taco/burrito spot and it brought the heat! "How could they possibly compete with Dirty Taco?", you may ask. Here's how: The ambiance. In a word- FUN. Love the monkey/rain forest theme. It's not such a big space but they have two different outdoor options. I can tell this place is going to be very popular and the outdoor space will be well appreciated. My husband, 1.5 year old son and I came in for some Friday afternoon tacos. Our expectations weren't too high but we were very surprised by how fresh and delicious the food was. We started with the guacamole which was chunky and not too spicy. They also give chips and salsa as soon as you sit. The salsa was different but out of this world. I've never had salsa so smooth. We had the cauliflower tacos and they were phenomenal!! Next time we'll try the sweet potato ones. Our hostess was Hope and she was the sweetest. It's great to be greeted by such friendly staff. Everyone seemed very happy to work there. Our waiter was Connor. Even my husband commented on what a great server he was. Attentive, kind, and ok with a baby continuously waving each time he passed our table. I'm SO glad this place hit because Seaford needed a low key, hip taco/burrito spot. Definitely worth a trip!

Enjoying some very good drinks at the bar.

I heard about this place which just opened a couple of months ago, and had to try their food and drinks for myself. Fried avocado...delicious. Al pastor and carne smack that asada tacos...delicious. dessert affagato...yes,delicious We ate by the bar...cool bartenders, offered good drink suggestions. Love the way the place is decorated, a very fun vibe. Prices are reasonable by todays standards. This place will be successful!

Such a cute environment! Sat outside twice, fun inside also. I had the ribs, my friend had the crunch wrap, and my husband had the Auna taco. They were all amazing.

Such an underrated gem in Seaford. They have both a nice patio in the back decorated to give all the island vibes as well seating out front on the street side, and of course indoor availability. Service was very personable and quick from drinks through the end of the meal. They certainly don't skimp on the variety of options food wise from starters, quesadillas, tacos to wraps etc. Drink wise I went with the "Mammacita Needs A Margarita" aka a Spicy Marg. Loved the addition of cucumber to the drink to balance it and give it a little refreshing aspect. Food wise we just got a smattering of tacos (Luger, Tropical Lobstahhh, Birria, Al Pastor, Carne Smack Dat Asad and the Cali-Flower) just to try and sample a little of everything. First and foremost, the portions are legit - they don't skimp out so you'll be full or even have extra to take home. Taste wise, my top 3 were the Luger, Lobster and Cali-Flower. All very flavorful and unique in their own way. Definitely will be back once the weather heats up!

We showed up a week ago with a group of 8, no reservation, because they don't give them. It's first come first serve. The staff pulled out a Hail Mary and set us up out in the back deck. Let's start with the drinks. We all tried different ones (even the kids got some of the Coca Cola from Mexico) the adult drinks were great, my wife's mamacita margarita was the big winner. Food wise, we ordered apps like loaded nachos, fried banana rings and fried avocado. Everything was delicious, with large portions and quick service. Dinner, again, a mixed bag of entrees were ordered and everything was amazing. I got the surf and turf, it was really different and tasty. We def recommend this restaurant!

the answer is yes, try it!!!!…read more A nice pleasant surprise. I saw the photos and new I needed to try it. The food actually taste as good as the photos look. I can always appreciate a fresh, moderately priced casual eatery. The place is very casual and designed as more of a takeout spot. I had the nachos and a crunch wrap... woah! I split both with bae we didn't need both, he was stuffed and I took my crunch wrap to go. well, when I heated it the next day, it wasn't bad. The shrimp and steak were cooked well and I salvaged every bite, lol. If you're thinking about it and need a quick filling meal, I recommend!

The price cannot be beat especially considering the quality. We ordered the catering 10 birria tacos, the grande nachos, the fajita taco family meal for 5, a grande chicken quesadilla, and chips and different dips. All was amazing. But a few things were forgotten. These things happen. But the manager went above and beyond to remedy the situation even sending a half tray of churros as an apology which was unnecessary but very generous (and they were excellent.) You cannot beat the value, quality, and taste. Order Ole Fajitas for your next take out night!

I love the vibes of this place, from the festive environment to the very friendly staff. Not sure…read moreabout the story behind it, but it feels like a family operation and who doesn't love that? I came here with my father and cousin on a Saturday night and the place was pleasantly busy, but we were able to find parking and a table. I don't like to say "plenty of tables" to indicate it was empty. We got there super early, like 6pm and by the time we left, it was busier. I'd eaten a late lunch and wasn't particularly hungry, so I just ordered some tableside guac. My cousin can't handle spice at all (annoying. I say this with love. She's 22 so she has time to grow into it), so when asked about spice level, I sadly replied the dreaded "mild." You know what? It was still really freaking good. I suspect quality ingredients are at play. I also had a glass or two of white wine and these are generous pours, friends. The menu is priced extremely fairly in these tough times. There's not many vegan options on the menu (plenty of vegetarian) however I'm pretty sure I can cobble something decent together when I return. And I say that with certainty because my father had been here only two weeks prior and couldn't stop talking about the tortilla soup, which ordered and devoured again. He's not easy to please either. Glad to have another restaurant on our roster because we eat out a lot!
