I went to try this place out on their grand opening and OH BOY was it delicious. I drove all the way from Davis, CA which has many boba places and this place is definitely a top notch on my list of favorite boba places. I ordered a Thai Tea with Boba which is just the taste you're looking for. I also ordered the piña colada which was the perfect blend of pineapple and coconut and ice. The ice was smooth and was perfect after a hot day. Lastly, my favorite drink was the strawberry smoothie with the cheese creama. This drink is caffeine free and is a unique twist to any boba drink before. It tastes both sweet and a light kick of cheese which gives the impression of a cheesecake. This boba tea spot has really good options. The boba is always perfectly chewy and not too firm or soft, just right. The passion fruit green tea actually has real fruit and seeds from the fruit itself. Super tasty and refreshing. It is already pretty darn sweet without any additional sweetener so I suggest getting 0% sweetness for most of their fruit teas. The other items on the menu such as coffee milk tea are really good and jasmine pure tea. The place is also really cute and has a really fun vibe. I have become a die hard fan of this place and it's exceptionally kind hearted staff, without ever tasting any of their delicious offerings! Over this past weekend, I was at the Napa High School across the street, to support my son's high school band team during a competition. As it turned out, we ran out of forks while feeding dinner to our team members, who needed to rush to the awards ceremony. I ran across the street to Sweet Straw, told them about our challenge and requested if they could spare some forks. The staff members acted promptly and came back with a large box of forks, and declined to receive any payment for it! This selfless act of kindness by the staff literally enabled a group of hungry kids to get their dinner that night! Btw, I saw several kids happily enjoying what they bought at this place. so I'm positive their offerings are as good as their staff! Hope their management also celebrates them! read more

As a person who loves boba, when I found out that there was a new boba shop in town, I was really happy. I decided to drop by and try their boba, however, when I got there the line was long. Understanding that this is fairly new boba shop, I waited in line. There was at least 3 customers ahead of me and yet it took 30 minutes for them to finish assisting them before I was able to order. I then ordered my drink and they managed to mess up my order so they had to make another one. One thing I noticed is that the workers were a little slow at their job even though there was about 5 workers. As a person that works with customer service, to better assist the customers, their team work skills needs to be enhanced. I understand that this is a new boba shop but there's a lot of improvement that needs to be done. read more

I just went today for lunch and I experienced really rude workers I ordered before my other friends and they received their drinks before me. I asked them nicely if they've made my drink and they said no and I said ok and they asked me what I got and I said savs lemonade and they had one on the counter which was the same thing but I wanted it blended they used a really rude tone with me which I don't appreciate I wasted money and didn't get even the thing I wanted. read more

The drinks at Sweet Straw are good but the service is super subpar and unexceptional. The wait is so long even though they only allow 4 people in their store at a time. I've waited upwards of 15 minutes for one drink with just 2 other people in front of me. Also, when I have called and asked questions regarding specific drinks the service was just rude. I almost never write a review and I really want to love this place but it just disappoints every time in the service department which, for me, is almost always the reason why I return to a place or don't. read more

Visited this spot knowing it's the only boba shop in Napa! It's very small when you walk in and the decor is very trendy and cute. I ordered a couple of drinks, but I personally bought the strawberry matcha latte. Definitely shake the drink before hand even if it looks too pretty to do it! The drink tasted more powdery from the matcha but the strawberry syrup at the bottom makes up for it. Also they give you paper straws, but be careful because they crack and break easily when you're sipping and I was sad because I had to work my way around it LOL.
